Best hairdresser in Melbourne. Danny Puopolo has done my hair several times and he is AMAZING! He is exceptional with colour and I can honestly say my hair has never looked better after being done by Danny. I'm Sydney based but take any opportunity to get in there when I am in Melbourne. Highly recommend the salon and especially Danny - if you can get in to see him! Best to book in advance if you can as they are very popular with many loyal, repeat customers.

I will just say this “ my hair is ruined “. I can’t leave the house. Everything has gone wrong. My hair turned orange from your salon. It’s very clear that many people are in happy but it also seems the last few 5 star reviews have been written to cover up the bad reviews. It’s very clear that this salon is just a show pony

The whole experience on finding this outstanding salon was awesome from 1st extremely satisfied long term customers I met & spoke with on their way out. They each had gorgeous different styles. So in I went with more confidence to request my interview plan on how/what.they could do to improve my style. Lucky I scored the most talented hairdressor Maddie who transformed my long hair, so much gratitude girl. See you again for colour Maddie. Amazing experience at Rakis on Collins! Chris is absolutely amazing and cut and styled my hair perfectly! It was my first time to the salon and also coming from interstate I was made to feel very welcome and had a fabulous time. The salon is so full of energy and I had an absolute ball. I've been going to Rakis for over a year now, and each time I feel so loved when I walk in the door. They've perfected my blonde hair, and Rolf does an amazing job during each session. I look forward each time for my appointment, I feel pleasant, happy and not anxious to discuss what I want to do with my hair. I love them so much, and the city vibe just makes it extra special when getting your hair done!

I have been going to Rakis now for over a year and I absolutely love going. I am always made to feel welcome and I love the energy of the room. Alex has been cutting and colouring my hair and I always leave with a smile on my face and an extra bounce in my step.

I would highly recommend this place as my hair was amazing.
After 12 mths of bleaching my hair and destroying it, A big thank you to Maddi, it is now the colour and tone i was after and looking healthy and amazing.
