Was so yummy, didnt even get a chance to take photos but we ordered the arancini balls and potato pizza, both were delicious! Would come back again.

Beautiful place to have dinner and cocktails. Authentic Italian cuisine. Never get sick of this place

Great view from the outdoor balcony and my friend and I really enjoyed our meal - vegetarian risotto and seafood lunguini.

What a beautiful place! Tucked away, High above the Yarra River, we were lucky enough to get a balcony seat! The cheese arancini balls were perfection, as was the eggplant. In regards to mains I had the slow cooked ox cheek, which I would get again in a heartbeat and my partner got a pizza - just as delish. Not only the food but the service was awesome - we’ll be back.

What a disappointment tonight was. We have been here numerous times and this was the moment we decided not to go back.
When we first arrived and ordered a drink my cocktail was half full. I asked the waiter why was it like this. His response was "darling this is the standard size". My next cocktail I ordered was full to the top. Strange that.
Next we ordered entree. That was OK. Husband decided to omit one ingredient from his veal meal to be replaced with chips but when he got the meal all the extra vegetables were gone and he was served 2 pieces of veal and a small amount of chips.
Watching the bar staff from our seats we noticed the staff filling cocktails just over half and trying there hardest to get every drop from the silver shaker to make it look full. The bar staff go over and grabs a garnish with his bare hands and plonks it into the glass. Not very covid safe at all.
You have certainly lost 2 regular customers.

Arrogant and condescending. They seem to feel like they're doing you a favour by letting you in the door. Go somewhere else if you want friendly and respectful staff.

We eat at La Camera quite regularly whether it's for a special occasion or just a pop in for a yummy pizza.

Beautiful view of the city, great service, great food. Went for our work Christmas party everything was perfect. Definitely a place I would visit again xx

Today, Sun 12dec2021, was a reconnaissance as I had heard they were open on Christmas Day and my usual place is closed this year. I have booked a balcony table after a most enjoyable visit and meal.

Today I chose the Cotoletta di Vitello: Pan fried herb and spice crumbed veal with Inzumino di Ceci (slow cooked chickpea with onion, garlic, tomato, root vegetables, potato, fresh herbs, smoked paprika, baby spinach, butter).
Delicious, light, ungarlicky or smoky. The pumpkin added a touch of sweetness to the Inzumino. Crumbed to perfection, the veal retaining moisture and flavour.   I asked for a wedge of lemon for the veal 'cos I like the extra zing.

Dessert of vanilla and mango gelati. Yum. Made by the local Southgate ice cream manufacturer called Cups and Cones. The real deal!

Glass of Vigna Stefani pinot noir. Yarra Valley winery. Smooth, light, delicious with a hint of spice.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I needed water on this hot day, and was offered it without asking. Quick service throughout despite it being quite busy.

Christmas Day lunch? Yes. 4-course set menu $150. Booked a balcony table overlooking the Yarra River. I'm looking forward to it.

Great food great service. Balcony definitely best option if weather is right. The 8hr slow cooked ox cheek is sublime. The paella is perfectly cooked and the pork belly is highly recommended.

Service is a stand out feature.

It was so great to get out after lockdown. Staff friendly and attentive however one lady had a lot of trouble understanding us. The food was delicious chicken risotto yum the steak cooked to perfection parmigiana very nice. Thanks for a great night.

Third time here. Fantastic meals, great staff. We'll be back. Again. This was the lasagne. The empty, scraped plate says it all.

Food was tasty and satisfying. The service left a little bit to be desired. However I would still recommend it

I was surprised when I saw the dishes on the table, the potions were just a little bit, I don’t think it worth the money. Staff didn’t offer coffee or dessert when he was taking away empty dishes. Well you pay for the location! But definitely I would not visit again.

Had dinner with the family at La Camera and found the staff were super friendly, from entering we were made to feel at home. Food was excellent, we had steak and kids had pizzas. Thanks to our serving staff member Rob we had a lovely evening. Highly recommend to all.

Staff went well over the top to ensure we had the best experience. Allowed us to sample the sparklings to ensure we ordered the wine we wanted. Was amazing food and great value for my family of 4.
