Had the pancakes So good! Please try this. Warning it is very sweet. The beetroot hot chocolate was also quite nice. Very kind service here to.

We've been to Padbury's before and were expecting the same level of quality however this time I was disappointed. Not sure if it's because they have different cooks during the week but my potato rosti was soggy and undercooked, not the crispy deliciousness I was expecting. My husband had the pancakes which he said were as good as usual.

They can be quite slow to take your order and flagging them down if you want a second coffee can be a bit of a challenge.

We will give them another go in the hope that this was just a one off bad day with the food.

The atmosphere was inviting and warm complimented by the friendly staff, we got a couple of juices which were delicious and I got the prawn omelette with the crispy pancake it was amazing, the chilli jam on top was the perfect accompaniment, the crispy pancake on top went perfectly with the omelette which was full of juicy prawns. I couldn’t help but get a couple of caramel cream donuts on the way out I mean how could you not! And I wasn’t disappointed, I’ll definitely be back.

While the place is stunning, the staff are snobby and not welcoming at all. Such a shame to receive such awful service from a place that is apparently so highly rated. We’ve been there twice now and thought the first time was maybe a one off bad customer experience but it was reconfirmed on our second visit. So much for a pleasant brunch experience in an otherwise charming venue.

Had a great meal. The crepe/pancake was full of Asian flavours and was delicious. The meringue lemon pancake looked amazing.

Padbury's service is usually very good but today its been over an hour before we got our food and the table next to us sat down after us and has received their food before us. They are a table of 4 and we are a table of 2. They seem to be very understaffed and the restaurant is not that full. Food wasn't that good either, poached eggs were very cold and the hash brown was hot. I won't be back as wasn't worth waiting 1.5hrs for.

I want to rate this higher and I'm going to give it another shot in the future (3rd time) to see if things have changed. Wish they would simply hire more staff or time limit the seatings.

Came here on the way to Whiteman Park using the Entertainment Book and was very impressed. Two of us had the prawn pasta which was really good, with just the right amount of chilli. The coffees were great too!

I went for lunch today and was very disappointed. The wait staff were pleasant and competent but the food took over half an hour to come out. I had the prawn omelette with crispy pancake and chilli jam. The omelette was delicious but the pancake was inedible- hard, impossible to cut and smelled strongly of rancid oil. When the waitress cleared the table I told her this, she apologised and said she would tell the kitchen. I knew the place closed at 3.00 so at 2.10 I called the waitress over and asked for the menu. She told me that the kitchen was closed except for drinks. Very disappointing that I wasn’t told in advance that the kitchen was about to close nor asked if we wanted dessert. Overall not the best experience.

Great breakfast very busy. Disappointed it is not open for dinner every night anymore. Recommend you book.

Very high quality CAFE! The coffee art is so amazing that makes me feel good mood all day, pancakes are good, hash is perfect.never had so special feelinng before.will definitely come back again and again!

The famous pancake is so delicious, lives up to its fame! So many menu items to choose from, they sound yum too, would like to try them all. Nice atmosphere with old school items on display.
Very busy on the weekend, book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Ps. Parking can be tricky

A real gem that we have stumbled onto - great service and friendly staff. Meals are real nice - the location is nice with parking a premium - the venue is just delightful. Meal are priced a little high so really average for the area. Wine list is not great but I would say a little over priced for what’s on it. I suggest the Fermoy wines on the list. Will go again. My wife’s pork belly was the bomb.

We won’t be going back to this restaurant for dinner ever again! Arrived at 7: 30pm, drinks took 20 minutes to get, ordered appetisers and main meals at the same time. Apps came about another 20 minutes later. That wasn’t a problem, we understood they were busy.
But when a table of 4 came in 40 minutes after us, and had 2 rounds of drinks and their main meals served, we were now very upset!
Now they tell us that what we had ordered was now not available. They had run out! That was the last straw! It was 9: 45pm now. So we just decided, that’s it……we are going to pay for drinks and apps and leave.
Unfortunately this has left a very bad flavour in our mouths. The evening was ruined. And this was to be a special evening, marking an end to an era! We are so very disappointed!
I do not recommend this restaurant at all!

Good place for breakfast. Clean and spacious. Service good. The egg Benedict I had was a bit of a disappointment - the eggs was not runny and not enough hollandaise sauce.

Lovely place. Really quick service, yummy breakfast & coffee. Would also highly recommend their raspberry tarts! Don't let the queues put you off, waited for 10 minutes. The tables inside need to be booked, but it's very pleasant outside. Costumer carpark next door and my favourite thing, they serve your coffee with your breakfast!

Food was great - the lemon meringue pancakes were worth the trip. Was very busy and took ages to get water for the table and the coffees but wouldn't stop me from going back.
