Beckenham Medical Centre reviews
61A great doctors very kind and caring very understanding. And didn't have to wait long. Very happy with the services.
Super friendly and efficient staff. Love the HotDoc pre-screening form which meant I didnt need to fill in any paperwork as a new patient. Knowledgeable and friendly doctor as well.
"It is the best medical center. Dr. Zarif Chowdhury is an excellent doctor. I am satisfied with his behavior and treatment. The entire staff is very good. I will recommend Dr. Zarif Chowdhury for every visit. "
It was our first appointment with the center and first impression was very bad due to the attitude of the receptionist. We told her at the beginning this was our first appointment and she was very rude whole time and we depressed may be its due to our skin colour. With her way of talking to us we thought to cancel the appointment and find another because we went their to treat our 4 year old baby. We really felt mistreated and helpless they was she treated. A receptionist in health sector should treat the people coming to the clinic understanding that all kind o people need help when it come to the health.it was a very bad experience. I an posting this comment by thinking this will not happen to anyone else. Also I must say that doctors was very friendly and he treated us and our baby very friendly and kind manner.we are really happy about his service and treatment. He had no rush and treatment after full examination.
Staff are always friendly, it is nice when you know child feels safe and comfortable going to the doctors. Dr Palekar is very caring and always makes an effort to check how all our family members are no matter which of us has an appointment.
Dr. Carina is very kind and accommodating. Finally got a care plan to what i am going through. Reception is great easy booking and very efficient in follow ups. Highly recommended
I went there today after pharmacy said i have high blood pressure close to 200 than the lady at reception with glasses was looking upset some reason, she asked me whats wrong and i said i have got high blood pressure and coming from pharmacy, she said “ i can give you appointment for tomorrow!
Thanks for your advice and dont forget theres things that more important than your advise in this world! Idk how s she working at a medical centre! Im going emergency now anyway so as a patient
“you are not welcome to this medical house”
Thanks
Lots of free appointments, probably due to the rude receptionist, not surprised to see I'm not the only one who found her manner aggressive.
When I lost my temper with her poor manner she states " I was only joking with you"
Mocking sick people isn't funny and you are very likely to get an unfriendly response when you mock somebody who is in pain and in need of help.
Luckily I was able to book an appointment down the road, and guess what, they Accept digital ID from Medicare like every other doctor in Australia. And they were happy to assist.
Great medical centre was in and out without any dramas, they also had a very respectful team.
Very professional and pleasant practice. Dr Limgenco was extremely helpful with my queries.
The Staff at the Beckenham Medical Centre were very helpful and their customer service was beyond excellent!
Being my first visit at the Medical Centre, both the Office Manager 'Shabana' and the receptionist treated with me with utmost care and helped me with all clarifications that I had.
Dr. Tasnuva Tabassum was very caring and friendly to me ; she explained to me clearly on the medications that I need to take and all precautions to be followed, she did go an extra mile in helping me with all clarifications that I raised to her. Overall it's an excellent place to meet such good people who care for their patients.
It's a joke, I had pain in my mid-upper back and doctor wrote in the referral letter lower back XRAY, came to know this at radiology that your lower back x-ray I had explained to them it's wrong it suppose to be upper back.
The doctor even didn't examine me properly and I was so much in pain on the day.
Very disappointed won't go again. Will not recommend at all.
Dr Aqeelah Tabasum is amazing. Exceptionally caring and thorough in investigating the root cause of any issue and passionate about the physical and mental health of women. I would happily travel from afar if I had to, just to see her!
Going to give 3 stars. The doctor was great. Very good with our son but the receptionists on the 2 occasions I've been were some of the rudest I've came across. First time there were 2 women and the older of the 2 was very rude. When we came out from the appointment she was losing her temper with another guy in the waiting room. The second visit a different receptionist tutted and rolled her eyes at us and was very short when speaking to us.
I've seen a fair few reviews about he attitude of the receptionists on here. Maybe it's time they grew up and acted a bit more professionally and nicer towards patients.
We took our toddler here earlier this week and then again today. Both times, the receptionists were awful - downright rude, snarky and condescending. The first time we went this week, my husband got harshly kicked out as only one parent was allowed according to their rules. Our toddler became distressed when his dad was forced to wait outside. He cried and kept asking for his dad. I asked them if they could make an exception as it was quiet and my son was in distress. I was told no. The doctors make the rule. The older receptionist eventually gave in as my unwell son wouldn't stop. She told me rudely that my husband could wait inside and it was up to the doctor if he was allowed in. The doctor had no issues with us going in together. She was attentive and professional. Possibly one of the better doctors we've seen. By the time we were done, we were much calmer. We also witnessed that same older receptionist yelling at someone about his appointment details.
Today, different receptionist, same treatment. We got berated for being late. That was our fault yes but no need to be nasty about it. She rudely told us - only one parent allowed. I informed her that we had been in a few days ago and the doctor allowed both of us in. Surprise surprise, she rolled her eyes at us and said "fine. Just wow. You are grown women working in a professional environment, why do you behave worse than children?
The doctor is actually one of the better ones we've seen but the receptionists are enough to put us off returning. You aren't doing anyone any favors by sitting at your desk. You're doing your job! If the doctors set the rules why did it bother you both so much that the doctor made an exception for us? Perhaps you can learn empathy and compassion from the doctors you work with too. Or learn to smile and say hello at the very least. People don't go to the doctor for fun so having to deal with your unpleasantness certainly doesn't help. Doctors, please do something. No one should be made to feel unwelcomed when all they are doing is seeking help.
WORST RECEPTIONIST! The receptionist name with T is the horrible most person in the whole Perth. Always angry and shouting and very very very miserable misbehaving and unprofessional!
Who in earth yells on customers. It was a torture cell and literally my BP went up because of that horrific lady in front.
I’ve been a patient at this medical centre for over 4 years and before they stopped bulk billing for everyone except concession card holders, there used to be long wait times, because they were overloaded.
Let’s also consider the possibility that some patients book standard appointments, when they actually have a lot to discuss and should have booked a ‘long’ appointment. Even then, if you consider all the red tape and bureaucracy thats also involved, it can’t be easy to get everyone seen in the allotted time.
With everything that’s occurred over the last couple of years, the load that has been placed on all aspects of health care and the variety of patients from all walks of life and the issues they rock up with, I personally feel the doctors and staff do an amazing job. I would challenge those who complain to do better.
This is the Worst medical center in the world. I was bleeding totally they refuse to give me treatment. They said you don’t have booking and we don’t have any appointment left. If you are a health personnel its your responsibility to give the best you can, don’t say sorry we cant treat you.
Doctors were great during few visits.
The receptionist seems not polite and hospitable.
Doctors & staff are all very professional, caring and supportive with our Dr listening and providing the best options, plans available for us. We have and will continue to recommend the Beckenham Medical Centre to family and friends.
