Padbury's Cafe Restaurant reviews
62Always a wonderful experience.fresh, hot and tasty.the potato Hash is awesome.pancakes stunning. Coffee excellent. Highly recommended
Cute little cafe. On the more expensive side but food and service were great.
Pretty crowded inside though.
I used to love this restaurant so much. Food is not yummy anymore.: (took my mom to eat with high expectations as we used to come a lot in the past. I always ordered linguine but this time the sauce is not right and the pasta was not as expected. My mom ordered barramundi and fish which didn't taste fresh and the batter is didnt taste right either. Eventhe chips were dry, tasted like they were dried in old oil. My partner ordered the hash brown dish which was really oily, but the poached eggs were good. And so were the drinks. Overall, we use to love this place however after today's experience we won't be back again, sadly.
Pancakes where next level delicious. Service was so great. Cannot fault it and definitly will be back soon.
Padbury's is a favourite of ours. Recently refreshed, it has lost none of the character of the building. The food is always good, typical Perth prices mean value for money is why it is four stars not five. The Guildford location gives it that extra advantage. You are on the doorstep of the hills, the Swan Valley and not far from Perth.
Tried to book by calling their number five times on a Sat Eve when they were open, no answer so then went to book online to be told via email the following day that my booking was not confirmed and to call the restaurant. Still no answer so subsequently then text the mobile number about booking, still waiting for a reply. So disappointed, I will not recommended this restaurant as the service or lack off is not promoting of this restaurant at all.
Perfect for sunday brunch catch up with friends! The magic mushrooms dish was scrumptious and generously served.only recommendation would be to have table serve because there are long waits when lining up to order when it’s busy
A slightly rustic atmosphere with a country feel, food was average but the staff were excellent.
Delicious food and the customer service is exceptional!
I ordered a chai latte and by mistake I was given a hot chocolate. Once I explained the waitress what happened, she apologised, checked the docket and without delay prepared a chai latte for me.
Great service and seating, the food we had was pretty good but the menu is very small for breakfast, would like to soon omelette and choice of just bacon an eggs with toast, can't have everything I suppose.
Disappointing…. Standing in front of door waiting for the seat around 5 mins, was not a busy time, 2~3 staff seeing us and no one came, just keep cleaning table, even still enough table for the waiting customers. Also hard to call them when wanna ordering food, that just focus on the other things instead of customers.
We ordered crispy crepe, hash and pancake. Hash was nice but the crispy for the crepe was overcook, hard like a stone Not crispy, pancake was not good as the first time we visited….
Really bad experience, regret to recommend this cafe to friends before
I’d heard a lot about this Cafe, maybe my expectation was too high, we’d ordered pancake but the pancake was too sweet to finish it by two of us. Staff were nice and polite and the cafe itself was beautiful
From the moment we arrived we were greeted, the service and food was AMAZING! Coffee was hot and the soufflé pancakes are a must! One our fav breakie spots for sure.
Busy place so be prepared - book a table, promptly place your order on arrival & move on so others can enjoy too. It’s busy for a reason - delightful service & food. As a lemon Meringue lover, Pancakes are the best I’ve ever had.
Once again Padburys Didn't let us down and apart from the garlic bread. Not sure on the take on this one. Not what our table would call garlic bread. More garlic buns that needed more cooking
Great barramundi dish with great taste.
The lamb shank just fell off the bone, cooked perfectly and brought out on warm plates which is a bonus on a cold night.
Wine and Watermelon martini set the night on the drinks.
Finished with deserts, Sticky dates and chocolate fondant.
The BEST food, every time, guaranteed. By far my favourite place to eat in Perth. And always consistently excellent. Great service too. (That Padbury’s hash. MMMMM!)
Very busy.good food.only comment all my groups poached eggs were cold. Obviously precooked but not reheated enough. Food came out very quick, probably why. Didn't complain, though.
1000% recommend the pancakes. Absolute sugar overload, but totally worth it. Tastes amazing. Wish I could have ordered more but was absolutely stuffed after this.
Oh my gosh! The food wa so good, I can’t believe I waited so long to try it. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff were all friendly and the food was PERFECT
A very popular place now compared to when it first opened, good reliable service friendly accommodating staff and the meals we had were well prepared, presented and tasty. We sat outside and found it roomier but noisier what with aircraft and traffic, otherwise pleasant.
