Had a parma on parma special night, very cheap but delicious and the chips were good too. Was fairly busy so service not super quick.

Absolutely delicious food worth the money in value, quality and quantity.
Relaxing and comfortable and very friendly staff!

We have been here a few times but lately the service has been outstanding and we really have noticed. Joel the bartender has engaging conversations and actually cares about what you have to say. It’s a very welcoming venue. The food portion sizes are extremely generous and very delicious. 100% recommend

My husband and I stopped there for a meal and were very impressed. I ordered the prawn linguine with a touch of chilli, garlic, cherry tomatoes etc. It was amazing! Well done Dylan! (Chef) My husband’s parmigiana also passed the taste test! These pub meals exceeded our expectations!

Good range of meals at acceptable prices. Service suffering from lack of staff like most entertainment venues.

Wildly overpriced food and drinks (nearly $30 for a pint of tap cider and a pint of mid-strength beer). The food was also severely delayed, even allowing for the fact that it was Friday night and quite busy. Steak shouldn't beat a parmigiana out of the kitchen, under any circumstances.

At least one staff member was outright rude, telling us to get out of her way as she negotiated a busy area of the pub. It was a busy Friday night, what exactly do the staff expect, wide open fields?

Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere.

Waiting 1hr 40mins for lunch is unacceptable. I assume they totally forgot the order because when I asked after an hour and 10mins, they said it would be another 5 mins but was actually 30mims.

It really ruined my wife's birthday plans for the afternoon as we missed the afternoon tea we had planned.

Staff went above and beyond, were always smiling, and happy to help in anyway they could! We will deffinatly be coming back!

Fantastic place to stay and also to have a meal and a drink. All the staff
were extremely helpful and friendly. Special mention to Mitchell who served us at the bar and helped us get to the wedding venue in Coldstream.
The food was delicious and there was a decent drinks menu. Accommodation was great. Loved the balcony outside our room at the top of the tower! Definitely recommend.

Found this pub by accident and was surprisingly amazed by the quality of the food! Definitely good value for money too with the generous food portions. Absolutely devoured the fish and chips! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff and easy parking. Highly recommend ️

Ordered food to only be delivered 1: 30 hrs after. I understand that you are busy but you MUST let customers know when they place an order that the food is delayed so we know if we still would like to proceed with the order and keep waiting. I'm certainly not impressed with this place. No refund offered, staff kept saying it will be another 10 to 15 minutes wait, ridiculous actually. Never again!

Great food and drinks and staff were lovely under the pressure of a busy Saturday lunch and dinner service!

The beer and wine was lovely and partners food (steak) was amazing, Hoover the Parma was not hot and pretty stodgy.

We ordered chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado. While ordering we were told that we have to wait 40-45 mins. The order actually came after 1 hour 40 minutes.
The takeaway box had chicken burger in it when we opened it. When I asked the person (with beard) that we ordered chicken sandwich but we got chicken burger then he said its a pub sandwich

Bartender was friendly, he didn't mind me asking silly question about Apple Cider and recommended something I really enjoyed.

Big portion but the waiting time is unbelievable. Checked in at 1pm but food came at 3pm, by that time we were so hungry and tired. Even only there were only 3 tables. Dont accept customers if you dont have capacity to serve.

Waiting over an hour for food at lunch time. No warning of the delay. Nothing done to appease our waiting but "sorry". 29th Dec 2021. Last time I come here. Negative or zero stars not available to select. Not sure about the food yet.haven't received it after an hour 10 minutes and counting.

Disappointing is the only word I can use for the experience of eating at The Grand. We had a booking for 1pm and ordered our food by 1.30pm……our lunch did not arrive until 3.15pm almost 2 hours later. The food was average at best and clearly not worth the wait. And we were not the only people waiting for extended times. The staff were pleasant and very apologetic but the practice of accepting ‘walk~in’s’ for meal service when the kitchen was evidently not coping with service was not acceptable. There was nothing Grand about this experience and we will not be returning

Terrible service, had to wait 30 minutes after everyone to receive my meal. 2 trips to the bistro to remind them, and not even an apology from wait staff or members on the till.
Excuse was "we sometimes forget when it gets busy".
All young staff with absolutely no clue about hospitality.
