At The Goat House, the food is an absolute delight. The service is impeccable, with a knowledgeable and friendly staff adding a great touch to an already superb evening. The amazing and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable meal, making it a great spot, will come again soon.

Mid afternoon on a Monday and the place is predominantly empty… I went to order a glass of wine and open my laptop (using my own wi-fi!) and was told laptops were not allowed. So I didn’t bother ordering my wine and I left.

I won’t ever be back! Management sound like inhospitable idiots. No wonder the place was empty.

Loved our evening! The food was delicious, the restaurant was beautiful and the staff were lovely.
We ordered the share platter items and it came out beautifully presented and the cocktails were amazing.
We slotted in at 8.30 and stayed until close. Couldn’t have been happier with the experience for my partners 30th dinner.

Pretty sure I got food poisoning there Tue night. Make sure you check the glasses for cleanliness as much as you can.

Great atmosphere inside and out, great bar and decor. Dinner outside in the sun is divine. You must try the squid ink linguine.so good!

Extremely attentive service. We were always being asked if we wanted more drinks or food.

Good food (had a great chicken burger). Decent beer selection. Great atmosphere (pretty loud in there!).

A very welcoming restaurant/bistro. As soon we I entered I was greeted by friendly staff who were very attentive.
The venue itself is very spacious offering many tables indoor and outdoors.
There is a great vibe about this place and I would highly recommend group dining here to make the most of the share platter menu items.

We got the ribeye steak 7.1/10
Linguine Seafood pasta 4.5/10 for me…. The rocket and capsicum just didn’t go well with the dish.
The share platter included corn cobs 7.4/10, chicken wings 7.8/10 and garlic butter prawns 6/10.

The food isn’t the best but the atmosphere makes up for it.

My experience at the goathouse was astounding the bar tender was so friendly and had such big muscles, this place is must go.

For lunch, poached eggs hard, toast burnt on the bottom, bacon, supposed to be crispy, was soggy. Hot coffee was lukewarm. And yes I did tell our server, no reaction.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Overall the food is good, decent taste and good portion size, however the brunch is definitely on the pricier side ($32 for vege breakfast with 2 scrambled eggs). From my perspective, nothing amazing or special to justify the extra price.

The service was pretty average, a lot of staff standing around or watching however we had to walk up to them to ask for menus and took a long time for them to come over for us to order food. Also appeared to have a slight attitude, but understand not everyone is as bubbly as others.

Venue is in a great location and on a nice sunny day, definitely a good place to visit. Just felt there are better restaurants/cafes in the area with better pricing and service.

Great atmosphere for a breaky, lunch, dinner or just grabbing a few drinks! Awesome selection of Alcohol including a large range of gin, whisky.highly recommend!

Whoever the guy is at front of house (assuming manager) was amazing with accommodating us with our pram and baby with this hot weather. Give the man a raise

I sipped on my coffee quickly and decided not to order any food because I was told to put my laptop away in an unfriendly manner. Staff was generally unfriendly even before I took my laptop out. I was not even planning on staying long and there plenty of tables available. Never have I experienced such rudeness. Never again

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Usually excellent meals, but I was disappointed with the dessert on this occasion. It was okay, it just didn't live up to the quality of everything else.

Don’t bother coming here for a lunch meeting! I arrived 5m earlier than a friend I was meeting for a personal lunch and I opened an iPad to check something. Within 10 seconds the manager swooped and told me to close it and that devices were banned! He would not leave until I had done so.

I empathise and support hospitality businesses in wanting to stop their establishments being used as a quasi office. Not what patrons should do, but in this instance I had just sat down.

In a post-pandemic world, can small businesses afford to lose local customers like this?

Food and service were good.

There are plenty of other options in the area if you are meeting for a business lunch or coffee, or God forbid, meeting family and friends and wanting to pull the iPad out to show family some pics! If you are, choose another place…

Amazing restaurant that serves delicious food. I celebrated Christmad dinner with colleagues here few days ago and ordered a Lamb Salad. It was delish, the pumpkin puree was delicious and it came in a big portion (to me).

The restaurant is not too big, and there is an indoor and outdoor seating area. What's best about this place is the location that is just right next to the station and tram stop. Very convenient.

The staffs were very helpful, well trained, and work efficiently. Overall, I really enjoyed eating here.

Amazing food, love the atmosphere and super friendly staff had a great time. Would definitely go back with family and friends.
