Dôme Café - Rottnest

I am NEVER coming back here or to ANY other Dome. I have been to others too and they are all the same. Overpriced food, paid $21 for a “big” vegetarian breakfast with bad quality items, some items missing, small quantity of food for the price. The spinach looks like from 3 days ago a bit rotten. Coffee Cold. It’s a shame I cannot give 0 stars. The guy at the counter to order the food was a bit intimidating and not much patience. Me and my hubby paid $50 for non filling meals. Very disappointing.

This Dome cafe is a lesson on how you can rip off tourists and make $. Friday 25 Oct 2019. Ordered two flat white coffees and their large breakfast. Coffees came out cold and weak. Had to go back in and have them replaced with hotter and stronger coffee. Then came back to discover breakfast came with the advertised hash brown missing.

Sat 26 living in hope tried again. Ordered vegi breakfast with extra sausages (advertised with 2 for $5.15). And bacon. Two coffees as well. Meal comes with one sausage and cold coffee again. Ordered serving of toast (advertised with two slices, came with one).
Asked for an extra plate and then they went to charge me $5.50 for it.
Just hope the staff are not being ripped off as well as the customers.

Lovely cafe with reasonable prices & variety on the menu. I really enjoy my seafood basket. Also got a little qoakka visited at my table.

Tasted cold was bad service, except this one employee who was trying to help find the manager but couldn’t understand our English apparently there was no manager on sight. Disgusted, only negative thing about Rotto.

Great location. Experience ruined by poor customer service, not a great example to show our guest from America what hospitality in Rottnest is like.

If not being greeted by the floor staff that walked by us as we walked in wasn’t bad enough. We were cut off multiple times while being served - I started ordering with a drink & the lady was far too eager to have us on our way with every item after that.

When our 2 scones arrived 5 minutes after our “20 minute wait” stated by the staff, they were horribly hard, burnt on the outside & doughy on the inside.

The counter lady also didn’t put the correct table number on our American friend’s drinks & she waited 15 minutes for a glass of wine.

We overheard another table complain of an hour wait for something they were told would be a 40 minute wait, then they found out it wasn’t even ordered. Extremely disappointing, won’t be back at this Dome.

A lot of this is clearly an issue with the management of this branch. Dome should be investigating why it’s run so poorly.

Worst meal ever full breakfast no sausage when served bacon cold as it came out of the fridge sent meal back looked like it was reheated never using dome again

Waited 20mins in line to order. 45min wait and still no lunch! Time now is 1.45pm
How hard is it to make calamari and salmon?
Dome you need more staff!

My breakfast was not filling very small for a breakfast did not get my tomato as it was in the photo only got 3 very small mushrooms was more in the picture I am not going there again what a RIP off
