Access Canberra Service Centre reviews
71If you enjoy wasting an 1.5 hours of an afternoon then this is the place for you. They seriously need to hire more staff!
It was great very friendly staff and very helpful and it was practising great social distancing
Wasn't in there long, maybe twenty minutes for a license renewal. No hassles, staff were lovely.
Counter 9 person on Friday afternoon was very unhelpful and rude. I was very unhappy from the service I received yesterday. 0 customer service.
Knowing how hard it is to attend your limited hours, why in earth do you not have enough staff on at the end of the day when there is an enormous line winding down the side of the building?
Friendly service, once my ticket was called, everything was quick and hassle free.
But the wait time to get inside is a bit too much.
I renewed my driving licence at the Belconnen shopfront this morning. I was half expecting a long and boring wait, and a complicated process once I got to the counter. However, I was very impressed with (1) reception on arrival at the entry door and (2) the speed of service and the efficiency of the staff member who served me. Thumbs up guys! Goes to show 'public service' can be very good.
In the rush to get there with children in tow, I forgot to fill-out one of the forms. The staff were polite, accommodating and helped me through the red-tape instead of sending me away to figure it out - for that I am thankful.
Overall, a good experience!
Truly rubbish. I qued for not quite an hour for a transaction that was processed quite efficiently in a couple of minutes. Badly needs an appointment system or a website wait time tracker.
A great example of good customer service from a public service centre. Been there for a multiple times and the way they are trying to help customers is amazing.
I waited more than an hour in a line out the front. Still 20 people in front of me. Absolutely joke. No value for rate payers!
Standing in a line out the front for an hour. No seats available. No one to confirm if the service you are looking for can be found here once you finally get in.
It's ok if your healthy. However, if your elderly or disabled this would make these services very hard to access. Not to mention you can't line up after 3: 45? You wouldn't be able to access these services if you work monday-friday.
Good job ACT government.
I understand that covid is happening, but let's not ignore context. No community transmission in Canberra for months. This is crazy.
The staff is Fantastic, they are helpful and effeciant. How ever who ever introduced this new working hours and the unnesicary que outside that last for ever needs to think a better way.
Unacceptable to line up for 1: 30 hours
Visited belconnen Centre on feb 1st and only 3 people working!
With the new opening hours, if you need to use the shopfront the queue is so long you might as well take the day off work.
I turned up, took one look at the full waiting room, line out the door, around the corner, and down to the next block and walked away.
You know some people have jobs right?
Fantastic service everytime! Just be aware that it's strict COVID safe policies so you are lining up outside with 13 people allowed inside.
You wait for ever then you get told they will call you back in 5 business days to finish the reason you went in for in the first place.
I have been visiting the Belco Access Canberra since 2015 and has always received the excellent customer service from this shopfront. Most of the times busy but very friendly staff, great service, and calm during the rush hours. These guys (Tatiana, Greg, Suzanne, Chris, Bree, Frances, Craig, Billy, Beth from the call centre) knows what they are doing and goes above and beyond for the customers.
If you stop admitting customers at 3.45 pm then that is your closing time, not 4pm or 4.30pm but 3.45pm!
I couldn't renew my car registration on-line because my old address was still in the system as my postal address (which I was explained as the root of the problem today at Access Canberra in Woden). But when I went to Access Canberra Belconnen yesterday, they did not even want to spend one minute to fix it (took one minute to be fixed here at Woden today). I explained to them that I have updated my new address there at Belconnen Access Canberra when I moved to my new rental property months ago and even showed them the new address label at the back of my driver's license (which was the only document Woden needed to sort out the issue), but instead they still insisted that I have to make a phone call to Access Canberra which was not helpful at all because I explained to them that my car rego will expire end of April. It was obvious that they were so reluctant to help and do what Woden did today. I translate this behavior a very weak customer service.
