If you have a chance and can avoid going to this hospital - definitely avoid. Not only has our personal experience of care been beyond disappointing but also the lack of communication and simple processes to visit, get updates and discuss care options are appalling. I would consider paying the ambulance to take me anywhere else other than here if i ever had the option. My opinion, avoid this "hospital" at all costs.

Why the low rating this hospital saves lives!
Could not speak highly enough about the doctors and surgeons here they have saved my life on 2 occasions. Typically didn't go to Monash because my first hip replacement was at Latrobe Hospital ended up with gangrene on my heel, cellulitis on the other leg and foot drop caused by the muscle dying also in the other leg. Went to Monash because my leg with the gangrene was unbearable was so bade they had to amputate.

The nurse Chenqu Cui is very helpful. She told me the truth. Doctors there don’t help patients at all and they don’t even give the right medicine. Patients depend on their own immunity system to fight.
Thank you Chenqu Cui, love ️

Parking too expensive.in all hospitals parking should free because nobody go there for amusement or party. Or even if they want to charge they should charge $1 for an hr.
Its really shame it cost $30 plus

Worst hospital. After waiting for 4 hours I was told there is wait of another 4 hours. There were people isolating because of Covid 19 in the same waiting room.

Avoid going to this hospital at any cost if you can.

With antigen tests available, they should be allowing visitors. Without visitors, vulnerable patients don't have a voice.
Before a nurse gives you anything to ingest or approaches you for anything. Make sure they have the right patient.
Two incidents already.
1. Wrong medication given
2. Almost gave wrong medication. The patient prevented the accident!
Be careful. Make check the name, patient number and the address of the patient matches.

DO NOT ATTEND THIS EMERGENCY ROOM!
I attended the er while in unbearable pain and while bleeding out, I waiting 7 hours and was not seen by a nurse or doctor, I then went to angliss hospital had a bed in 1 hour and emergency surgery the next hour. I wish I could give zero stars. All staff have no compassion and no cares about anyone and should be ashamed of themselves.

Two words. Medical negligence.
Mark my words, you will be held to account.

I recommend Dandenong hospital, or Frankston.

Monash, you have somethings to answer to, and I promise you, I have all the time in the world, to make sure, this is followed through to the very very maximum extent you can be held accountable.

If you want quality care for your lived ones, do not bring them here

Great service. They saved my uncle's life when he was having a heart attack. He made a full recovery and was out of the hospital 3 days later. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

Surrounded by covid. The food is not fit for a dog. No Idea of what is going on. I could recuperate at home where there is next to no risk of transmission. NOT A HOSPITAL THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO AN ANIMAL!

Arrived emergency department with baby around 9: 30 at night, the waiting room were full of people. Now it is 6 a.m. No one in the waiting room. All other paints went home already, I am still waiting for the doctor.

Update: we ended up with leaving at 7: 00 am WITHOUT seeing a doctor

Talia Taylor who works @ Monash Clayton ward 34 is an amazing and caring RN and deserves so much recognition for her Tireless work. We need a lot more people like her in our hospitals. There are truly angles among us! Thank you, so much for your care and taking care of my dad! Bless you.

Most Nurses wonderful but at times language barrier which can be very stressful during a traumatic time. OT terrific however I have been waiting for a call from the drs for over a week. I called daily sometimes twice per day in attempt to speak with a dr. I had many questions regarding outcome of tests and care I need to provide for a family member once home with serious and life threatening illness. I'm sure they provided excellent care to my family member however absolutely Disgraceful they couldn't care a less about the care giver beyond the hospital walls. I am beyond disturbed, angry and disillusioned on how this is ok they made a heart breaking situation more stressful
