Dôme Café - Rottnest

Dome Cafe on Rottnest Island was very nice. Views of the beach, nice Hot coffee and breakfast food was delicious

Today we dined in for breakfast and I must say we won't be returning! What was advertised on menu was nothing like what was served. We ordered 2 Potato Rosti dishes: one with salmon and the other with bacon and shared the bacon & salmon. Barely any food on the plates! We had to go to another shop to have a complete meal. Good food and service. However the crows kept coming into the outdoor seating area to try to get some food which is quite annoying. Perhaps some additional measures can be taken to prevent such incursion of the crows. Free tap water is served here. The menu is kind of overpriced though.

Few mistakes after ordering, wrong coffee delivered only one big breakfast arrived, problem rectified, however.both sausages were cold and the rest of the breaky was just warm.disappointed.this is always our first port of call when we arrive. Wait staff were very helpful.

Service was soooo bad! Two staff members arguing with each other, one was make coffee the other was “serving” customers. She would in the middle of serving someone start arguing back at the other lady. This was so uncomfortable. I felt rushed when ordering my food and drinks. Sitting inside and it was fine one minute next they were arguing again. All about what seemed like what time people for finishing or leavening and coming back. I don’t think that needs to made so public.
I feel sorry for the other staff!

Poor service and putrid coffee! Nothing positive to say about this place, except location. The below average reviews represent this establishment well.

Arrived at Rotto early in the morning.
Saw that Dome Cafe was open so we wandered in for breaky.
They serve the whole menu all day which was great cos I didn't feel like breakfast food.
The food tasted okay, prices a little expensive (but I guess that's cos it's rotto) and the service was friendly.
My only small complaint is that it was absolutely freezing inside. We all had big jackets on and we were still cold.

Terrible customer service, broken off from eating to rectify an error made by the staff. Supervisor with no authority to offer options, poor.

Good food, quick service and beautiful view to the harbour! Manager and waitresses were very friendly and helpful.

A bit expensive but a decent meal! Would definitely go back on my next visit

Unbelievable that, in the peak season, told that kitchen is closed at 230pm! What a great service on special Rottnest island. And not even a sign to that effect. Is this a waste of valuable Class A reserve resources? Would other businesses run these hours?

Food was okay. Orders got delivered with incorrect requests and had to be corrected. Prices were pretty high.

That was the best sliders I had ever had in my life. Perfect size. It had this beautiful slow cooked pork

Visited Dome And Customer Service was ridiculous. It looks like person on the counter was Racist & she doesn't know how to take order.
Manager was very polite and he addressed our complaint Nicely.
Food was good.

Pretty poor quality breakfast and service. Egg was not cooked properly replacement never arrived. Overpriced, eat elsewhere.

Over rated! My tea pot spout wasn’t clean, was out of the healthy juices and had rude staff that seemed like they didn’t even want to be there and serve me. Food and drinks was average.

Bad service couldn’t order properly not well trained, fish had a smell don’t expect fresh fish but definitely don’t want to eat bad outdated food.insect ON THE SALAD didn’t ask for a new one but very disappointed, had to go to toilet for many times (diarrhoea)

Dome cafe is beautiful at Rotto! My favourite probably! Unfortunately I forgot my blue hooded body suit there a few weeks ago, which I really loved. I would love if I can get it back.

When you visit Perth your welcomed with Dome frequently. My shock when I figured that out and also to find it on an island. Not that this is an issue as they deliver yummy meals.there was a feeling of meh but im not sure if it's a casual atmosphere they are portraying but it has great views thanks to the island. Overall a great dinning experience.

Was there around 10.30am in winter and place was pretty empty. Quick service and my takeaway order of two coffees and a box of chips was within 15mins.
