Amazing experience of having lunch here! One beautiful young girl named Evie reserved excellent service! She is so warm and activity! So fabulously!

I’d definitely pass on this vineyard/restaurant. When my husband and I went by we went for a wine tasting. He gave us a few tastes and didn’t charge us, but he couldn’t have seemed less interested in us. Then we went to grab a small bite and sat down, but we waited for about 10 minutes and after no one talked to us we left. It’s unfortunate because the vineyard is very beautiful, but the customer service sucks. Also, the food is insanely overpriced.

Had spent the day touring in the Mornington Peninsula and stopped by as a friend had recommended this place. We went to the wine shop for wine tasting, the guy there showed little interest in the customers. We bought a bottle of Shiraz which we thought was pricey and the guy could hardly wait to disappear into the back room. This attitude is in sharp contrast to all the places we had visited earlier in the day

Montalto is one of my favourite wineries on the Peninsula. It has so much to offer to suit all occasions! There's a great sculpture park you can wander through (takes about 45 mins) and a pretty garden cafe serving pizza, plus a brilliant hatred restaurant overlooking the estate. Wines are excellent, too. Try to go outside of the weekend (or book in advance) for a more relaxed experience as it can get busy.

Fantastic view of the vineyard and great selection of art to appreciate on a short walk from the restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient with good selection of local produce. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Highly recommended for locals and visitors.

Very disappointing food, even more disappointing service which culminated in the owner requesting through his manager that my elderly group be moved from their vision as we were ruining their vista over the vineyard. I was there celebrating my dear father’s 80th birthday with several of his lifelong friends including 2 retired QCs and an esteemed Melbourne psychiatrist. Well Mr Mitchell I apologize that my valued elders were “ruining your view”. I certainly won’t be back or recommending your very average establishment.
The only nice staff were the car park attendants

Love the scenery, food is great as is the wine. Can get a little noisey and busy but still a great place to dine.
