Always a disgusting wait time here guys. Expect to wait at least an hour in a hot car. What's the point of making an appointment if they can never keep them. Would not recommend.

Avoid Dr Lihua Ruan at all cost if you are a non Chinease or non Caucasian. She is cold, unfriendly and discriminated toward me. I saw her for the first time, I was polite to her and presented myself reasonably, however, she was so unwilling to treat me as a patient from the first minute. I had to dig info out of her to find out which medication to take for my problem. She did not bother to write it down nor put it on the script for OTC medication, instead she only said it verbally and unwillingly! It was so unprofessional behavior which is so opposite to what I heard of her from other Caucasian patients as she would be very nice to them!

My girlfriend had a consultation with Doctor Abu and she ended up in absolute tears. He was brash, blunt and rude to her and left her feeling emotional and highly anxious. I sat there while she had him on speaker and he talked like he didn’t care about her symptoms and concerns one little bit. He was so blunt and completely lacked any form of empathy. Doctors are meant to be there for their patients and do what is best for them; clearly not in this case. Doctor Abu should be ashamed of himself and this practice would be best to have him removed from his employment. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and treatment. Shame on you! Stay clear of this man and this practice!

Just calling this place is unpleasant. First you're greeted with hold music that gets a random message of "thank you for your patience" that's so loud I had to pull the phone away from my ear each time it popped up. Then when someone in reception finally answered she was rude from the get go. No thanks.

Terrible service.
Arrived for a 1.15pm appointment 10 minutes early.
Was asked to wait in the car
45 mins later I hadnt recieved a call, when I called reception they informed me the Dr is running a little behind. 45 minutes is a bit more than "a little behind"
I said I would have appreciated this information when I checked in to which I was told
"Well that's just the way it is the Dr will call you when they are ready"

Got told today when I had an appointment about female issues that I should have seen a 'lady doctor' and that I 'can't diagnose myself because I'm not a doctor' after I explained what was wrong. Seriously sexist and absolutely unprofessional.

This place has a horribly long waiting time, even after you book an appointment at a specific time. I asked the staff at the reception how long will it be, they claimed the time you booked is your check in time and not the time doctor sees you, so you could have many patients waiting in the queue before you.plan for your day accordingly as they may put you in waiting room for long time.

Had appointment booked. Called up to check in 30min before appointment. Was last appointment for the day. Waited in hot car for 40min to call up and ask why I was still waiting. To be told that the doctor has already left for the night. But we can book you in for a time tomorrow. Told them not to bother I won’t be coming back ever again.

We went here to have scans of our baby. Unbelievably rude machine operators. My wife asked if her baby was ok, the answer given: "I can't tell if it's going to be smart or rich. " And a few other comments about what she didn't know.
My wife tried asking the same question a few minutes later, and was told: "it's got two arms and two legs, it's human"
My wife had a sore tummy for two days after the scan, because the operator was rough.
This is my second child, but the first time I have seen such disrespectful staff. Absolutely shocking treatment.

Good place with lots of facilities. My GP is professional. However, it takes ages to check in and wait for the doctor calling you during covid-19.

Was left without medical assistance even though I was suffering a serious medical issue all because I hadn't been to see a doctor within 12 months due to a covid lockdown‍️ was left unable to find another doctor due to the late notice and was left to suffer till the next day even though current covid protocol states not to enter doctors surgeries with flu symptoms. Dont go here if you actually need medical help

Terrible customer service. Have appointment for 11.30 call the receptionist for at list 20 min and I decided to go inside and see what is going on. The receptionists was talking with her coworker, I asked her if she doesn’t mind to answer the phone because I am in front of her. She was extremely unhappy because I dare to interrupted her. Finally at 12.05 I was able to see the doctor.

Very bad experience. Even though we make appointments to see a gp, always the wait is more than 30 mins, I say always. Once i had to wait more than an hour with my grumpy kids (3 kids!). Receptionists are not helpful or friendly at all. I am posting this review after visiting this place for more than 5 years, i must say.

I want to explain my story that is going to break the hearts of many people. I lost my mum about 2.5 years ago and unfortunately I suffered a break down due to the overwhelming grief and missing my mother. I have no history of mental health. I have seen a psychiatrist once at the Mercy Hospital where psych medication was prescribed after being wrongly diagnosed with Bi Polar. I went and seen my Doctor, Dr Huc at Point Cook Medical center and told him in front of my brother that I was mis diagnosed and this medication was not for me. This doctor would not listen and left me on 120 mg. I am a 4.ft 9 woman who is a compliance officer for the government. Since this doctor left me on this dose of a 120 mg which is a massive dose, I have not been able to work a full week, it has caused significant memory loss issues that I am suffering now for the rest of my life. I also have permanent hair loss, I also have cellulite and stretch marks due to the medication making me put on 20kgs. I never had this before taking this medication. I told Dr Huc that I was wrongly diagnosed and he just kept prescribing it and said I need to keep taking it as this will help you feel better. My brothers doctor in Elwood took me off the Latuda medication 8 months ago and not 1 symptom has returned. My brothers doctor said I was mis diagnosed and I do not have Bi Polar. I was given strong psych medication that was for schizophrenia or bi polar and my brothers doctor said I don't have none of the 2. I have started a law suit against this Doctor. He also prescribed me anti biotics for a UTI that lasted over 12 months. My brother told him that I was going through menopause and I needed to be put on hormone replacement. He laughed at him, what a good and caring doctor. He disagreed because he is the doctor but my brothers doctor put me on bio identical hormone replacement and I haven't had an infection since. I will sum this up in a few words, Dr Huq and Point Cook Medical is only good for prescribing anti biotics. This man is not a psychiatrist but plays the psychiatrist and prescribes psych medication liked a psychiatrist. On many occasions I said to him I am experiencing memory loss where I can't remember parts of my childhood due to this medication. He said keep taking the medication. I would not trust any member of my family with Dr Huq.

Tried to made an urgent appointment for my Father who returned home from Hospital on Tuesday from a triple bypass and was greeted by the rudest and nastiest receptionist I have ever come across. After explaining a number of times that I needed to make a contact visit with a doctor because his doctor was in lockdown she proceeded to tell me that we would have to sit in the car and someone would bring out paperwork for my Dad to fill out (first time visit). My Dad needed an ECG and a blood test. That was not an issue and we understand the safety of everyone involved due to Covid-19. She then informed us once the paperwork was done she didn’t know what would happen after that. Suggesting that we may or may not see a doctor and if we did see a doctor we could be sitting in the car for hours. Absolutely disgusting and appalling. Will never attend this clinic because of the rude receptionist. She needs to go find some manners or quit, obviously in the wrong job

I am writing my review taking into consideration this is a bulk billed clinic with a turnover of hundreds a day.
I have always been happy with the service I have received here, however I also too am always nice and polite to all the staff, even if I spend an hour waiting for an appointment, as I appreciate the fact that every appointment is not going to go as scheduled, and there is many a time when I have gone over the allotted time period to see the doctor, and this is why they run late. It is a fact of life if attending a bulk billed clinic, so not sure why people are complaining. If you don't want to have to possibly wait an hour, go and pay to see a doctor. I used to live rural Qld and the doctor only came to town twice a week, so if you were sick other days, you had to drive an hour and a half to the nearest doctor, so maybe people should stop complaining and appreciate the clinic for what it is.
