Pullman Melbourne Albert Park reviews
97Wonderful, friendly & engaging staff. Easy access to StKilda, South Melbourne and the City.
Bad experience in the Mercure Albert park hotel, the wifi didn’t work during all our stay, staff tried giving us a code but nothing worked. The rooms had nothing exceptional, no conditioner or moisturising cream.
I don’t recommend
Pros:
Location was good, most staff were friendly and accomodating, gym/pool facilities were excellent, breakfast buffet menu selection was great, rooms were clean.
Cons:
Parking is an additional cost & cheaper to opt for valet parking (the valet, however, was awesome & highly recommended!) some furniture in rooms were tired/worn, had to request towels on multiple occasions (only 2 in room at any one time),
Regardless of my company’s fault regarding the booking, I was unlucky to be attended by an unprepared staff lady, who took more than one hour and a half to conclude the check-in with senior staff support. The room was vast and comfortable, but it was filthy. I was planning to stay for one week, but I changed to another place. The only positive point is the location, dot.
Exceptionally friendly staff who made the stay really pleasant. The hotel were great and allowed us to shower after we finished Around the Bay, despite checking out earlier int he morning.
Thanks again, i will be back next year.
Cheers
Mark
Pullman has hidden charges like expensive car park that is not explained prior to booking. Only got to know on Checking In. Reception check in was painfully slow.
Rooms were clean, bed comfortable but bring everything. No spare pillows, blankets or anything. Room service call went unanswered every time. Long waits in the restaurant. Waited an hour for wait staff to take order, over an hour to get food, which they got wrong and we had to go up & ask for it. Devoid of atmosphere and decor. Felt empty and dark. There was no comfortable feeling of wanting to stay.
I had such a lovely experience here, they were so accommodating and kind. A beautiful hotel room as well and very comfy!
Limited kitchen menu to choose, I said I can't eat bacon and beef. But the chef sent bacon in my food. I made a call to chef and asked, No apologizes and he said to remove bacon and eat. They didn't even replace the food. Really disappointed with service. Not in its range.
HORRIBLE SERVICE, staff very unprofessional. Oh would have to call up reception multiple times just for a simple service, DISGUSTING bedrooms stains on the bedsheets & BED BUGS 0 stars
If i could put minus i would shocking room was dirty when we first came in for isolation very poor service from reception order a meal through uber eats. To have it delivered then no knock at the door but a call half an hour later to ask if we had recieved our meal 20 minutes after delivery. Made to feel like criminals very poor food supplied three times a day would never stay here under choice definetley not the service i was expecting shocked and apaueld minus 5 stars.
Hotel WiFi is shockingly bad. 20 years ago bad. Drops in and out constantly. Infact the other hotels WiFi appear higher up on the available list of WiFi’s. When it does connect, forget about YouTube. It simply cannot handle it.
Very welcoming. Great food and nice rooms. Staff excellent especially a shot out to Emily. Wow she’s a hard worker. Goes above and beyond to keep you happy. Thank you
Up to the Pullman standard in a nice location. The breakfast options are not worth it right now because of COVID-19. Don’t do the breakfast included go for a walk to one of the cafes. You will be happier in the end
Clean and tidy, spacious room. Don't bother booking the balcony room, it has no view, note seats to sit on. If it did have seats, your wouldn't see over the brick balcony wall anyway. Otherwise very good, with very nice staff.
Great stay. Good access to city via tram line. Buffet breakfast is good. Valet parking was good but just make sure you tell them not to mess with the radio stations on your stereo.
I would rate it as a two star hotel. My stay was to an extent disappointing and I regretted staying there rather than choosing somewhere else
5 Stars i highly recommend staying here! Josh and Rett were warm welcoming and their service level was outstanding.good old fashion service seems to be a thing of the past in most modern hotels not so at Pullman Albert Park, well done guys every time we come to Melbourne we will stay here!
Totally uncomfortable space to stay, the air conditioner doesn’t work properly, thus the room was so hot and I can’t sleep. And we have to pay $20 for parking.
Service and experience was fairly good. The CBD wasn’t far from here which was very convenient, however wifi is very slow here. The valet parking service was nice to have.
