86 Quick and polite customer service considering how many people are waiting.
Will gladly return.
Tell me they have nothing to do with what's on their own website? No help what so ever!
Absolutely terrible place.
Over 100 people crammed in at the busy time, no care for covid safe practices for the public.
Went in a applied to have interstate license transfered. Told it takes a few days to contact the issuing state for confirmation. Got the call everything is in order and to just bring my ID in to complete the transfer, only to drive 30 minutes to the destination then wait 30 minutes to be told I should have bought all my required documents again. After I was specifically told twice they weren’t necessary.
I’ve now lost 3 hours of my life and 2 days of work trying to get this sorted.
Thanks guys!
Seriously how hard is it to prove that your daughter lives at the same residential address as what is listed on the parents driver's licence? Had to go to her school to get a letter with her residential address that I told them with just to prove it! Why?
Went here for my PDA and passed, had a nice lady named Heather who was very calm when giving me directions. Would highly recommend for anyone doing their PDA here
The lady’s attitude is impatient, very bad, I asked sth but she replied “I don’t care”
bad experience?
Son got an instant fail for apparently slightly cutting a corner and instructor grabbing the steering wheel, which freaked him out. Think she needs the driving lesson. He thought she was going to crash them both. Didn’t know why she was grabbing the wheel. He’s an excellent driver. She was rude from the start. She said he was very confident. Think she knew from the start she was going to fail him.
It always fails me as to why the wait is so long, the customer service part of the equation never improves so I'm guessing this government department simply gives very little regard to the public.
Maybe more of the money from our regos should be spent on reducing 2hr wait times, simply to swap number plates. Alternatively make more services available online.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! Took my brother in for a driving test he had it booked a month back. He got a confirmation message the day before and when we went on the day they told us it’s canceled. The instructor had Covid which was a completely valid reason and they told me that a cancellation message was sent to which my brother showed his phone and told him we didn’t receive anything. But we were fine with this too since maybe the system had a glitch etc. We don’t live anywhere near midland and so we drove an hour an a half for nothing. The only reason I found the service terrible was that the man behind the counter never apologised once. He made it seem like it was our fault and he didn’t have the courtesy to find any solution. He basically said can’t do anything see ya!
Went in for my motorcycle learners permit and was very happy with the service.
Quick, efficient, and friendly from the moment I walked in the door.
Granted I did go in during a relatively quiet time, but during a busy period I've never waited more than 20 minutes.
Would recommend:)
Quick and easy! The staff are lovely and helped calm my nerves when I was going for my Learner's Permit. And when I passed, they made sure to let me know their congratulations. Awesome place, I would unequivocally recommend over any other place.
I was on my way to do my pda test I was like 1min late and they said that It was to late for me to do it I have to book it again the short fat lady was so rude I basically on time
Not sure what to to say. The staff seemed nice enough from a distance. The guy at the door seemed to know what he was about. When I was served (returning a license plate) the woman I spoke to called me 'young man', which struck me as conspicuous, then kept telling me that I'd have to pay a fine at the courthouse for not bringing it in earlier, like she was trying to put the fear of God in me, you know? Bizarre, and also not even true: I just paid it online, but I could have done so over the phone or by post. I think someone's gone to a lot of effort to make this place run smoothly, and wonder if this particular staff member hasn't gotten the memo.
Worst place to do a PDA. My wife had a worse experience today from one of the assessor who shouted in between the assessment. People do make mistake and I understand they are authorised to fail our test and we do agree to it. It was not even an major mistake. During a plain road and around an intersection where the other party has to do a stop sign where my wife can do on straight road. She slowed down even though she can go straight with stopping or slowing down. But she was keep on moving. The lady instructor starting shouting what the hell and why did you slow down over there and further more in a rude way and came back to the original location. We understand you can fail our test. But shouldn’t disrespect us while we come down for the test. Unprofessional people over there. Never going to visit them again. We have many more test centre around. Recommend 0 rating to these guys and even a negative scorings if available.
Was wanting to hand in personalised plates and get standard ones as selling the car was turned away at the door for technical issues. I then asked if I was able to have rego papers printed and was told no. Apparently their system has been down for 2 days and people can't even pay their rego! Ridiculous make everything online so we can't even do anything when their system crashes.
Wished there was a 0 star rating, i had my pda yesterday in a manual and the lady i had was a middle aged British lady she was rude from the moment she seen me.nit picked at the smallest things in my car before we left then while i was driving was a arrogant and disrespectful person, she also failed me for putting my car in the wrong gear out of nerves but realising and changing straight away.would not recommend going there at all for your pda if you want to be told everything you did wrong and nothing you did right, try hold off and find a better place to sit it.
I did my test a couple of months ago and I failed, today I went in and passed my drivers test. I want to thank Tex for being so awesome and making me feel relaxed. I have extreme anxiety but I felt really comfortable with him, he spoke with me and we had a fun conversation. Overall I enjoyed my test and thanks to myself for doing everything correctly. Passed with only 2 small mistakes which Tex didn’t think we’re too major
Daughter failed her test today. As per normal, instructor was proved wrong but no recourse. They are a law unto themselves
It was my centre for giving driving test, though I failed because of the instructor had to intervene at a probably a dangerous situation.
I was simply amazed by the detailing of the whole testing exercise as explained to me. Tex was inspector/invigilator and the whole ride was just cruising and after the ride Tex explained me in detail everything about the ride, where I did mistake, what I need to improve upon, what I might be careful with. In all it was such an awesome test giving experience with Tex.
Should be there again for another test but I really appreciate the detailed feedback given and it would take a significant role in my driving skill.
