Great place, wine is not so bad, but too bad the food is so complicated to order.
So many waiters waitresses around just mingling with each other, and noone can help you order, you have to do it all yourself on an app that is not so simple to navigate through.

We had a picnic and it exceeded our expectations! From the minute we walked in, we were treated warmly and felt comfortable and excited. The tasting was an added bonus that we didn't expect. The winery is stunning! The walk to the picnic area was fantastic as we got to see the sculptures and rose garden. The food delivered for the picnic was exceptional, as was the customer service.

When we arrived to the picnic area, it was set out beautifully and so private. We had blankets to snuggle in and when we opened the little fridge, there were gigantic, perfectly prepared prawns ready to eat. There was also beautiful olive oil and bread to dip, a veggie plate with prosciutto and hummus. The main was chicken in a tomato sauce with a smoked barramundi salad, roast potatoes and fresh veggies. Dessert was a lemon curd with meringue and berries. Just stunning! Thank you so much guys!

No longer a good spot - absolute zoo full of kids running around and busloads of people doing wine tours. Service non existent. This used to be my favourite winery to take people to on the peninsula, but it seems to have rapidly declined.

A lovely way to spend a cold wet Monday. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating of our needs. The food is exceptional and very modern eclectic but truly tantalising to the senses. We could not fault the whole experience.

Went here today for lunch, food was average the girl who was serving us I think her name was Casey was very rude not helpful at all slow service the young man who was our waiter on table didn’t look happy and wasn’t that friendly at all had to wait for 25 minutes for a drink and a hot chocolate what just a joke for the money the charge not really worth the wait slow service and over priced place the some of the staff didn’t really want to be there by the looks on there faces really disappointing the car parking is a joke they need more parks on there land only good thing about it was nice view

Mark firstly, food secondly, wine as good as both. Cannot recommend this place enough, pinot gris and such a dry rose carrying perfect amount of strawberry. This is a must visit around here.

We arrived here without a booking and a special needs friend. Brook was amazing in understanding our request of being unable to wait long and gave us a beautiful table in the piazza. Mark's 2021 wine recommendation was awesome and Amy and Glen's service beyond expectations!

Fantastic food and drinks. View was amazing and the staff were friendly and on point especially the manager. Would highly recommend.

$70 set menu at Piazza. Quite heavy on the bread (sourdough was fantastic) so we were very full by the time we had the mains. Still tasty with the trout and barramundi being the highlights of the meal.

Lovely place & lovely wine! Only gave it 3 stars as the staff were not the friendliest. The whole experience as I entered, the staff was not welcoming. Kept getting bounced around different bars for wine or nibbles for food or coffee. The owner was nice enough to assist. Lovely owner wish the staff was as hospitable. The host was terribly standoffish too. Something to improve on when you have paying guests arrive

Had an amazing day at Montalto on Saturday with our team. Thank you for great food, wine and location. We had fun with the team from Agile IT and our families. Loved it.

The entire picnic experience was outstanding! We loved it all! Would highly recommend it to others and we are trying to work out how we can bring our entire family to enjoy the same experience. Well done on a brilliant idea.

Ended up feeding it to the dogs.

Got given a birthday voucher. Unable to spend it on anything, other than the dinner for two which was a fixed menu. Ended up getting a massive lamb shoulder served to us on a wooden board (came out cold) with a steak knife planted in the middle of it. My date was mortified after taking one look at the dish, and said she did not want to eat it. The juices were running off the board. We were on a slight slope and it proceeded to leak onto her. We did not end up eating any of it other than the sides.

We ultimately ended up doggy bagging the lamb shoulder and ordering pizza instead which is the only reason I would give them two stars as it was awesome. Unfortunately it wasn’t covered under my initial voucher.

Ironically the first time I used a doggy bag for the dogs.

Overpriced for minimal food and drink. We ordered the prawn pizza and there was not one prawn on it, just a few chopped up bits of prawn. Napoli pizza hardly had cheese on. The one slice I had didn't have any cheese on it. $17tiny amount of wine

Where was the cheese?
The duck was good as were the drinks, the pizza on the other hand was as if the cheese had been forced to lockdown far from the restaurant.

Beautiful surrounds, enjoyable sculpture walk and fantastic pizzas, fish and food in general. Only lowlight was the absolute cow on the door, yes it was a hot busy day but she was decidedly unpleasant and rude. She should definitely not be the first point of contact for such a fine establishment. She left a sour taste in my interstate guests experience for the day.

Relaxed staff and atmosphere, great food
Big shout out to the waiter guy wearing the shorts and cap (didn't catch his name) but he was very friendly and chill
