Had 5 course tasting menu for $85 with mostly vegetables. 1 small cube of pork belly and a piece of lamb was all the meat we got. The rest were 1 piece of asparagus, 1 half radish, bit of cabbage, iceberg lettuce. And a dessert. What a rip off. Can't believe restaurants can charge so much for degustations with vegetables

Delicious meal and great view. The whole vineyard is a great piece of art. Broccoli pizza reminded me of the movie "Inside out"

The food was great but was a lot surprised to get charged $39 for their own moscato which if you bought at their shop is $23. We are putting to chilling the bottle, the glasses we were given and for the wine to be served to us.

Overpriced and absolutely terrible food and wine.too pretentious for their own good.they think they're a fancy place, but cannot provide the quality to justify anything more than a local diner.

Such a unique space with incredibly tasty and fresh food. Top easy to drink wine, with a smooth finish. Definitely one of the best wineries.

Outdoor surroundings of premises were nice.quality and presentation of food incredibly poor.customer service was ok.price of food at $620 for 4 people one bottle of wine quite overpriced considering the ridiculously small servings of average tasting food.duck was extremely raw and undercooked will not be returning and would not (!) recommend especially at those prices.a lot better quality and presentation in any of Melbourne's inner city restaurants.

Compared to other wineries it leaves a lot to be desired. The service being lacklustre with about half the staff seeming disinterested, and the lack of communication about the set menu made it overall a pretty average experience. It is more expensive than other wineries which offer a better experience. The staff member who conducted the wine tasting however was informative and friendly. The food was good. Some of the wines were amazing, although expensive. Fair enough.

Montalto is resting on its laurels. Great setting, beautiful food but the service and level of enthusiasm at the cellar door leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe selling wine is not as profitable as food service but I would have assumed it was the essence of a good winery.

Trying to look at the website but a pop up for their email list comes up and there's no option to get rid of it

Terrible dining experience. The fish was tough and under cooked. The potato side dish was bland and no one wants to eat dry “al dente” potato with a balsamic glaze instead of the “promised” gravy. The staff were uninterested and made no comment in regards to the under done meal. Will never go back and do not recommend at all! If I could give less than one star I would.

This is a review of the café.
Dirty table which we had to clear ourselves. Surprised wait staff when we wanted to order wine. In a winery.
Charcuteríe board that was overpriced and understocked.

Not again.

Lovely space, food is tasty. However the staff need to watch what they say, being told that the table next to us paid more to be there therefore they deserve better chairs is terrible service! Hospitality 101 is treat all your paying guests well.

This one is really good vineyard for the food as well as tasting the wines. We ordered wine from each categories. You can really taste the difference between all the wines. Also pizza was great. Really enjoyed the place. Great ambience and the staff. Additionally you get to see the awesome view from the outside. Nice place to take pics.
Also can go for a walk after the food.good places around with proper guidelines. Few good spots for the photographers.

The pizza and the chacuterie is good. The vineyard is also very beautiful with many interesting artistic sculptures there. However, you should make a reservation or go early as it is very popular and you may have to wait a long time to get a table.

Has a wonderful lunch at the vineyard Piazza restaurant. Fish was perfect as was the beef. Service staff were friendly and smiled. Coffee was good too.

A section of the vineyard is open to exploration with sculptures and art works on display.

Excellent food! I’ve been thinking about your pizzas ever since I’ve arrived back in Kuala Lumpur. Loved it!

Wouldn't recommend this winery if you are doing a wine tasting tour. The staff are extremely rude and they charge you for it regardless of how much money you spend there. We had 9 of us on a tour, ate lunch and purchased their product. Our bill came to $400 and we still got charged for the tasting. There are MUCH nicer wineries you can go to in Red Hill and they don't charge for tastings.

First time I’ve had Sauvignin (yes, -in), i’m normally a red or white guy, but this was great. Worth the drive, amazing views, some cool statue park in the distance too which reminded me of Goldeneye on Nintendo 64, which was an added bonus.
