Food is good, service is okay. Can get quite busy. Had the steamed chicken, the first time I had it it was a huge serving and was tender, this time it was a bit dry and not a huge amount of flavor, the fried rice is nice and so are the clay pots, we tried beef and mushroom. Definitely give it a go.

Good value authentic quality late night restaurant in Chinatown. Food is GREAT here.it always is as it always has been for 30 years.

It was good before, but this time not satisfied with the service and the dish we ordered. Hopefully they focus more better and fast service.

We took a chinese friend there and the first thing she noticed that even though the restaurant was 3/4 full she was the only chinese customer there.
Her observation was that if the food was any good then it would be packed with the local chinese people.
The menu was huge some 460 item to choose from.
The service was prompt but not friendly at all.
All the food we had was basically tasteless from congee and dumplings, vegetables and the Honey black pepper Spare ribs.
No deserts were eaten and we had one bottle of NZ wine, The bill was still over $140.
Hygiene was average as there was more than one chunk of food that had dropped from the tables and left on the floor.
So if you do go there expect bland food and an average dinning experience.

We have just been there.terrible service. No body even bother to come and take the order or pay attention. I asked a lady with pink shirt for help And she was so rude and said “later sorry” and never came back and bother to even ask even though she walked pass our table so many times. Will not recommend or never go back again. I would not even give one star for their service.

Through the years I have visited this place once in a while, have never been disappointed.always enjoyed the spicy pork belly claypot.

Always order Marmalade Chicken! They have the best way to cook it. Very recommended! The seafood soup is really good. Best place to eat on Winter!

One of the popular hang out place for students looking for late night dinners. The food has been consistently good all these years. We had the stir fried kangkung with fermented bean curd, jer jer chicken and steamed pork mince with salted fish. The dishes came with steamed rice. We left with happy faces and satisfied tummies.

Long wait for average food, with dishes randomly arriving at different tables rather than a table at a time, and the dismissive demeanor of all staff sum to an experience that won't be repeated.

Good chinese food, a definite option for late night supper as its one of the few thats open. Menu is extensive and authentic food here. However the food quality has dipped over the years, quite disappointing as it used to definitely be the top chinese restaurant in Northbridge

Rude guy taking our order, asked whats the best seller, got annoyed by me asking questions, called another waiter to take our order.

I've heard so much good things about this place but the food was below expectation and the servers forced us to finish our dish. It was the most horrible experience I have had in WA and NEVER wish to go back. Please don't waste your money here.

It's not even worth one star. The food was terrible, service terrible, just generally terrible. I would never recommend anybody to visit here. They even cheat on the drinks. BE CAREFUL.

Good Chinese food, prices are a little high for a Chinese restaurant but worth it for the 4AM closing time. Sizzling Japanese tofu is great, would recommend. Mei cai cou rou (pork with pickled vegetables claypot) wasn't authentic - not enough of the pickled vegetable, not authentic flavour - but tasted nice as a normal stewed pork dish.
Rice $2.20 per person, card surcharges under $35.

Why no one mentioned some of your dimsum choices were not on the menu? Some of your staff lack basic manners. Appearing to be Annoyed, they Frequently walked away when we were in mid sentence as if our presence displeased them very much! Very heavy handed while packing up dishes in an already extremely noisy place. The other staff were friendly.food was to my liking personally that's why you get 2 stars. What's the big deal abt the place? If food is the only thing that matters to you, go ahead!

Average food at best. Do not understand the hype. But I guess that if you’re drunk enough taste doesn’t really matter.

When in last night after a couple
Of drinks as you do. Filthy place food all over the table and the floor and it looked like it had been there for a while. Once we sat down there was no way we were going to eat anything from there!

Uncle Billy’s never disappoints. The pepper chilli chicken is to die for. Super crispy and full of flavour.
Combination fried rice with loads of tasty seafood will not disappoint.
This time I tried the sizzling satay beef which was delicious.
Very prompt service.

Very nice Chinese meal, nice loud busy Chinese atmosphere. Sizzling beef in point. Soup dumplings pretty good aswell
