This experience was terrible the girl was rude unhelpful and the dresses (formal) were like supre dress only they were old fashion looked second hand with pulls and stains. Waste of time as their website is NOT up to date so what I was looking for wasn't even there. A smile wouldn't kill you shop girl.
I recently went into LUV at harbour town to retry some dresses and also sample some new styles. As soon as we walked in from the pouring rain, my mother in law was abruptly asked “where is your mask? ”. My mother in law was trying to dry her hands to get the mask out. Once I had checked us in I spoke with Cherie who asked if I had been to LUV before. I stated yes once. Cherie then proceeded to tell me “well you know how the process goes”. I asked Cherie what dresses she had in my size. Cherie stated all except pronovias. I described the type of dresses I was after that day to try on. Cherie remained sitting on her bottom behind the desk stating “We don’t have that, or that”. My mother in law had to log onto LUV website to bring up the dresses I wanted to try on.
When asked what dresses she did have to sample I was informed that those dresses were out of my budget. When a firm budget was not given. Cherie did not suggest a single dress for me to try on. Cherie made me feel as if I was intruding on her time. Whilst I was trying on dresses my mother in law was asked to pull her mask up which had slid down, three other office staff members were not wearing masks or incorrectly wearing masks.
Whilst undoing my last dress Cherie asked what’s stopping me from buying a dress today. I stated that I was not happy with any dresses provided. I had sampled four dresses and was on the verge of tears. Cheries rude attitude and poor customer service was disgusting. Last time I attended LUV I was paired up with Jo, who was amazing! She made trying on dresses a magical moment, which it should be.
I will not be recommending LUV to any of my friends or family. I will also be purchasing my wedding dress elsewhere.
Worst customer I’ve ever experienced. Walked in and before I even got a hello a blonde lady in her 50’s told me they are all on a lunch break. Was going to book an appointment here for my wedding, but I will never walk in here again or recommend this to anyone.

From the moment my daughter and I walked in, to the moment we left, we were so disappointed in this store.
When we walked in, we were introduced to our Salesperson for the day who then told us look around and she would come back later. She obviously needed her smoke, because when she came back she was reeking of cigarettes! Not very professional.
The store was very hot and not very comfortable for trying on dresses.
My daughter chose a few dresses, but she did not receive any guidance on what would suit her or any other suggestions.
We did receive a glass of bubbly (in plastic flutes).
The dresses were taken into the fitting rooms and my daughter was left to put the dresses on herself, with no assistance from the Salesperson. That is because the Salesperson was checking and fixing her own makeup in the mirrors of the store!
My daughter appeared hot and bothered from the fitting room and when she was seeing how the dress was, the Salesperson just turned her back on us and wandered away. Needless to say, we never purchased a dress from this store.
I was so disgusted in the lack of professionalism of this Salesperson. I would never recommend this store to anyone.
The service was appalling! Newly engaged, this is the first bridal store I went to and I was highly disappointed at the lack of acknowledgement I received. It took at staff member 20 minutes to shout over the counter ‘hello’ and walk away again. Not impressed and a bad first experience.
DO NOT BOTHER. I put a deposit on my dream dress, return for a second fitting and it had a foundation stain near the zip and smelt of fish. They did not refund my deposit due to it being a sample. Will be reporting to consumer affairs.
Went there to look at my bridal dress and my MOH dress in the morning, weren’t acknowledged for at least 10 mins before something asked us if we needed help. When I said we were looking and maybe trying some on, I was told they were fully booked! We were there for around 25 mins and no customers were in store, plenty of staff, obviously not willing to help or want a sale! Very disappointed! They just lost Around $4000 today.

I've never written a negative review for any business but feel strongly enough to post this publicly. I've sent 2 emails directly which I would expect a reputable company would reply to however after a week still no response therefore this review. We bought my daughters wedding dress from Luv Bridal Gold Coast and had a lovely attendant and were very happy with the fittings, gown choices and experience. My daughter decided on a gown and excitedly awaited collection day. It was last Tuesday at an allocated time and so far so good.and that's as far as it went. On collection she was rushed in to try it on and get out asap, 15 minutes all up. Although her measurements hadn't changed since sizing the dress needs alot of alterations and what's most disappointing is the fact we spent thousands of dollars on a dress that was presented to her in a broken plastic bag! The zip didn't work and the side and bottom of garment bag was split open not protecting anything. Now besides more money having to be spent on alterations we also need to buy a decent protective garment bag. I feel the sale was important to the business but the following customer service (none) and presenting the gown in a broken, split bag is very poor and reflects badly on the business only thing importantto them was getting the sale. My soon to be son in law's suit was limited edition and a fraction of the price and sold in a lovely breathable garment cover, nothing like my daughters ripped broken garbage bag. Note to brides to be - do yourself a favour and shop around if you want complete professional customer service.
Gorgeous dress, but disappointed with customer service. Upon initial consultation I was told that the shipment in November would arrive "just in time" for my wedding in October. I could go on and on about my unpleasant experience here. I'd recommend going somewhere that's more invested in providing great service rather than just making the sale.
Great first experience on purchases and lady was lovely and went above and beyond and happy to sale but on going back to pick up.not such a great experiences. Here's your dress try it on then the worker sat behind the counter waiting the rest of payment taping her pen! When spending alot of money at a store you would think you could at least smile and make the bride to be feel happy!
Increadibly rude staff, couldn't even lift her head as we entered the shop. Refused to show dresses over suggested price point. Refuse to show dresses with sleeves and had such a poor rage of wedding dresses for anyone over a size 10. Dirty dresses to try on with sweat stains. Would not recommend at all. Increadibly dissatisfied by luv bridal.

Awsome experience. I hadn't made an appointment, but thought I'd call in and check out the range anyway. Cherie had half an hour till her next bride arrived and was more than happy to show me a few gowns in that time. She brought me about six or seven gowns and gave great advice. I made the decision and had my gorgeous gown just as the next bride arrived. Happy as.
Jo is and was absolutely fabulous. She knew exactly what would look awesome for my body shape. Amazing service smooth transaction.
Went in to look for a dress with my sister for her wedding yesterday and the service was absolutely amazing. We had an appointment with Jada and she made my sister/ all of us feel so welcome. She was so accommodating, listened to what my sister was after, suggested ideas and was just an all round lovely person with a great personality. Would highly recommend for everyone to book an appointment at Luv Bridal!

I had a great experience at Luv Bridal Harbourtown today. Cherie helped me find my perfect dress at a great price and knew the styles that would suit me. I had an idea of what I thought I wanted going in and Cherie provided several dresses in different styles for me to try. The dresses look so different when on compared to photos so it was very helpful to have guidance. I would definitely recommend Luv Bridal to others.
Jo (harbourtown) was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Jo was so helpful and best in the business.
