59 I was sold a Nokia X20 in an already opened box, decided I wanted a refund (within 30 days) and was denied a refund as "we can't give you a refund because of change of mind". On their website it clearly states otherwise and it was sold to me in an already opened box so rules out the "Product Return Status".
The Kiwi lady who sold it to me initially was nice, very accommodating and patient but the guy who denied the refund just left a salty experience for me for this store. He needs to be reminded that change of mind refunds are allowed. Imbecile.
More space and less crowded than Chermie, but don't offer as many deals as the staff at Chermie do — they're always looking to give you a good discount. That saying, the employees here are really nice and are always super helpful and ready to listen. They are more patient than Chermie and are generally more ready to help you with tech questions or issues, because the store isn't as busy. Thanks guys!
Great staff, and they had the last CD player I have been chasing for 5months well worth the 4hr one way trip.
I could find everything I needed and had good advice when I asked for some information on items.
About J B Hifi in general: There are many products which are listed on the website which arent actually available in store. You may have to order and it might arrive after more than a month. I was specifically looking for air purifiers, but was disappointed. Not going to wait a month.
About this store: Happy that I got a 49 inch TV at an unbelievably cheap price, but that was 2 years ago. Now when I went in, I was negotiating for a TV 5 times the old TV's price, and they weren't interested in the least. They actually showed me a display piece, and expected that I was going to buy that (no way). Also, they don't actually care about matching a competitor's price.
And lastly, I frequently get gifted JB HiFi gift cards which I could use in this store, but I feel they're wasted considering how expensive everything actually is.
The problem with most home super stores that I can put frustrated we are just walking around in circles no one doesn’t come up and says hi can I give your hand now I do you think now and then when you’ve got no idea what you’re looking for Christmas shopping done renovations customer service That got to do bit better hook line and sinker
Terrible customer service, definitely wouldn’t recommend. Firstly, I looked online on the website for something I wanted and it said they had it here in stock. So, I went to the store and would you know it, they didn’t have it in stock and the reason why it was displaying as in stock was because of “an error in the faulty stock”. This is quite bad because some people could’ve driven all the way there if they lived far away only to find it wasn’t in stock. Next, the staff were extremely condescending and were implying that it was your issue and not ours. I had to organise a store transfer pickup for the particular item I wanted as another store in the city had stock. They were disorganised and took 15 minutes just to make a phone call with the other store. Next, it was scheduled that pickup would be ready on Thursday but they didn’t end up texting me until the next day (Friday) when I was busy for the rest of the week until the next Thursday. However, when I picked it up there was much better service (due to different staff on) and it was quick and easy.
Overall, don’t trust the website as it displays false information about stock. Staff were rude and didn’t know customer service very well. Won’t be going back to this store.
Bought a new laptop, happy to price match when they have items in stock. Layout of store is confusing and one can get lost easily.
Bought Samsung Tablet S7, had a major software issue. Took it back, explained the problem to Perry, who was extremely helpful and exchanged with a replacement tablet. Very professional.
The home store doesn't offer much more than most regular JB HIFI stores these days. Of the gaming chairs, gaming tables and monitors available online, the floor selection is extremely limited and you cannot see the product before you buy it. This also includes the projector range.
Staff were excellent really helpful but the pre-paid phone cards are out of date more attention required in this instant
So much bigger than carindale. Staff are very helpful. Security was great as well, Very respectful and friendly unlike carindale I will definitely be shopping here again
Hadn't been at this site for a while. It has had a major refit and has modernized the shop big time. I had a phone screen protector problem and was looked after by a young lady, fixing my problem with a lot of professionism above and beyond. Still trying to remember her name it starts with a C, because she deserves a lot of praise.
No stock on show even though Web site said that they do.
No service asked at desk saud there was 2. I know call for someone waited 14 mins no show. Walked around area gave up. This is the 3nd time this happen. Never going back to that store again. Waste of time.
I got what i wanted and they are great however two female workers were chatting and saw us approaching them to ask a question then they walked away and started chatting elsewhere. This was quite shocking to say the least.
Typical jbhifi, long waits with repeated attempts to upsell and and complicated systems that staff seem to struggle with.
I did get a knowledgeable and experienced sales dude but the repeated attempts to upsell made me not want to go back.

Dont bother with online. If your not home for delivery then prepare for some annoyance. Try to organise a re-delivery.call Toll - then call JB HIFI. Get the run around to many departments. First and last online with JB Hifi.
How about authority to leave? Who is home these days during the day? Online deliveries need to be better streamlined for the customer not for the company. Shouldn't have to chase.
This is my go to store for electronic items, DVD's and BLU RAYS. I have just recently visited the store so I could buy a GARMIN 6X PRO, triathlon waterproof watch. I had bought my Garmin 5, at half price as JB Carseldine last Christmas. But ad far as electronic equipment, they stock a wide range, from TV's, bar speakers, stereos, drones, phones and accessories. Box sets for series, computer and console games, accessories, records, headphones, computers, and a multitude of other products. So worth a visit, or look up the online catalogue, they currently have black Friday sales, I bought a nearly $8000 TV for only $4350, with free delivery.
Fantastic customer service! Greeted at the door by a very polite Security/Loss Prevention Officer.
After a few minutes wandering around waiting was attended to by a very helpful staff member. Explained the issues with internet and WiFi I was having and was offered a solution. The store was very busy (Thursday night) I am very low tech and your staff member gave me the time and explained in detail the product he had offered. I was very impressed with his level of knowledge and his patience nothing was too much trouble.
