McDonald's Doolandella

Came in store to order a sundae. I said to the girl can a order a “small chocolate sundae”. She replies we don’t do chocolate only hot fudge”. I’m like “well hot fudge”. I don’t know if she was being smart. They add cocoa to the sundae therefore it does contain chocolate.

Customer service is appalling, even from their own female store Manager. We could hear staff members from the drive through window dropping the F bomb complaining about another customer in the parking bay.

Really blown away with this MacDonald's whilst visiting from Sydney. Food was hot, nice and quick. The place was super clean and staff super friendly!

Food ordered missing, cardboard like nuggets and cardboard like chips, stale! If you want to eat cardboard, i highly recommend Doolandella McDonald's the one to go too.

The worst place I ordered fries for the kids and came home it was cold and dry no way I will never go back to this place kids didn’t eat it you deserve no star

Took me 30 minutes to get a coffee, one of my friends 15 minutes for a frozen coke and another 10 minutes for a soft serve. Giving it 2 stars for the sheer entertainment we had when we saw my coffee being remade about 10 times by the barista right in front of me, before someone else intervened and made it.

Waited over 10minutes for our meals in an empty store at 11pm. Ordered a classic Angus burger and received a bun, patty, sauce and onions. I should have just ordered a quarter pounder because that’s what this looks like. No lettuce, no tomato, no pickles. We go out of our way to Doolandella because Forest Lake is so bad but now it’s almost on par ‍️

Just went to the Doolandella location and got the grilled chicken salad and they forgot the chicken, the dressing and the pepitas sachet, so it’s just lettuce and tomatoes. How do you forget the chicken in a chicken salad!

Dirty tables - far below the franchise standards.
At least provide a sanitizer spray bottle so that customers can clean the tables.

Managers are rude and short with you, the younger staff are nicer, but they don't know what they're doing. I have NEVER received a completely correct order from this place, and they have very long wait times (not peak hour). Even after taking my order back to be corrected it's still wrong.

The worst time management of any location. 2 staff chatting at the pay window. Another 3 moving very slowly. I was first in line in the drive thru and all I ordered was a coffee that I waited nearly 10 mins for while the car behind me got there meal and left before me. Go to forest lake instead. The coffee also tasted yuck so I couldn't even drink it

One of the fastest McDonald's I've ever been to with the order being ready even before I sat down! And quality is up there still which I might say I was surprised at. Well done to the staff and management. Hats off keep them pumping out.

Absolutely useless service. My mother ordered a 6 nugget happy meal for my younger brother, which they forgot everything but the apple juice. I then proceeded to order him another happy meal, and a triple cheeseburger meal for myself, which they also forgot to add. Whether this is the fault of the uber driver or the staff, it is completely unacceptable and displays a lack of responsibility and focus.

Was there this morning and its funny coz i caugth a girl taking selfie while serving.then she realised i saw her. Lol. Some young ones these day dont care about thier job.only care about how they look! Please do your job right like the others there this morning.

My takeaway order was missing a cheeseburger.
The bigmac was cold and I had to microwave it. The thin patties in the bigmac looked like it was 1 but slit in the middle to make 2 to save on meat.
The self serve machine had a printer error so had to tell the counter staff what I ordered.

Keep driving, don't bother stopping

OK, I'm not going to really rate the food, as it's Maccas after all. So. Yes the Big Mac was as usual tasty, the chips nice n crisp. However, what I liked was their Covid-safe plan complete with electronic sign in using the barcode, the contactless ordering, the table distancing, and prominently placed hand sanitizers. The young female waitress was helpful, offering to assist with technology if we needed it. Well done, Maccas Doolandella!
Update Jun22 - most ordering facilities now via machine, altho one can order from the counter too. Good that they still have anti-bacterial sprays for one's hands.

Didn't serve us lmao when it says open 24 hours. Literally served 2 other customers in the store. They lazy cause they don't have wifi signal.

Have ordered on ubereats twice and there have been multiple items missing both times. Would give a zero star if I could.

Officially the dirtiest toilets ever. I work roadside and use a lot of public toilets. Twice I have been to this maccas and their toilets are filthy. Makes me NOT want to eat there.

Worst drive through here. Asked for a dinner box got sorry we can't do it. Due to shortage of staff. So we order 4 separate meals. What a joke. Staff here are rude. Definitely need a manager on shift at all times.
