Coombe Yarra Valley

What a beautiful place to visit. Stunning setting. Modern restaurant with glass walls on 3 sides. Top quality modern menu, food and service. The fellow in the cellar door was the most knowledgeable server we have ever come across when wine tasting. Interesting history of Dame Melba in the mini-museum too.

Not much available for vegetations had to order 2-3 sides. Shouldn't have to happen in today's society.

I have been to Coombe on a number of occasions for different events. The food and customer service is always 5 star, with an amazing setting/courtyard and the best staff (mention to Irene), it is a perfect venue for any lunch/dinner or event.

Had lunch at Coombe today with my family. The service was exceptional and the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend Coombe to anyone looking for a great place to go.

Had my Dads 70th here and the staff went above and beyond! Food and wine was amazing! They were very accommodating for the entire family and it truly was an event to be remembered.

Amazing croissants, wonderful decor, attentive staff, fresh scones.i've been searching for a place like this! And i was certainly not disappointed. Even though Bella Vedere used to be my go to place for croissants and a nice Coldstream breakfast until they shutdown, Coombe has certainly gone above and beyond my expectations. Will definitely be coming back!

Come here for the wine, not their food. We enjoyed ourselves despite our below average, overpriced meals. 4 people out of our party of 9 ordered steak and everyone's order was severely over cooked. If you want a medium rare steak, order it rare. By the time a waitress came around to check on us, we had all finished our meals because we were so hungry and were unable to send our plates back to the kitchen to show the chefs the problem. Our friends who ordered the lamb said it was delicious though. I would also avoid ordering the barramundi. Unfortunately our special afternoon together did not go smoothly, (we had to send the bill back twice to get corrected) but we enjoyed their wine tasting next door. Kelly's interaction with us was the highlight of our day! We will return for the wine and hospitality, but not lunch.
