Make sure you call ahead, if they are hosting a wedding or any special occasion they only take bookings no walk in quest.

So don’t drive by and think you’ll have a lovely lunch. Little disappointed

We had the most delicious lunch here and the staff were amazing. My sister has two dietary requirements and they could not have been more helpful and obliging. The dessert I had here was the strawberry one and it was undoubtedly one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this fabulous restaurant.

Tasting was pretty underwhelming, the lady serving us was not very friendly and didn't give us any information on the wines. We were done in 5 minutes and that was it.

We have been here multiple times and are always impressed by the quality of the food and attentive wait staff!

While the space is lovely and the menu was full of great sounding dishes, the tasting menu never gave us a 'wow' feeling. Not to say that it wasn't tasty food, but there wasn't anything stand out amongst the dishes. Maybe we were just spoiled after so many winery visits, but for the price this isn't the best dining in the region.

We had lunch with friends over the festive season.
The place is very pleasant with a nice lawn area. The lunch was pretty good, especially the banana parfait I ordered for dessert.
The only 2 downfalls were that the room was hot. There's no AC nor ceiling fans that made the experience not as pleasant for some of us. The other downfall was the temperature of the wines that was too high (1 red and 1 rose).

Although great scenery and friendly staff, the menu was very restrictive. Our group wanted to order the 6 course menu however one person does not eat beef. They were not accommodating and did not offer any substitutions. Would not return unfortunately.

I was there to try their wines, and due to being in the Wine Industry allowed to go through all the wines with a very knowledgeable & passionate lady behind the counter. She was never in a rush, welcoming and knew her wines, & down to earth and very proud of what Xanadu is making.

2018 Stevens Rd Chardonnay was wine of the day for me. If you are down south - get the cellar door and taste their incredible range of wines, even better take the time enjoy meal there!

My first time dining here after years of enjoying their incredible wines. The food was exceptional & we enjoyed the 3 course meal. There was not one thing I could complain about, everything was cooked to perfection & the wine pairing from the staff was exceptional. The banana parfait is the best desert you’ll ever have, I could eat that over and over again

Decided to try the 3 course lunch at Xanadu - service was excellent by gentleman from front desk. Food was good. Different flavours. Not our favourite meal in this trip however all the dishes were cooked well.

Nice relaxing spot to see the world threw a wine lens

Low key, unpretentious and simply a nice spot to try some new wines

The 2018 cab sav is a worthwhile drop to take home

Fabulous atmosphere only surpassed by exceptional cuisine. All five members of our party thoroughly enjoyed their 2 or 3 course meals. The djl CabSav was a perfect accompaniment. Definitely recommend!

Pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food. The starter was a preserved sardines dish that was delicious. The main course consisted of deboned beef spare ribs with pak Choy & raddish in XO sauce. The meat was marinated in five spices and slow cooked to such tenderness that it could melt in your mouth! The potatoes were crunchy and tasty. I’d give it 5 star for food but just 3.5 star for venue as the restaurant is a bit dated and not much view.

Absolute knockout food, wine and service.
If you are after a little something special with down to earth staff, this is it.

One of the best Sunday afternoons I can remember

My partner and I had the 7 Course Degustation lunch with the Paired Wine option, Sunday just gone and it was hands down the best lunch I have ever eaten and don't even get me started on the wine.

I believe Lauren was our server and her customer service is impeccable, which made the experience all the most perfect.

Would highly recommend, that if you are in the region, stop in for lunch and be prepared for a whole lot of deliciousness

We came here expecting great food as it won a 2019 Chef Hat award. The food and service didn’t live up to our expectation. We arrived for our reservation at 1: 15, selecting the two course menu. The sparsely filled restaurant had two people serving, who took half an hour to take our order. Our mains were served at 3pm. To take almost 2 hours for a main to arrive is unacceptable. We waited patiently but it was only when we flagged one of the waitresses an hour and a half in did she apologise for the wait. When the mains eventually came out we found them under seasoned and asked for salt and pepper. The waitress gave us two pepper shakers. We ended up getting up and getting the salt ourselves. The food was underwhelming, unbalanced and overpriced for what was presented. The waitress serving us did provide a discount on our final bill which was appreciated. Upon leaving we chatted to other people who had a similar dining experience and were also left waiting long periods between courses.

Wonderful cellar door experience thanks to an insightful, engaging young man with a passion for the winery and Margret River region. Some classic regional drops there in the CabSavs and Chardonnays, with some other interesting varietals available too. Stephens Road CabSav a must try. Margret River in a bottle

Wine is good but the vibe when you visit feels like someone killed the winemaker and their ghost is forever haunting the tasting hall.
