Padbury's Cafe Restaurant reviews
62Fabulous food, service was good and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend. Will be back to try more of the menu.
Really enjoyed our brekky. Always consistent with a fresh meal. Big portions! Probably could've shared a meal with my partner but also glad it was all mine
We ended up having breakfast here two days in a row (10-11/9) whilst we were in the lovely town of Guildford. The smashed avo, eggs on toast (poached and scrambled) and a side of mushrooms (delicious), with coffees both days. They were so good the first time we just had to come back. Nice covered area out the front to accommodate our dog as well. The staff were happy and helpful. Thank you.
Gosh darn it if they aren't the best pancakes I've had. Even if they weren't my order and I stole them from another group members plate, it's their fault for not being quick enough to stop me.
Otherwise: Cool interior, very defendable in the event of a zombie apocalypse.
Other food was great as well. Big servings.
Chill little raised booths by the windows.
I think if I had to be in a bar (cafe) fight, this would be the place to do it. Lots of wood, and some long tables to slide your favourite City slicker down it.
Maybe in time.
Zombie defence rating. 7/10.
The eastern wall is a bit exposed from their parking lot, and the front is quite glassy. It would be hard to stop the hoard there. However, it's very near to water, ready access for your zombie raiding truck and finally with the wooden furniture, you can make a decent barricade. This isn't your first choice for a main camp, however it offers good cover and a fine rendezvous. I suggest when tribes get set up this would be a good common ground to meet and trade.
Such a great place for the weekend brunch. Must try the hash with the special chilli sauce and their special pancakes.
Great service, fabulous brunch, good pricing. Going back on Sunday.for the pancakes.
So we went for the pancakes and they were fabulous. We've been back many times for breakfast and lunch, the food was excellent.
Last night though you dropped the ball.
The 6 mains were all excellent except for Paris mash, that was just good mashed potato. Paris mash should almost be able to pour. The desserts were a big disappointment.
The Broulee whilst smooth was WAY to thick.
The sticky date pudding wasn't, it was just a vaguely date flavoured muffiny thing with a thin sauce.
The fondant was very late arriving because they accidentally sent it to the wrong table, apologies accepted. The fondant was perfect but all the desserts were served with very cheap icecream, not thick and delicious.
Please address these things as it's a shame when everything else is very good.
Came here for a family breakfast, and ordered the smashed avo on toast with an orange juice, the pancakes and some fried eggs on toast with bacon. The cafe was vibrant and busy with a lovely vibe and the staff here were polite and friendly.
The smashed avo on toast was very tasty and the juice was fresh and sweet! Would definitely recommend this cafe for a lovely Sunday brunch!
This place is awesome peaceful staff are awesome, food awesome and the service impeccable highly recommended
Wonderful place and location!
We came for lunch and very much enjoyed the menu.
Quality, taste, portions and price all optimal.
Very much recommend.
Absolutely love their menu. Hashbrowns are incredible, souffle pancakes are delicious, good portion sizes and friendly staff.
Went for brunch with bestie. The lemon pancake is definitely the highlight and a must try! I personally don't like souffle pancake like with heavy eggy tastes but this one is so yum! No eggy taste at all. Very light, fluffly and not overly sweet. The lemon curd compliment well. Highly recommended!
Always a wonderful experience.fresh, hot and tasty.the potato Hash is awesome.pancakes stunning. Coffee excellent. Highly recommended
Cute little cafe. On the more expensive side but food and service were great.
Pretty crowded inside though.
Pancakes where next level delicious. Service was so great. Cannot fault it and definitly will be back soon.
Perfect for sunday brunch catch up with friends! The magic mushrooms dish was scrumptious and generously served.only recommendation would be to have table serve because there are long waits when lining up to order when it’s busy
From the moment we arrived we were greeted, the service and food was AMAZING! Coffee was hot and the soufflé pancakes are a must! One our fav breakie spots for sure.
Busy place so be prepared - book a table, promptly place your order on arrival & move on so others can enjoy too. It’s busy for a reason - delightful service & food. As a lemon Meringue lover, Pancakes are the best I’ve ever had.
The BEST food, every time, guaranteed. By far my favourite place to eat in Perth. And always consistently excellent. Great service too. (That Padbury’s hash. MMMMM!)
1000% recommend the pancakes. Absolute sugar overload, but totally worth it. Tastes amazing. Wish I could have ordered more but was absolutely stuffed after this.
Oh my gosh! The food wa so good, I can’t believe I waited so long to try it. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff were all friendly and the food was PERFECT
