Dôme Café - Rottnest

Came in for coffee at 2pm and staff said take away coffee only but we could have it there, not served and a staff member swearing loudly that there was customers to serve so we kept girl staff member was embarrassed and apologised to us.
Not good enough!

Great place to get out of the wind. Nice menu, well priced. Staff young, but friendly. Manager doing a great job. Had a quick chat. All good. Would visit again.

Do not go there! The restaurant was dirty and the staff rude! Very disappointing. Could not even get the order correct.

Great food and amazing service.
Every time we are on Rottnest, we go for lunch t Dôme and have the best time. The food is outstanding and the staff is really friendly and attentive. It does feel like being on holidays. Such a relaxed atmosphere!

Really enjoyed the BLT and the scrambled eggs. A much needed coffee before heading around the island.

Arrived with my partner 1 hour prior to closing time for a quick afternoon coffee only to be told by a staff member that they had closed due to it being quiet. We advised we would get a take away, however was told 'sorry we've packed everything up'. Very disappointing when a place chooses its own hours.

They underpaid they staff, they don’t want to play penalty rates, overtime, manager abusive with the staff that is why they change staff every week

I ordered the mushrooms on toast, would have to be the worst one I have ever had. The toast was huge, took up the whole plate, it was covered with the most limp green salad, would have been the whole lettuce. A few mushrooms sat on top with feta cheese. Nothing was fresh, just dreadful. The stars are for the coffee which was fine. I did mention this to the young chap collecting the plates to pass onto the kitchen staff.

Terrible experience! Dirty plates - husband lost his appetite. My burger arrived one hour later (and 30 minutes after everyone else’s food), I was so hungry and really disappointed when I saw they got my order wrong, I asked for a refund but received a take away burger instead. Manager agreed to give me a refund but waiter behind the till thought that I could only receive one or the other! Manager, please grow a pair and stop taking orders from your staff! You’ll never see us again!

Stood there waiting while staff talked & had no urgency to fill orders. I was waiting for 15 minutes for a shake with no one else waiting on

Food was very fast. Explains probably why it was so bad, $26 for burger and chips. Burger was horrible chips were just basics.

Dome at Rottnest the food was nice and of ample size, well cooked not raw and the coffee was great.
My kids loved it and there chocolate shakes.
Was a little pricey but that's to be expected at Rottnest?

Worst breakfast I’ve ever had and the most expensive! Had to send back because the toast, bacon and eggs were cold. The Avocado was brown… they remade it and it was pretty much just as bad… will never eat at Dome again

20 minutes to make an apple juice and 2 milkshakes, almost like moving in slow motion. The extra scoop of icecream didnt make it very thick. But the flavour was good

Good cafe and really well set out. The food is ok but not great, salad dressing is gross and over powering and the winter soups are over salted and very plain. The staff are welcoming and polite.

Group of 10 of us here for breakfast on Rotto. Menu is the same price as perth which is great. Food was quick and delicious. Very friendly man taking the orders, even allowed me to order two things not on the menu!

Absolutely atrocious. Multiple requests to get our table cleared ignored, multiple other tables stacked high with dirty plates & cups. Toilets disgusting, waste paper baskets overflowing, toilet paper scattered on the floor in the cubicles. All this at 1100 on a Monday morning. Staff uninterested & basically don’t care. Sad that Dome have allowed this venue degrade so much. On the positive side food & coffee was ok.

Just awful. Had tea. Jam on outside of teapot and soggy sugar wrapper in bottom of cup. Nearly vomited. Toilets pooey and shredded loo roll everywhere. This was at 11am so clearly not cleaned from night before. When I alerted the manager he ignored me and then when cornered he blamed the customer s saying ' what are the ladies doing in there'? Did not take me seriously. Was rude an dismissive. Then of course there is the constant jazzz

Sadly like discovery, breakfast was cold, when ordering hot breakfast usually what one gets served

Walked in after a big day cycling at 2.05 pm to be told the chef decided to close the kitchen early that day, only takeaway drinks available despite people being in the restaurant and more arriving, wonder if the owner/franchise knows that happens?
