One of our favourite places to go. Good food, good service at reasonable prices and good social nights

Floor manager that greeted us upon entry is a total joke. Typically customer facing roles should entail a level of customer service, which was absent upon our arrival today. The place was completely empty yet he refused to provide a table with 4 seats for my partner and I as we wanted to sit on the terrace. I highly doubt the place would fill up in the 40 minutes we would've spent there for lunch.

We went for a group lunch last Saturday, had some pizzas pastas and cocktails. The food portions are generous and the location is spot on. The outdoor seating area gives you the entire overlook of yarra river and would be ideal on a good sunny weather day. The cocktails were nice, the food was average nothing to rave about and no complaints. We moved indoor because some of our friends werent prepared for the weather, there was less servers attention for outdoor tables but the overall service was pleasant.

Food was good but i cant justify the pricing for what we had and then to add 10% for Sunday trade what a total RIP! I know rent hurts these type of places but what hurts is no repeat business! A booking system that you need to provide your credit card and if you read the terms and conditions you can get charged for not turning up? And the whole centre needs to be looked at.the smell from the carpark put me off my dinner.when someone finds out please let me know what it could be it cant be healthy.

Our family loved this place. Truly first class, even for Melbourne, which has top notch restaurants. Great Italian food and very good service. And reasonably priced. Best gnocchi I have had.ever.and I order gnocchi often.

We were served by the lovely waiter David. He gave us the most wonderful experience and was alway vigilant and aware of not only our necessities but the surrounding tables as well. Overall we were very impressed with the service and the food was amazing, 10/10

Had a lovely meal here on Friday night before a show at Hamer Hall. Was delicious food and very friendly service, staff was very attentive. Food and drinks arrived quickly. We also had a lovely view and atmosphere. Will come again)

Overpriced, extremely average quality and no choice of menu.
Won’t be coming back and take your $100’s of dollars elsewhere

Brilliant food with an awesome view. Wine selection was also good. Really appreciated the friendly service also. Would highly recommend checking this place out.

Had dinner here with friends and quite enjoyed it. Very nice calamari, pumpkin gnocchi and tiramisu. Pizza was okay too. Get the balcony seats if you can.

As we walked in, Immediately felt that the server was so dry and rude. We did absolutely nothing to this person and he took his attitude out on us. Decided not to eat there after looking at the menu and he stated we will be charged for the booking regardless. Would not recommend eating here.

Not worth the money, foods was burnt, better taste at the local pub at a cheaper price. Service was less than average.

The pizza was very very yummy it was so yummy i forgot to take a photo! And the drinks were very tasty! My bf took me here for valentines it was so lovely:)

Great place to chill overlooking the yarra always great service and fresh delicious meals. Tried the croquettes omg just fantastic and the garlic and cheese bread topped off with a traditional carbonara highly recommend

Great pizzas and pasta good selection to choose from. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great views of the Yarra.

Good but the online QR ordering system screwed the entire experience. I spent over 45 minutes poking around on my phone, entering my minutest personal details. I had to enter my credit card details again and again then, on the 3rd time, my bank sent a confirmation magic number which I had to type in. Overall, it might have been better if we just ordered through the waitress.

The food was ok, venue was terribly noisy, wait staff ok, owner warned us that someone ordered a dish online that was going to take 45 mins to produce so that person had to reorder.

Overall, we were glad when we left. It was so much more tranquil and relaxed anywhere else but at La Camera.

My advice is to ditch the online QR ordering app. The food and staff were actually ok. Why do restaurants still have these QR apps?

Honest review the customer service was atrocious and I could tell the staff members had inappropriate intentions worst pasta dinner. Went threw 3 servers only ordering classic pasta, necter mango and flat white. It was discusting and they printed a recept with out asking. Not recommended.

I called back because I got a voice message but the one who answered is rude and not personable at all. It seems she does not like entertaining customers. Substandard for me.

Have loved La Camera in the past but had a disappointing experience with the food and drink quality right after Covid that put us off for awhile. But we noticed similar issues at pretty much all of our favourite places as they struggled to get back into the swing of things after lockdown with staff shortages etc. Now two years later, we decided to give it another shot and are so glad we did. The staff were all lovely, attentive and friendly. The food was cooked to perfection and as vegetarians we loved all the options that were available to us. The risotto is my new favourite thing. Just as impressive were the cocktails. They offered super delicious takes on some of the classics with the extra minty Southside and the cinnamon Espresso Martini. Going back again for the second time in a week as we’re ready for a repeat. Probably going to be seeing a lot more of us!

The service was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive. Our food arrived very quickly. Speaking of which, our meals were spectacular. My gnocchi was hands down the best I’d ever had. Highly recommend.
