86My wife was here for her PDA. We have been to other DOTs but our best experience was with DOT midland. The assesor here are very professional and have an element of humanity which unfortunately others specially at Mirrabooka lack. I hope the big wigs at DOT would bring other centres and the staff working there at the same level of professionalism as those working in this centre. Keep up the good work guys!
This branch is generally less busy than than other DoT branches I have visited so waiting times are less. Staff at the entry are helpful and friendly and there is nearby parking. As far as having to visit a DoT branch is concerned, this one is comparatively a hidden gem.
Always very clear directions on what to do to achieve your goal, from the second you walk in the door. Always a good idea to bring a book or headphones though! The waiting time can't be avoided, so use it wisely.
Seriously! You ask everyone to queue up outside in rain wait for your turn to come in? When asked whether we can stand inside as it is raining heavily you should have got an umbrella you guys are disgraceful you have senior citizens lining up waiting in rain. 2 sqm rule oh yeah! We respect social distancing and everything as put in but this is insane.
I don't think I could have had a better experience getting my RE licence if I tried. My assessor was amazing.
Thank you
Worst place to go! No experience, Staff don't know what they can do or not.
They need more training! And better customer service manners!
There is no commonsense anymore.wake up people's the public are paying you lots off money.everything is over the top and uncomfortable.
Good experience. The attention was fast and helpful. Rod was my PDA assessor and was very kind and helped me relax through the test. Overall the other assessors seemed quite friendly and helpful with people who were taking the PDA.
I didn't pass today, but my assessor Tex was still lovely and patient and judged my performance fairly. After the test he thoroughly explained to me what I did wrong, and also explained some of the road rules and why they're in place, so I had a full understanding as to why I didn't pass. He didn't make me feel silly like my previous assessor did, and he obviously cared for me as a novice driver trying to achieve their provisional liscence. Thank you)
Went in there today to go get my Learner's License test booked in. The lady greetinggre the front is very polite & helpful but the lady called 'Chioma' of African descent has a rude attitude, rolled her eyes at my questions without taking the time & kept rubbing her eyes like she's tired. Nobody's perfect but a disgusting unhelpful attitude isn't at all going to help, and now I still have to go back and get what I need done.
Learners/experienced drivers pass PDA after 3 or 4 attempts in general due to reasons in all shapes and sizes being not enough shoulder check, too much shoulder check, parking to close to the curb and etc. I don't understand how do these affect your driving.
The front desk was very knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble with all of the questions I had. I highly recommend this office.
Knowing that the staff would cop a lot of abuse, I made a point of being extremely courteous. This woman was extremely rude and was not listening to what I was trying to say. Definitely just felt like a number to be hurried along.
COURTESY WORKS BOTH WAYS SWEETHEART!
Even thought I failed my test, the instructions were clear and the instructor took time to go through what I did wrong.
Much nicer than it used to be. Comfortable waiting area without the constant dinging for numbers of the old set-up.
Rude staff.worst place to book your PDA they fail you on very small mistakes just to make money very unprofessional.
Its the worst place to get your licence, the staff are horrible old farts and they will most likely fail you until the 3rd or 4th try. My Personal experience was with a driving assessor that is know by Ant, he is a burden on society.
I needed to change my address details, didn’t appreciate it being shouted out 3 times.still have to wait for it to arrive by mail, even though I was there in person.
Wait time was ok around 20 minuets. However i was served by Rosmary who was the rudest woman I have encountered in a long time. If you are unable to put your game face on and be polite even if your day is terrible please don’t work in customer service. Have lodged a formal complaint about this woman and they way she spoke to me.
Passed my PDA today!
Thanks to Liz at Ellenbrook Driving Lessons and Mike (961) it has taken me 5 shots over 5 years to pass. Mike was fantastic! Spoke to me the whole time, which helped with my nerves. Best Assessor Ever!
