Apple Chermside

Went in to see about a problem with the battery in my wife's phone. They claim that loosing 30% charge in less than 3hrs in a year-old phone is normal then try to charge over $100 to replace a battery that should be under warranty. Eventually they did it for free but I wonder how many people just hand over the $$?

Apple Chermside very busy very well organised. Helpful and friendly drop in but make an appointment before you go.

One star is more than what they deserve, wanted to by a gift and was turned away as I “need to see a specialist for sizing” before I can make a purchase, and I need to make an appointment to make said purchase

Went in to get my work phone looked at and was served by a young lady called Shawny. All I can say is if Apple has a leadership programme then you need to get her on it. Her service was top notch, very knowledgeable and very professional behaviour. Made my experience with Apple an absolute pleasure

The store manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Due to the unfortunate mistake made by the Apple staff, we had to leave the store empty handed. Only get the emotional stress from the store manager,
who was threatening and bullying us in front of all the customers. If you can, avoid the Chermside store. FOREVER.

Shocking customer service, the girl was not interested in the issue with my phone nor would she get another person to help. She was more interested in flirting with her male colleagues than offering assistance, I was absolutely disgusted with her attitude

Went in, told it would be 35-45 mins wait, 90 mins later went back to see why we were not called and told it would be another 2 hours - needless to say we left - very very rude of the staff.

Due to Covid everyone has to wait in line. I had a disabled person I do support work for and she needed her ipad looked at. I spoke with a lovely young lass and explained my situation to her as my client is unable to stand for long periods of time and we were early for our booked timeslot. This lovely young lady had us follow her into the store and had us sitting down in no time, and we had a great guy help us out. Can not fault this apple store with their help to the disabled community. Well done guys. Keep up the great work

Fantastic service today at Apple Chermside! Love how proactive they are with checking temperatures and masking customers, the security person (didn’t get his name but had dark hair and glasses) at the front was so funny and friendly!
David helped me in the line and he went above and beyond! He was super friendly and explained everything so well, helping me make the best choice for my needs, I never felt pressured! He did so great that I ended up making all my decisions right there in the line without even having to go inside for a consultation with a sales assistant! He got all my things ready and I was sent to the express lane where Aliyah processed the sale in such a friendly and efficient manner! Best service I have ever received from Apple!

Phone cover bought when I purchased my iPhone XS in early 2020, both at the apple store chermside is falling apart. Went in to see if I can get it replaced (both bought less than 12 months ago), ‘computer said no’! Apparently you have to save all the bits that fall off otherwise they won’t replace because it’s incomplete. The first time I noticed it, a bit was missing off the corner! This phone is in excellent condition, no marks on it, never been dropped. It’s either in my pocket or on the bench. It’s the black rubber cover with an open bit at the bottom so it doesn’t block the speakers and you can access the phone charger. It’s the rubber on the corners down the bottom of the phone (adjacent open bit) that are the weak points. Absolutely disgraceful! For a company that makes billions of dollars to be squabbling over an overpriced phone cover that obviously has a design fault is a joke!

Apple store did not allow us to purchase Apple Watch because the store was closing in 25 minutes. They asked us what you guys would like to buy. We said specifically what we wanted. They did not even allow us to enter the store. We were just told that the manager has closed the till.

The guy who served me was great so was the lady managing the cue. Definitely less scary since Steve Jobs died.

The service and customer service attitude at this store is the worst I’ve ever received from apple. The staff are rude, the system for accessing the store and purchasing appalling and I won’t shop here again.

I have been here twice with fairly serious issues with my iPhones and both times the staff have been incredibly generous and were able to fix the issues at no cost to me. If you’re having issues, just ask. It can’t hurt.

Staff at the front where awesome and took care of people by getting them chairs while waiting the short time. Very professional.

Water damaged phone - charged Max price to replace with no new warranty. Didn't offer trade in or upgrade options. Very ordinary. Better off dealing direct with online support.

Fantastic and friendly staff especially at Christmas time. Wait time was very prompt and effective and efficient staff. Great experience will be back if required.

My product was faulty and only just out of warranty. They extended the warranty and replaced my product for free. Great service and we’ll organised. Super impressed with the staff and setup at Chermside Apple.

In 50 years, there will be a documentary looking back at the sad, mindless drones that constituted the cult of Apple.
