86Very efficient service. I had a complicated imported car and doing the transfers myself. All done with plates in around 10 minutes.
Unfortunately there is no 0 star options otherwise i would’ve pressed that.honestly the worst place you could possibly go to attempt your pdas.not only do 99% of the accessors nit pick everything & exaggerate everything in the feedback, they are blatantly rude.i got insulted the second i walked up the young blonde lady, unsure of name.the service is horrible, people walked by just looking at me & not coming to serve me at all.
Had Mark as my PDA assessor at Midland DoT, who was excellent. He was polite, great at calming nerves and was incredibly clear with his instructions, allowing me to fully concentrate on my driving. His attention to detail was great as well and he took the time to explain some of my minor faults.
The DoT as a whole is very organised and efficient. 5 stars.
Went in to get my licence photo taken and i was in and out within minutes, the lady at the front was super helpful and efficient. Ive never had problems when i come here. They move pretty quickly for a DOT
I was rather nervous being new to WA and there seemed to be a lot of paperwork and identification needed compared to other states I've lived in.
Thankfully I was attended by Nikki who was efficient, patient, helpful and friendly. Thanks Nikki! I now have my temporary licence.
Christener was very polite hand helpfull in helping me renew my lic after i had trouble with the online service
Went in to get replacement license. Was promptly attended and helped to get the correct form to fill while I waited for my turn. Busy facility and well organised along with ample of parking. Congratulations DoT and Midland branch team for their work.
Fantastic dot. Assessor Vick was fantastic and did his job to the highest of standards. He passed me even though I made a few mistakes which is how it should be. I definitely recommend others to do their PDA here and if you get Vick you are in good hands.
Assessors try to stamp their authority far too vigorously, don’t be fooled by their nice antics prior to the test. Be prepared to fail for very small errors. Only person that judges fair is Tex
Fantastic staff. A huge thank you to Heather and Lorraine (Branch Manager) for juggling appointments so my son could do his assessment. They went above and beyond. A great experience.
Don’t go here for you pda can’t stress this enough! Had a Horrible driving instructor Nit picking everything and being rude without “real” driving lessons they won’t pass you. Go to Kelmscott! Way better very polite, clear instructions and understanding about being nervous etc.don’t go to midland ️️
Short wait times, very friendly staff, nice new facilities, they took their time to explain my mistakes.
Friendly and efficient service. Helped to trouble shoot some problems. Much nicer staff than the city west office. Thank you
I had a really positive experience completing the learners theory test for my wife yesterday from all 4 of the different staff we dealt with here (my own fault not theirs that we had to speak with a few different people).
My wife doesn't speak perfect English and got a bit flustered and confused after her test and I stuffed up and didn't bring all the correct documents on the first go. We also had a toddler with us who was acting up at times. As customers go, we were probably very difficult, but all the staff we dealt with were helpful and professional at all times.
After we got all our documents in order on the second try (with good advice from the service desk), the person greeting and assigning tickets at the door remembered us and gave us somewhere quiet to sit with a priority ticket as they remembered we had been in an hour or so previously. We then saw the same person who advised us on sorting out the ID issue who also remembered us and was able to sort things out at lightning speed with the correct documents in hand.
This was easily the best experience I've had visiting a licensing centre and compared to others I have visited the level of service was exceptional.
Very bad customer service the lady at the counter one was very rude. We ran before we left because we wanted to make sure we could do this. The guy on the phone I spoke to was very helpful said we could do this. But when we went down the Midland office waited half an hour to be spoken to by a very rude lady who works there. Very disturbing behavior from one off your employees. I will never go to the dept of transport in Midland so disgusting
Every time I go here it’s about 45-60min visit.
They are so short staffed it’s a joke.
Gov run business should be more well setup to serve the people as we pay for it
I am so impressed by the staff, especially the two female staff professionals who looked after me with care and gentleness.
I am transferring my international driving license to WA. I went to my PDA test today and my assessor Tex was very professional and explained everything very detail. All his instructions was also very clear and he has excellent way to make you not feeling nervous or intimidating. I got my license today. And after went to DOT Midland twice. My previous assessor (sorry I can’t remember his name) also very professional and judged me fairly.
When I paid for my license, the lady who was served me also very nice and let me know everything I need to do as I change my name to marriage name.
Overall very happy with DOT Midland’s service. Keep the great works!
Went in to get my learner's permit. All the staff were very nice and helpful. The walked me through everything and for me in and out pretty quickly. There's a bit of a wait as is expected so bring something to occupy yourself with. I recommend going in the morning to avoid the lines.
If you get an assessor named Denis, you will be in good hands. My test was super chill with him and did wonders for my nerves. One of the best assessors I have dealt with
