Told me I couldn’t have a Telehealth appointment and then charged me for it anyway.

Happy for you to just refund me, not sure what differs. I have the voicemail saved and can show you the transaction.

Receptionist was very rude and hung up on me mid sentence. Horrible service from someone that matches their attitude.

I don't think staff know how to answer a phone. Being on being on hold for as long as they do isn't okay especially for a medical centre.

Even though there is generally a wait time, that is pretty normal in most medical offices, the front desk staff are courteous and friendly and willing to assist you with any questions. The Nurses are AMAZING. I get regular injections and pain free! And they are empathetic and funny too. I see Dr Jayswal, He is thorough and doesn't rush you, he is compassionate and he listens, he really goes the extra mile. The service has really improved over the years and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

It seems the only way to contact this centre is to leave a bad review and I am totally happy to do so, after attempting to call for the last 2 weeks. Yes I understand the centre is busier than usual etc but I have spent hours on hold, spending my whole day with this on loudspeaker, hoping someone would answer as I need to make an appointment.
But now I am going to ask my GP to refer me somewhere else, that actually answers the phone in a timely manner. Yes it says you can book online but you see I have been referred to a specialist that unfortunately works there.

I like this place it was a 15 minute wait for a man with sand in his eye (me). Like i love the staff and i feel sorry for all the backlash like mate how hard r u gonna judge. I feel bad for you Victoria.i hope this makes u feel better. 5 stars best medical centre in nsw

Unfortunately not a positive review at all. I visited the clinic on behalf of my extremely ill and elderly dad who is a patient there - goodness only knows why -as his GP talked over me and didn't listen to what information I needed to take to the Dental Clinic. He rudely dismissed me from his room without providing the paperwork and publicly humiliated me within the waiting area. Furthermore, in the past when sharing some specific medical concerns about my dad, the doctor replied 'it has nothing to do with me'. I was dumbfounded by such an uncaring and unprofessional attitude. I will not be returning to the clinic.

Pathetic experience
Doctor was good but there was no management at the centre
I had to wait for a my son vacination for 1 hour because the nurse staff was in so called meeting and no body knows where are nurses
Very disappointing service
Just the doctors are good

Not one for leaving bad reviews but absolutely must in this case.

I had a doctor from this medical centre prescribe an ultrasound for my ankle. I Called Wollongong medical a few days after checking in to see if my results had arrived. Told by the receptionist that they couldn’t verify and I’d have to book an appointment with the doctor directly to check if the results were in. However the receptionist got extremely frustrated with me when I asked the simple question of why I needed to book an appointment just to find out if the results were in because if the results weren’t in, I’d still be paying for the appointment. She then somehow agreed to have the doctor call me when he received the results. A few days later,
I got a call from the doctor who didn’t seem to know why he was calling me, only that he’d been asked to call me. I reminded him that he probably called to let me know if my results had come in. He acted surprised but then acknowledged that he could see that they had come in. I mentioned to him that the ultrasound operator told me during the test that they couldn’t see much during the test to which he said “it would certainly appear that way, yes”. The phone call lasted less than 60 seconds and I received a bill from the surgery. I was quite surprised and upon calling the surgery was told that the doctor had booked 12 minutes as the consult time. I asked if the charges could be reversed because I was not told that this would be an appointment and the fact that my preference was to see the doctor in person as this was an ankle injury. I was told that there was nothing the surgery could do as the doctor had chosen to charge me and provided me with an email address to complain to. The doctor had also flown overseas for a month and I wasn’t able to book an in person appointment.

I have no issues with paying the fees had I been told prior but to be surprised with them without been given the option for a further discussion is quite unfair.

Large medical centre on lower Crown Street near Wollongong Mall with large pathology service downstairs and a big queue and shorter times to see a medico before closing time with friendly receptionists & busy front desk. Med centre complies with coronavirus protocol and is clean. Appointments are available through a phone consultation or medical appointment with medico. Extremely busy once opened particularly rush hour (1200hrs - 1300hrs) Experienced medicos on duty. Next to bus stop enroute West into Coniston/Mt. St Thomas & Figtree as well. Medical centre has two floors. Entrance is from main Crown Street entrance.

Some things never change. Receptionists still bitter and rude. Still wait in reception for ages for a booked appointment, while drs walk around chatting. Just now we get to pay for the privilege.

One of the worst medical Centre.irresponsible staff appointment been made to book a visit to your doctor for certain time.delay over 2.5h and still 2 Infront.so min 3h delay.
If you cannot keep patent appointment why are you giving them.and why patent not been informed of the long delay.
As well as they refuse to pot me on available doctor.are we in Afghanistan and we don't know.

I would like to add a positive review.as all I see here is the negatives.
I have returned to this medical centre after having to go elsewhere during all the ongoing covid issues of the past two years. I have had excellent service, both from front reception & the Dr I have chosen to now be my regular GP. Such a shame that only the people who have had a bad experience bother to write a review. When in actual fact this is a very accommodating medical centre with wonderful Doctors & staff.
My only issue & concern is the introduction of having to pay above the bulk billing rate, Which will be introduced in the new year. ️

I haven’t been mistreated and miss diagnosed by Dr Nguyen when I was 20 years old. It has caused a lot of damage to my body so far. He acted like doesn’t care that’s the problem.

Julie in the front desk and Dr. Tania had the worst attitude. They don’t know how to talk to patients. Two of the ladies in the front desk were very racist I’d say because I saw them talking to others nicely whereas the way they talked to me was unacceptably rude. Wish there was a zero star option since the service doesn’t even deserve a single star. Never going there again.
