Meals small, over priced food and beverages $$, breakfast, lunch Menu boring. Burgers a hundred ways. Will never go back. Booked but booking not listed, poor management error. Go to the Elsternwick Pub instead. Better value and fresher food.

Great spot for dinner and drinks with mates or a date night. We sat in the large outdoor area that had plenty of heaters which will be perfect in winter, love the option to build your own share platter and you can’t go wrong with Guinness on tap!

Amazing food and equally amazing service. Undoubtedly will be coming back again. The cocktail magician behind the bar, Aurelien, is clearly one of the best bartenders Melbourne has to offer. Amazing any day of the week. Hana and Haley were amazing too, large shoutout to Ben for always giving amazing service. Can’t wait to come back

Daughter tried to book for 9 people. We are all normal drinkers except the birthday girl who is learning not to drink and has issues with alcohol at the moment. Ask if they had any non alcoholic wines but they didn't. Ask if ok to bring a bottle of non alcoholic so she did feel leftout, as everyone else will be buy drinks as normal. Told they don't allow byo alcohol. She told them it's not alcoholic and they said no it's against the licence.
(IT'S NOT ALCOHOL!)
They then abruptly hung up.
She was still going to book even with them being so un- empathetic.
Never thought in today's climate, where we are encouraged to go out and support businesses which has struggled through covid etc.could be so insensitive to potential clients.
Will not be supporting this business.

The place is very nice with good food and good customer service. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere and good vibes all around. Would come back here again

Absolute best restaurant going around with delicious food, top notch service, fantastic drinks, and the nicest owner in all of Melbourne.

Only 1/4 full, was told that I wasn’t able to open my notebook as they don’t allow work. Opened my computer and was told off.
Despite not being busy, waiting staff ignored me when I wanted to order food. Second time there, haven’t been impressed either time with or without a computer. Much better options on this strip of shops.

Absolutely useless service, very rude manager, food took over one and half hour, when complaint about the reason for it to be that delayed, manager said I gonna kick you out if you keep complaining, bloody no go zone real goat house with manager being a real goat

Definitely the best restaurant in Elsternwick. Highly recommend. Shared plates with nice tap Stella beer is my go to! My girlfriend loves Hurricane cocktail!

Had a wonderful night at Goat House Bar & Restaurant. The air in the restaurant in inviting, with good vibes enveloping me as soon as i walked into the roomy yet cozy establishment. Lovely staff were always there to make sure i was covered for any inquiry or request i wanted, with staff even going above and beyond without even being prompted. My meal was expertly crafted, with presentation to make my mouth water and flavour to make my eyes water, in what could be more accurately be described as an experience than food. Will be glad to come back here again and again and i definitely recommend Goat House Bar & Restaurant for any resident of Melbourne.

I recently had a meal at the Goat House. The staff were lovely and the service was exceptional. The meal came out fast and was nice. They checked vaccination certificates upon arrival and check-in was mandatory. Would go back again soon.

Had the nicest meal and drink at the Goat House. It was a busy night but the staff were still attentive and friendly. There was live music and the atmosphere was incredible. Food was well priced for such wonderful meal and the owner greeted us at the door and ensured we had the best experience possible. Definitely coming again and would recommend!

The highlight of our whole night were our servers, Brendon and Jules. They waited us so well and were so attentive to our needs. They served not only delicious food, but beautiful smiles and amazing conversation

I am now a regular customer of the Goat House after many wonderful evenings and experiences there. The service was incredible with such friendly and hardworking staff that were able to cater for my food requirement (gluten free). It’s great for both large gatherings of people as well as smaller groups.overall just great atmosphere and brilliant food.would recommend 100%

Very attentive staff with a massive selection for both food and drink! Great spot in the beer garden for a meal and drink. Had some of the best ribs I've ever had from here! Perfect date night spot with plenty of room for larger groups!

A comfortable environment with great service and food and coffee. The Pancake Stack from the all day breakfast menu was a delightful surprise; I expected it to be quite sweet, but it wasn't, and that's a good thing, for me. Light and just enough for a warm summer's day. A popular meeting place for coffee and chats, it's very handy to the Elsternwick Station and also the number 67 tram stop next door. I always visit when shopping further up Glenhuntly Road.
4nov2021 Update: Covid double vaxxed. Lunchtime, no booking needed. Beautiful day, windows open, light breeze. Today's choice is Chicken and mushrooms risotto and shaved Parmesan and microgreens. Other things in it too. Delicious.

Great experience and the food was really good. The fireplace is awesome to dine in front of. The staff were friendly and the owner was really nice to us which made it an enjoyable night for us.

Great place, good atmosphere, food delicious varied menu to cater to all tastes at a reasonable price, friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
