Not good as expected. Only 3 out of 10 people in from workig. Came early morning and still waited 3 hours before my turn. They think that people are free as same as in india. Moreover, the parking around the premises is only for an hour and have to change parking spot again and again

In 2022, their process is more ridiculous than ever. I have to say that if you have all your documents, the experience is a bit bearable. The root cause of the problem is all Immigration centre outsource or hire or train poorly and communication to the ground team is therefore terrible. The frontline team gets bombarded with this all the time. Management is at fault. Let's face it, people generally have more bad experience than good when it comes to immigration.
The poor security guy has to be the one doing everyone's job, like handing out your passports, checking your paperwork etc. Ummm, he should be paid more because pretty sure that is not in his JD. If he gets angry, because he has to deal with all that subsequent bs/ follow up questions from applicants and not get paid for it.
For one, the place has to be bigger. There are only like 3 poeple max in there for biometrics. You and like 30 others queue up outside (in the common 'hallway') when you collect your passport (no instructions, no signage whatsoever). Who is first, second or 30th, up to the security to decide based on passports handed to him. There are maybe 3 people working inside, but perhaps only 2 working (at most) at one time. The UK high commission should revist the whole process because it is embarassing.
So far no loss passport or doc sent to a different place yet. I had a gentleman waiting in front of me who waited for more than 7weeks for his wife's passport, after many exchanges with security, he was told the wife has to pick up in Sydney because the passport was sent there (he had to fly for his father's funeral). I mean, common, that is just ridiculous. No accountability and as all suggested here, no way to comunicate with them.
I only gave them a bearable 3 stars because I like that security guard. Someone give him more money and a medal, or better yet, juse offer him a different job. I could see him as Guilermo (for Jimmy Kimmel)

They don't answer any phone calls, it just goes to complete silence without hanging up. The staff working there are some of the rudest people I've ever met.

Worst service ever- their phone line doesn't work and the email address given on the page also doesn't work.
I had given my child's passport for renewal and didn't get any acknowledgement email. Can't even book an appointment since Covid.
Twitter and other social media platforms are pretty much useless.
Got the renewed passport after 2 months and in the interim had tried contacting them through different platforms and didn't get any response at all.

Hetal was very helpful in submitting my application. Although I got few details wrong, she was patient enough to let me fill the form again and accepted my application without going through the waiting queue again.

There is no way to get in touch with them after you submit your passport. All you have is endless waiting and now is the 7th week for my case. What’s more is that I purchased the UKVI email service and found out that my application was completed within the first week from my appointment. And now I’m still waiting for my passport back:) How RIDICULOUS!

I would like to give a five star for the service I received from the VFS global. I had an appointment last day for getting PCC for my PR paper work. I was bit worried before going after seeing all the negative reviews and feedback. But in my personal experience I received a good service from them. They helped me for getting my paper works filled us I was not sure with some of the answers and staffs were very polite and welcoming. Also VFS global have services available for taking passports size photos (18 $ for 4 photos) and taking print outs.

The security guard us a very nice guy, makes the whole process a bit more bearable.
As long as you have all your documents and tick the necessary boxes, you'll be fine.

My one gripe with VFS is that everything is a money grab and an upsell.
$3.00AUD to receive a text message update when your visa is approved.
$12.00AUD to pick up your passport during their business hours.
The lost goes on.

Security guard was the only helpful person there, but their processes and extra charges are ridiculous.

It says UK visa number but can’t contact, if someone knows the number please let us know. On the time of payment we have to pay heft fees and we are getting worst service. No communication no response our whole plan is affected just because nobody from UK vfs provides info and we have done all our bookings. It’s just a visit visa and it’s taking more than 7 weeks, ridiculous.

They’ll waste your time, despite their opening hours saying 9-3pm they shut at 12, they’ve got staff around but they won’t give you your documents.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. It’s illegal to retain your identity (passport) this process should not be like this. Why did they even make us pay an amount of money if there not even way to get hold from anyone. We can’t speak to a real person with real answers. They sent my passport somewhere else where I don’t even know and they don’t tell you anything, there’s no way of tracking this process, there no contact number, all our plans have changed because of this and they say they don’t even have any information at this place where they took my biometrics. It’s just a tourist visa. This doesn’t make any sense. It’s unfair and unethical.

Really looking for a substantial answer rather than an auto response for all the queries, which is not at all helpful. Been trying to contact the helpline as well, number is always busy, leaving us helpless.

VFS Centre where you have submitted the application: VFS global - Melbourne, Australia

Type of application applied: Indian Police clearance

I don’t understand as the process of physical verification was done in India a month and half ago.

There’s no timeframe mentioned here as to when's the expected date of completion. It’s been almost more than 65 days now since I’ve sent in my application to VFS global Melbourne.

I have to get my medicals soon and want to travel overseas as well. How long do we have to wait for? And especially - because the passport is with you guys?

Trying to call VFS global Melbourne everyday and it's always busy.

I've even reached out to Videsh Bhavan, Ministry of External Affairs in India and they have said they have processed my application from their end.

Awaiting an answer.

Their service is unbelievable. Their website mention book appointment online but no available times. And they never pickup the call. I even emailed them like 10 days ago not even a reply. I understand they are busy but still need to make sure everyone is treated right. In the previous reviews they mentions contact them thru twitter or Facebook
May I know what's the Facebook id? REPLY PLEASEEEEEEEE
