Yarra Valley Lodge

What a beautiful picture perfect lodge. This place is so beautiful with the gorgeous gardens and wonderful views. The staff are very friendly and so helpful. The pool and sauna are great. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. My view from my window was wallabies eating the grass outside my room. I would definitely come back again.

Rooms were well presented and the atmosphere is amazing! Buffet breakfast was a treat as well. Kangaroos like to come out at night so just a heads up for those night owls returning after sundown!

Spent weekend here. I think they have great service and location- modest distance from Melbourne City. I loved the surrounding- green golf courses front view overlooking the river, peaceful and beautiful. I definitely visit the place again. A place of beauty and wilderness around. Took run in the morning on the walking trails, words can't explain how beautiful it looks.

This is a beautiful resort/lodge. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are well appointed with great bathroom products. Breakfast is great with plenty of selection. Music is inappropriate but a minor criticism. The golf course looks amazing and the walks and botanical gardens lovely. Kangaroos, wallabies ducks and native wildlife abound. It is close to wineries and fresh farm products an easy drive. The staff are very good, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Stayed a night before an event in Lilydale. Got to the Lodge just before 9pm and ordered Room Service. Meals were both beautiful and delivered very quickly. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was amazing.

We loved the spacious surrounds and walking trails. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.

Food was delicious, tea and coffee is free flowing and there was plenty to eat. Venue is a little drab.

Room was fantastic with a lovely garden view. Very polite and friendly staff, although there was a wait to be served at the bar as it was unmanned. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed here for a golf weekend and it was fantastic, staff were great and the property was in fantastic condition

Accommodation is in needs of desperate refurb. Inundated decor. Dirty pool and showers. Breakfast was average. Overdone croissants, poor choice of food and lack of variety. Very rude reception staff. Smell of cigarets smoking every where. Not again. Thanks.

Lovely king room, nicely furnished and fully functional bathroom with bath and shower. Located on a golf estate in the heart of the Yarra Valley.

Great environment. Rooms are laid out well. The closed community through the golf course makes for a great walking trail

Gimmicky food? I had lamb saddle that tasted like they were covered in soy sauce! Awful! Nice atmosphere and staff. Great place for views, but think twice about dinner reservations; restaurant is empty for a reason.

Warm reception, and even if the lunch room was uncomfortably cold. I like the self service coffee machine with my favourite soy milk

Stayed here for 3 days on the 6th to the 8th of April, stayed here for my sisters wedding, OK I'm going to be very honest about this place, the staff are very friendly but they need more stuff around when we went to the bar we have to keep buzzing to get some service and very disappointed when we turned up early in the day to check in we couldn't go and have a drink at the bar it was open at 4 p.m. So we had to go over to the members club so they lost our money because we had to go over to the members club and we could not even sit outside in the sun on the balcony because the doors where shut, the room was ok but very dirty on the table and very outdated, the thing that was very upsetting we got charged twice for a room and we didn't get our money back until 8 days we were very disappointed because when we called them they didn't seem to care and we had to call them they didn't even tell us about their problem with their card thing, i have to say for how much we had to pay for our rooms i was not happy, we will not return the only thing we loved about this place was the Kangaroos and the Beautiful lookouts to the valleys. Also we got charged $80 the room service that we didn't even get. Not a very relaxing time there

Nice place and kind staff. However, some rooms smell a bit like a mould and there seems to be some limitations with spa. Restaurant food is AMAZING. Improving cooperation with spa and smell of the rooms would be a HUGE improvement!

Lovely venue for a simple getaway, or a work function. Just a pity that I didn't get time to see all the amazing scenery!

We used Yarra Valley Lodge for a four day corporate event for 75+ members of our team. The staff at Yarra Valley Lodge were accommodating, efficient and professional. Over the quote and planning period of the event I dealt with both Melissa and Maggie, both were thorough, helpful and always quick to respond. During the conference, I had the pleasure of working with Riley, Birdgette, Donata and Delia - each were incredibly competent, friendly and professional in their approach and the level of service they provided. The food over the period was absolutely fantastic also.
My only complaint is that I didn't get enough time to explore and enjoy the amazing surroundings due to work requirements!

Excellent service, lovely room and the toiletries are gorgeous. Very happy with our 4 night stay, would definitely visit again. Loved the breakfast and our walk on the local trails.

Location is wonderful set on two golf courses with very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Breakfast is great with all you can eat!
