Visited on a Monday and was seated straight away. Food spot on, wine eveb better. Plan your trip and get here early and make a day of it.

Food was amazing, thanks Matt. The flavors danced in my mouth. Wine was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Thanks Tara for your special attention and service. I would recommend the Restaurant and winery to anyone who loves fine food.

Decided to do a lunch road trip to Red Hill on Friday. Most of the restaurants only have a set menu. We’ve decided to go to this place since I love Matt Wilkinson’s cooking. The place is so pretty. You could do a short walk around the property to see the scenery and the art works. All happy with our meal. My favourite one: the steak! It’s a must to try.

Not a frequent reviewer, but had such a wonderful lunch today that I wanted your restaurant and team to be aware.our waiter and service was polite, attentive but spacious.the food was exceptional, set menu, sumptuously served and whilst a late serving on Easter Monday, there was no sense we were left with the last meals of the day.our two tweens were welcomed as much as we were and there was a great sense across the dining floor that people were enjoying the experience.teamed with a welcome at the gate, a short tasting prior to lunch and an efficient farewell, this was a great family lunch. Thank-you.

We recently held our wedding at Montalto and we had an absolutely amazing time. The food was delicious, the views were incredible, however what won us over was the service! Our guests were impressed by the service that was provided throughout the day. Thank you to the entire team at Montalto. We look forward to coming back again soon.

The best experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The staff were so friendly and nice, one of them took a great photo of my boyfriend and me. We paid for a discovery experience which comes with tasting wine and a setup menu. The food was totally incredible and we were surprised by the quantity and quality of the food. The staff thought they were taking long to give us the food (We didn't think of that, it was the perfect time for us) and they didn't charge us for the extra food and drinks we ordered, so nice of them. After the meal, we went for a beautiful walk. I totally recommend this place and I want to go back soon.

We went two weeks ago, perfect location and fantastic atmosphere. The peninsular discovery tasting menu was excellent, great food, good wine and service. Recommended.

Enjoyed the sunshine in the pizzeria and the surroundings and the Chilli pizza was delicious. HOWEVER, the service was absolutely laughable! So poor.waited at the front for so long with all the staff walking past and not one person greeting us, finally was seated and although service speed was fine, no one smiled or had any warming personality. Would go again, but with low expectations.

Amazing food! One of the best meals I've had in the long time, the view was also great and the staff was lovely! A bit pricey but well worth it

We couldnt make it to the restaurant kitchen closed by 3pm but piazza was great. Wish weather was better it has a beautiful view from seating and great for kids run around in vineyard. Food was great nice and warm. Definitely come back here again to try restaurant and more food.

We were let down by the lack of service as the staff were busy amongst themselves.

Decided to try this place with my partner for our 6th year anniversary. Was definitely worth the drive! We were given the best service and overall the food was amazing, will definitely be coming back again.

Had the wine tasting and feed me menu experience. A wonderful birthday present. The food was outstanding and the setting amongst the vineyards is beautiful.

What a fabulous place to have lunch on a warm summers day. Beautiful location. Great wine. Delicious pizzas and terrific service. If you are on the Mornington Peninsula do yourself a favour and go for lunch. A walk in the sculpture park afterwards finished off a wonderful experience.

The food is so nice! I love the pizza and the duck leg very much! The window view is nice too, you willdefinitely enjoy the time there:)

What a fantastic place for a summer lunch. The service was great considering it is the busiest time on the Peninsula. We were fortunate to grab an outside table and enjoy a quick pizza and bubbles. The sparking rose in fabulous and the pizza was just as good - ordered with additional basil. The views speak for themselves, a great outlook for any occasion. Don’t drive past, make sure you pop in, even if it is just for a tasting.

The Feed Me option was so good with variety and great flavours. We sat outside in the garden on a lovely 26 degree summer day and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, fabulous service and the view was amazing.

Btw, we went on a weekday when it wasn’t crowded.

Disfunctional floor management. Useless waitress. Average tasting pizza. Nothing like incompetent service to say THIS IS AUSTRALIA! Pathetic really.

Loved the food and the atmosphere of this place! You'd usually have to wait for a table but you could kill time strolling through the sculpture garden or even order a drink or 2 and have a picnic before your meal! You cant go wrong ordering the pizza, cocktail potatoes and the lambbb!
