Receptionist was abhorrent and disgustingly rude. I called up to make a simple, routine appointment and I was constantly interrupted and talked over, and was met with blunt and nasty responses spoken in a tone that is absolutely unacceptable. The receptionist’s job is to take phone calls from patients and clearly, this lady can’t handle it or do it properly. Her attitude needs to be adjusted because I won’t be coming back, purely because of how rudely I was treated.

Based on older reviews, this has clearly been an issue for some time, so, staff; please work on fixing this as soon as you can, for your own sake.

Very bad booking system and booking team service. I doubt if they never even checked if their booking system working well. I tried to make an appointment with my GP on phone, but the automatic voice led me to the booking team, the woman answered the call said she could not do anything for me as my GP had to be booked by the main reception not her. I told her I couldn’t get the main reception as the automatic voice only led me to the booking team. The woman said I should try again. I did but still got the same result. She became very impolite and hung off my call before I finished my words. I called back and asked why she was so rude, we tried to see the GP for our health issues, preventing us from seeing a doctor is very cruel. She said she would ask the main reception to call me back but I didn’t get any call from them.

The ladies at the front desk are very helpful.
So do make an appointment as the DRS here are always busy looking after you're health.

The most incompetent medical centre in the Illawarra, 40min to 1 hr wait for appointments while there Dr's basically are doing nothing and the reception staff are constantly rude with a no help agenda. PATHETIC.

I have been going to this practise for many years but I am done with there lack of service, cannot get in to see anybody, doctor you usually see is not there anymore and to top it all off an appointment you have is 15 minutes late. What if you are really sick and need a doctor they have a no care factor.

My mother went into this medical centre today for an appointment to get a xray because she had been coughing up blood since she woke up in the morning.

She was denied service and told to go somewhere else, yet she tested negetive to covid, they still kicked her out.

What kind of medical professional turns down a woman whose stressing out wanting to know why she's coughing up blood.

Beyond pathetic.

After 30+ years of coming here I am more than upset. 2hrs+ sitting in waiting area despite having an appointment. I am going to phone around for a better, truely healing and caring place. I am done being treated like I am less than human by Wollongong medical centre and I hope they start caring for the well being of people soon.

I have been coming to this place for at least 20 years and the customer care is at the all time low.
The level of rudeness at the front desk is unbelievable, the management needs to wake up.
Maybe host a class how to treat and talk to customers/patients. The doctors are good but the front reception needs a clean up. If I could give it 0 I would.

My sister called in because of a heart problem she had after the first vaccine. After a check up, even when her heart hurted everyday, the doctor just said DRINK MORE WATER!?

No Doctor Available to take appointments 1 hour before closing as all doctors left early. And only one was there doing vacines and could not be interrupted.

Very irresponsible "medical center" who is ment to look after the wollongong Community.

Receptionist Was Very Rude!

Very Poor service even in a pandemic you would expect them to roster a doctor till close! Apparently subject to availability, wish I could just leave work whenever I wanted.

I seriously don't look forward to entering this medical centre. I'm always leaving feeling upset. The reception staff are horrible. I feel they don't want to be bothered.

Growing up in Coniston and "Dr. Sharma" on Bridge Street having a lot of North Macedonian patients this is a shanti town. Madonna gone wrong on the phone as a walkin trying to make an appointment and "Serbian" friend of mine screaming her head off eating "pastitzi" if one was to call - whilst men/women/highschoolers/women in prams try and catch.

. Public transport as well the patients try to run their errands and get an appointment outside

It's humiliating just booking the consultation. Receptionists will hardly speak to you and often hang up without saying bye or thanks. Shocking service.

The review is for (most of.) the doctors and the nurse. There is one receptionist who is really rude. Only one really nice one. Disappointing that someone who is so rude is in such close contact with vulnerable members of the community.

Doctors are great but receptionists are worse arogant untrained for this kind Of work!
They treat you as you are nobody and nothing thinking they have right to humiliate you laugh to you make you feel worthless treat you as complete idiot!
Hopefully someone up higher reading all this comets and in near future doing something about it? Retrain or completely change receptions stuff including managers who are also on their side regardless what happen! If this is their own business by now it will defenetly be closed!

Had a appointment with skin specialist after waiting 45 minutes after the appointment time he came out of his room had a quick look in the waiting room told me it wasn't to serious and to re book another appointment

Couldn't manage the online booking system so called the booking line. Was given a 10am telehealth appointment and was finally called by the Dr at 12: 15.
No apology was offered as to why the over 2hr delay.
