81I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a local GP. All staff and doctors are very caring and take time helping you with all your health issues.
Receptionist Zunairah is very helpful, I was running late the other day for my doctors appointment and rang front desk she assisted me with that, very professional:)
Great bulk billing doctors practice that helped me with my issues. Dr. Qudsia is very knowledgeable in chronic condition management and is very polite. Overall a very positive experience at this practice
All the doctors are very kind and considerate, as they all are very professional especially Dr. Maimuna, and they all are cooperating and doing really good in this hard times. Hats off to all of them
They manage to take me on short notice. I cut myself badly and needed a tetanus shot ASAP
The nurse always does a good job.
Very busy practise but all staff seem calm and friendly.
They always do their best!

Today was our first visit to the doctors clinic. The nurse Jaswinder was great with my 18 months old son for his immunisation. 5 stars to nurse and staff

Just going to share my Views about Runcorn Medical practise
I have a phone appointment with Doctor Akbar 09 am
Which I booked day before and update my contact details …
I took a day off from work
Because I was sick and taking Panadol
No phone all day and when I ring them
Reception lady told me, you haven’t been to the practise for more than 1 year, so Doctor won’t able to consult over the phone ….
And also said we ring you couple of times
You haven’t answer, I replied I haven’t got any call
I said if that was the case should have told me yesterday or call me next day to let me know ….
So, I request and putting this review think twice to go there
There receptionist not have a any idea how to treat with patients, I said for future I better go to another doctor … and straight away hang up the phone …
Good on you Guys …. That’s how you gonna run this Medical practise shame on you
I don’t know why there is a booking system if you have to wait for more than 30 minutes.
Every time I book an appointment I have to wait for more than 30 minutes. I asked the receptionist twice about how much time I need to wait more. I was given an irrelevant reply. Very poor management system regarding the bookings. I am never coming to this clinic again. There is no proper system regarding appointments.
Every time I get the same reply the doctor is running late. If the doctor is running late the appointments should be taken accordingly.
Wait times of 40 minutes+ not worth it. It’s not that hard to give patients a call if doctors are running behind so they don’t waste their time.
Absolutely Rude and unprofessional service by the receptionist. I will not be attending ever ever again. I will not recommend this medical practice to anyone. It’s very sad as the doctor that treated me was lovely. To succeed in business you need to be nice the Indian/South African receptionist had no skills apart from attitude. I sat waiting for my turn to see the doctor and I heard her on the phone as well as patients entering and she was so rude. The owner of this practice needs to aware of their staff and how they treat people. Advice to the receptionist, learn manners as that will take you far in life!
Terrible time and schedule management i was waiting about 2 hours since 11.20 - 1.10 pm. I went to check with receptionist they just pushed me back to waiting line not even asked my name properly.once everything done, the receptionist even blame me that should have told and reminded them if notice my queue was skipped. Overall, Doctor was nice but service was terrible
The receptionist was very rude when I tried to grab a glass of water behind the reception. She insulted me infront of other patients even after I said sorry. The staff should not be so rude towards anyone… really felt bad.
I had visited this medical practice last year and the receptionist told me that she would claim the consultation directly to my insurance company. This afternoon, when I visited them again, one of the receptionist (she seemed to be a manager) said the company had rejected the claim and therefore I have to pay it out of my pocket money. I gently asked her to try claiming it again to the insurance company. She only tired to force me pay it immediately.
The truth was.my insurance company had already paid. She could have double checked before forcing me to pay twice and making me feel humiliated In front of other people.
+ Like other reviews, I also waited more than one hour even though I made an appointment. I had to apologize to delay the next appointments.
The doctors are not bad. But They prioritize walk in patients. Then What is the point of making appointments? I waited one hour even though I made an appointment. If you can’t control on time, you shouldn’t take bookings. If you are busy and fully booked, tell the walk in patients to book or introduce other gp. There are heaps of gps out there.
Excellent customer service. Reception staff is very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The doctors are very professional. Thanks to Runcorn family practices for such a wonderful experience.
Prioritises walk ins over appointments, waited over an hour and was told I was the next patient. Some how 3 families went ahead of me and they hadn’t checked me in via the health engine app until I had already been waiting 30 minutes. Absolute joke of a practice.
1and half hour waiting period which is quite long with doc. Tarawa Aslam. After that long time I came to know he is not in the clinic which is RIDICULOUS. I don't understand why he book appointments if he is not available that time.
This is the 3rd consecutive day when the receptionist lady put me on hold without even listening to me and never comes back
I have to go for injection which a doctor recommends me
How could i go without booking it?
Such a dreadful service
Dr. Maimuna Akbar is very passionate and caring Doctor. She’s very patient in listening to her patients. I have changed my doctor because I didn’t get the same comfort for my problems. Despite the wait the Care and help provided by Dr. Akbar is helpful not only to me and to my family as well. Other good thing I have is my husband can communicate easily due to doctor’s ability to communicate in other language.
I would highly recommend Dr. Akbar to my friends and family.
