They take care of my 17 year old cat beautifully. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I had to put my 3 month old baby kitten to sleep. I arranged to get a Wooden Photo Box and a Pendant with the Chain. I finally collected my little girl from my Vet and found the Pendant came with the Black Satin Cord and the Wooden Box I ordered was not the small one I ordered, well that side, I left the Ashes at the Vet and received a phone call from AWL the next day, they would send me the chain I originally ordered but had to either pick it up from their Edinburgh North Site on weekdays only or they could post it out to me for another $10.00 postage. I told the lady on the phone I have a 90 year old Mother to care for before work and don't finish work until 6.00 pm (I work in Health Care). I could not understand in these circumstances why they could not leave the goods / Ashes at the Front Reception Desk for collection. You can show your Drivers Licence to pick up your Pet's Ashes.
In the end I told her not to worry about it, I will purchase a chain myself. Having pets are not cheap, and you would almost cut your arm off for your pet, but $492.00 for an hour visit to SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital) now in Adelaide, and $470.00 for the Cremation and Goods I wanted, only be told I had to pay another $10.00 for postage for their mistake. Oh and don't tell me the candle you gave me was a free gift from AWL, because nothing in this life is free. Better to set up a website so customers can order on line, pay and nominate a Veterinary Clinic to deliver the Pets too.

Just picked the furry kids up from their most recent stay, and they seem to have had a good time as usual. They have come home happy and healthy (and smelling way better than when we dropped them off!). The staff are really nice, and they have plenty of little add on packages to let your pups be pampered. We have been bringing our dogs here for a couple of decades and haven't found a reason to take them anywhere else.

The staff at awl are very friendly and genuinely care for the animals. At our adoption appointment, they were evaluating the body language of the dogs to ensure that they were a good fit. They weren't but that's OK, 100% recommended

The people and facilities at AwL are excellent. Please help them with their work if you can.

Wonderful experience boarding our cat! Staff were lovely, cattery was clean and spacious, and our cat was so well looked after. Would definitely return.

Lost my family cat who’s loved dearly they say her adoptive name is lady but also say the finder of the cat still has her they refuse to give me any help in finding her they passed my details on to the man that has her but he never called it’s now days later and still no phone call they won’t give me any information about anything all I asked was for a street name so I could go looking for my own cat pumpkin as we want her back home safe where she belongs they refuse I have not had any help from them I would not go through wingfield AWL as they are very rude when trying to discuss the matter and have no care for a grieving family or the cats safety

AMAZING ORGANISATION.
We have gotten 2 of our fur babies from AWL in the last 3 years. AWL is absolutely amazing from the moment you pull in to the carpark to the moment you get home with your new family member.

Unfortunately, we have recently had to use their cremation service on Shadow, our beloved 11yo family member, and their service provided, and they way our beloved Shadow was returned to us was OUTSTANDING.

Tried to a adopt a dog but they make it really difficult. Website isn't kept up to date. I called about a particular dog asking was it still available they said yes and told to complete the application online. I did this and no one got back to me. I called several times and was fobbed off. Just told to apply online. I am an experienced dog owner especially with difficult, traumatized dogs. My last dog had anxiety and health issues including insulin dependant diabetes and I cared for him until the end. Really wanted to give another dog a second chance but apparently not with the AWL.

The staff have such compassion for the animals in their care. You can see they love every animal in their care. The office is new and modern and well set out. Really lovely facilities. Great place to get a animal that needs a home.

Very lovely staff helped me commemorate my beautiful pup after crossing the rainbow bridge. Very respectful and caring, thank you all so much for treating my sweet girl with such respect

Dropped the dog and cat off for another stay.

Well this is now the second time they have helped my Mum find her forever. The first was Buddy and my goodness he was wonderful. Now she has Marley, he's been with her 3 weeks now and he's such a handsome fella. He has given her the companionship and purpose she needed, and he will be so loved. Many happy years to come for the both of them.
The staff there are kind, compassionate and do their utmost to help rehome the animals that come to them.

AWL looks so nice after the renovation. We came back here after a long time and amazed how it is now. Staff are friendly, the rooms for animals are cared and cleaned nicely

We picked up Bella 2 weeks ago, and while the bigger cats are taking their time adjusting to Bella's confidence and playfulness, the humans are fighting over who gets to have the next cuddle.

We were very impressed with the housing and set up at Wingfield. The staff were lovely and obviously knew the cats who were in their care and we're able to guide our family to some suitable potential adoptees.

Animals were well cared for, well fed and happy in their lovely temporary homes.

Please consider adopting if your home and heart has space

No heart for my friend dying from cancer, couldn't help buy taking his dog, no time, all about money, 25 million dollar venue, never donate again, shame on you

Our 2 cats and 1 dog spent a week here. The cats were very chilled and enjoyed it. Our dog was very nervous for a couple of days because he's never been away from home before. But by the end, he came out of his shell. Seems very happy. Thanks heaps to everyone for looking after them so well
