This was my first time and everything was great, the service was lovely and nice staff. Thank you Terri for doing my hair color today, it was perfect! I’ll come back again for sure!

A great experience! I saw Terri Louise for my colour, and she did an amazing job, taking care not to damage my hair.

I’ve been having bleach on scalp for years and know how hard it is to find a hairdresser that will sort out your regrowth without giving you a colour band, and I left very satisfied.

Would 100% recommend for any other blondes!

Extremely disappointed, horrible communication with the customer. Told the hairdresser to not cut my hair too short he replied okay and did completely the opposite. He told me at the end to wait 2 months for it to grow right? While I had told him my sister’s wedding is in 5 days and I wanted it perfect.

I got a hair consultation and a haircut by Leo. He gave the best advice on the right haircut for my face. The best textured pixie I’ve had so far. His chair side manners, warm personality and communication are impeccable. I love Rakis and I really look forward to my hair appointments and I always recommend them. They aren’t pretentious and very personable with their clients. Great work guys!

Just had a beginner makeup workshop with LeidyLu and she was wonderful. Got to learn some skincare tips as well along with the makeup skills. Highly recommend as she is very patient with everyone.

I had a colour correction and balayage done by Leidy on the 14/07/2023 and she did an amazing job! My hair was terrible and orange before I saw her and she spent the whole day patiently fixing it. All staff are lovely and go above & beyond to ensure you’re comfortable and well taken care of. Salon is chic and in a great location. I will definitely be a regular from now on. Thank you so much!

Amazing place! Everyone was super friendly and professional and made sure I had a super wonderful experience. I went in for a balayage and cut and the result completely exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be booking here again as it is one of the best experiences I've had with any hair salon:)

Terri @ Rakis has been doing my hair for over a year now. She was the first person to deal with my post-lockdown colour and I've been going to see her ever since. Terri is quick, professional and the colour is always spot on. I couldn't recommend her more! The salon is also super friendly, welcoming and very easy to get to. LOVE YOU GUYS!

My God HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS!? Went to get a haircut and the hairdresser had NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING! A first year apprentice could have done better. They also quoted $110 over the phone but agreed to charge $80 because it was SOOOOO BAD! ****If you want to look good after a haircut then DO NOT GO HERE! Even if you want a normal haircut DO NOT GO HERE! **** Repeat **** DO NOT GO HERE! *****

Called last minute yesterday morning and managed to get an appointment within half an hour! All of the staff gave the best service and went up and beyond. I got my hair washed, blow dried and curled with a hair halo and they absolutely slayed in every aspect. If I’m back in Melbourne you can guarantee I will be back. Thanks guys!

Im a client at Rakis for a few years now. Always outstanding customer service and everyone goes the extra mile to male you feel well looked after. The name speaks for itself.
Last time I went, I had the pleasure to meet Leo, new colourist from Colombo. Leo is the sweeties colourist you could ask for. Super calm, efficient and incredibly accurate with his work. His Color has been one of the best I had over the last 10years. So happy that this is worth a public recommendation, which I rarely take the time to do. You really found a Gem here!

Rakis is the best salon—so stylish but elegant, never too much. The people are always lovely and enthusiastic, always making the salon a happy place to spend time. The owner Stavros is a master, with so much expertise in the industry. He’s super charming and hilarious. I’ve seen a number of stylists for a cut and style and have always been very happy.

On the website it showed the price for balayage 260. I have very short hair everyone I know has never paid more than 300 and they all have much longer hair than me. I only wanted balayage and they ended up charging me for very short above shoulder hair 640 dollars. I am very angry and I’ve never heard anything being that expensive. I’m a student and I would never pay that much ever for my hair. It was advertised 260 not 640.
