Hi I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Christina, Dimitri (the cute one) and team for making me so welcome at the salon.
The blow dry was amazing and did get me the upgrade. Whoo hooo. Great team, great atmosphere

I got my hair done a few months ago by Kieran, firstly my hair went dark orange and brown at the ends when I wanted a full head highlights to be blonde and then they fixed it for free but still not the blonde I wanted and had to re bleach those ends so they’re very frazzled.
Rakis reached out after this and then Stella fixed my hair (for free again) She did an amazing job at getting all the orangey colour out and cut the dead bits as well as treatments to repair any bleach damage. Now a nice bright blonde colour, Very happy thanks.

I just had a beautiful hair corrector done here by Terri. I had dyed my hair blonde that went a pale orange. They managed to fit me in the next day, and Terri did an amazing job of covering my unwanted colour.

The end result was a darker tone that still looked natural, complimented my pale skin tone and did not dry out my hair. I have had lots of compliments on the new colour.
The staff here are all very friendly, and attentive. The price was very reasonable for what I received. I will definitely be back

I went in with a terrible home dye job and Stella absolutely transformed me! Beautiful scalp bleach followed with a lovely pastel pink toner. I couldn’t be happier, the whole team was amazing. Fantastic experience, absolutely amazed at what Stella was able to accomplish!

I am extremely upset with the haircut I received from Madu. Her service was very unprofessional - she flicked hair roughly onto my face, tugged my hair extremely hard and hit me in the face several times during my appointment. As if this wasn't bad enough, the cut looked nothing like what I asked for despite showing a photograph. It has shattered my confidence leaving me in tears at home after I realised that she has destroyed my hair. I told her I only like my hair straight (so she curls it at the end of the appointment) and asked for light layering at the ends with photo examples and now my hair is extremely choppy with "layers" beginning above shoulder length and it looks horrible. I am not sure if she is only a junior hair stylist but I would not recommend her at all.

I had a colour correction performed today by Terri. She adjusted my accidentally dark, espresso brown fringe to match my natural ashy brown length. There were bleach foils under the darker dye too and in one hour Terri had perfectly corrected the tones - and kept my hair feeling in great condition. She also did the service for me at a very affordable rate. She's got great skills and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. The owner Stavros is also warm and completely chamring. Lovely salon.

Lovely salon that always feels comfortable, and Aron is a delight. Huge range of Shu Uemura products, never feel like I'm being upsold, but when I have bought products they've been excellent suggestions I've gone back to buy more of.
Only suggestion would be some baffling to absorb a bit of sound, can be a little loud (but I might be a bit sensitive!).

I booked this place for a clients blow out before an event, both she and I enjoyed our time here but it is very full on and packed. It is not a salon you will relax in.

I got my hair cut and styling done by Rolf. I can’t recommend him enough. Excellent communication skills and a hair wizard of sorts. I’m quite finicky about my hair and I pay attention to detail. Thank you, Rolf, for listening to my concerns about my recent post surgery hair loss and giving me the perfect haircut. Pretty much the best stylist I had in Melbourne. Keep doing what you do. Will be returning to Rakis.

I had Terri-Louise as my hair stylist and she was very wonderful, friendly and professional. I came in for a balayage and she provided a quality service with helpful advice! It's a good place if you have the money.

For any blokes out there wanting a great cut, perhaps for longer styles that your traditional barber wouldn’t necessarily do, Rolf at Rakis has got you covered.

Friendly, efficient and really pays attention to the style you are after. All in all, I felt well looked after as a customer and justified the pricing. Will definitely return.

Amazing service! My hair was coloured by Terri Louise and had lots of compliments since. I’ve asked for a low maintenance hair balayage and she has delivered. She also provided tips on how to style and take care of the hair. Would highly recommend!

Thank you Rolf for saving my hair last week! I got a terrible cut and a very drying set of highlights from a different salon a month ago. I came to Rakis to see if my hair could be salvaged. Luckily I booked with Rolf: He transformed a dry, shapeless mess into a beautiful and flattering style. He was also very friendly, informative, and easy to talk to. The rest of the staff was lovely and helpful as well. I don't think I'll go anywhere else after this experience!

I come in with a colour/extension problem from another salon and I was beyond upset. Terri went to so much effort to help get me back to blonde and provide perfectly matching extensions as well as healthy feeling hair with all the products she recommended. Fantastic, stylish and professional salon. I have been going here for 6 months now - Terri is the best colourist I have had in years, she does an amazing balayage and was able to match my natural root colour which has been impossible with my previous hairdressers. Alex gave me a cute fresh short cut and knew exactly what would suit my face.
