89Great little place but your young bartender simone needs a serious attitude check! Incredibly rude, decides to gossip instead of serve and carelessly kicks food scraps under the bench/tables.
Check in experience was pleasant but the cleanliness of the room prior to arrival seemed underwhelming
Had a two day workshop here. Rooms upstairs were spacious although got stuffy throughout the day. Catering through Jasper was great and couldn't complain.
The Jasper Hotel is my home for a three-week stay in Melbourne, and I'm about halfway through it. Everyone here is wonderful, from the front desk to the kitchen to the clean rooms and common spaces. They generously have kept my local hosts and me in buckets of ice cubes, bowls and utensils for take-out food, and even warmed our leftover takeout so none is wasted. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The location is walking distance from every place I need to go. Love it here!
Staff were wonderful and friendly. Rooms were lovely, it was a little loud due to street traffic, but that's it.:)
Nice clean hotel. Great staff. Comfortable beds. Good location at the top end of Elizabeth Street near the markets.
Good sized rooms that were well stocked and hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The kitchen/bar was good for breakfast and dinner, however the food took a long time to come out. The lighting in the hallways to the rooms was quite rude and very bright especially entering the hotel during the night, it needs to be dimmed depending on time of day.
Stayed here recently and had a wonderful stay. Was booked into a room on the top floor which had a wonderful view and had beautiful morning sun shining through! The staff were welcoming and very lovely throughout the whole process! Great location next to lots of restaurants, everything was a short walk and the tram stop was close. Will stay here again!
Only one waitress who avoided us long enough that we seated ourselves and even picked up our own menus from the counter.
We had to ask how we order, when the waitress finally stopped avoiding making eye contact.
Informed that it would be a 20 minute wait, we decided to wait it out. And the food ended up being over 30 minutes.
Sadly to say I won't be back anytime soon.
