Terrible customer service, definitely wouldn’t recommend. Firstly, I looked online on the website for something I wanted and it said they had it here in stock. So, I went to the store and would you know it, they didn’t have it in stock and the reason why it was displaying as in stock was because of “an error in the faulty stock”. This is quite bad because some people could’ve driven all the way there if they lived far away only to find it wasn’t in stock. Next, the staff were extremely condescending and were implying that it was your issue and not ours. I had to organise a store transfer pickup for the particular item I wanted as another store in the city had stock. They were disorganised and took 15 minutes just to make a phone call with the other store. Next, it was scheduled that pickup would be ready on Thursday but they didn’t end up texting me until the next day (Friday) when I was busy for the rest of the week until the next Thursday. However, when I picked it up there was much better service (due to different staff on) and it was quick and easy.

Overall, don’t trust the website as it displays false information about stock. Staff were rude and didn’t know customer service very well. Won’t be going back to this store.

No stock on show even though Web site said that they do.
No service asked at desk saud there was 2. I know call for someone waited 14 mins no show. Walked around area gave up. This is the 3nd time this happen. Never going back to that store again. Waste of time.

A little tired of this particular store. Had issues here before just with basic service, and now at 25 minutes past 5 I get turned away from the locked door trying to pick something up because obviously they want to try and get everyone out and finished by 5: 30pm. Although I understand that must be frustrating, they should close at 5pm if that’s the case but - if you say you are open you are open. All systems say at 5: 25pm the store is open. Just reminds me to spend more time on Amazon.com.

Waited for 20 minutes and got ignored. 2 to 3 staff stood together chatting and did not once asked if we needed assistance. We came down for nothing. Should have got it from Office Work. Very disappointed. Even a little got upset as we wanted to get her a watch. Lost some gadgets sell. But guess JB does not care.

THIS STORE DOESN'T PRICE MATCH.
We called this store on Saturday 10th July at 2.30pm. We had gone to Big W Strathpine to pick up a Nintendo Switch, only to find that they had sold it. Called JB, they had it in stock. Asked if they would to PRICE MATCH the opposition. I quoted Target and Big W stores were I could get the item. No good, refused to price match.
Quote "Our price promise
We will enthusiastically match the price of an identically stocked competitor product. "

Unfortunately the customer service was awful. I waited some time for someone to approach me but to no avail, then after approaching someone (who turned-out to be a storeman, but promised to issue an alert to my need) - I returned to wait a further 20+ minutes, but again to no avail.

I would say they have bad service but I couldn't get anyone to serve me. If you have a pocket full of cash and want to buy something don't go to JB hi fi Carseldine you will be disappointed

Internet says store open at 9.30am on Sunday. What a waste of time sitting outside for no good reason as door says store is not open til 10am

Friday afternoon and I've had aissue with a return. So as per the policy on the return side of the receipt I troubleshoot it with the manufacture, to no good help in resolving the issue. As I was told to do by the manufacturer, was to return the faulty item for a refund, replacement and the hostility that ii received from a large man named Benjamin a very large statured man at about 150kg and six foot seven was play the critical solution that it was just a update not a software problem, then I'm told repeatedly I'm wrong and we can not give a resolution to the problem that you want. Very disappointed and frustrating, I expect a lot more from customer service.

I was sold a Nokia X20 in an already opened box, decided I wanted a refund (within 30 days) and was denied a refund as "we can't give you a refund because of change of mind". On their website it clearly states otherwise and it was sold to me in an already opened box so rules out the "Product Return Status".

The Kiwi lady who sold it to me initially was nice, very accommodating and patient but the guy who denied the refund just left a salty experience for me for this store. He needs to be reminded that change of mind refunds are allowed. Imbecile.

About J B Hifi in general: There are many products which are listed on the website which arent actually available in store. You may have to order and it might arrive after more than a month. I was specifically looking for air purifiers, but was disappointed. Not going to wait a month.

About this store: Happy that I got a 49 inch TV at an unbelievably cheap price, but that was 2 years ago. Now when I went in, I was negotiating for a TV 5 times the old TV's price, and they weren't interested in the least. They actually showed me a display piece, and expected that I was going to buy that (no way). Also, they don't actually care about matching a competitor's price.

And lastly, I frequently get gifted JB HiFi gift cards which I could use in this store, but I feel they're wasted considering how expensive everything actually is.

Dont bother with online. If your not home for delivery then prepare for some annoyance. Try to organise a re-delivery.call Toll - then call JB HIFI. Get the run around to many departments. First and last online with JB Hifi.

How about authority to leave? Who is home these days during the day? Online deliveries need to be better streamlined for the customer not for the company. Shouldn't have to chase.

Took way to long for some on to serve me as i waited 20 mins then went and asked someone to send help in the appliance department only to wait another 20 mins for a guy not to show up. Another staff memember finished up with a couple and i pretty much sold the item to myself as i didnt want to wait around any longer as i had my son with me. In the end Teddy got everything sorted but maybe you could do with more staff or more staff wanting to help, it didnt look very busy

They had what I needed, at a reasonable price. Just don't go there expecting service of any sort without having to actually go and ask for it. Appalling is the only way to describe it. Though I suppose non-existent would also work.
It's a box store electronics shop. It's no better or worse than most other places you can buy the same product at the same price.

If you come here for movies. Then you'll be disappointed. Easily one of the worst selections in brisbane and it surrounding areas. Staff are nice though.

Went to JB to buy dishwasher waited for service, then had to ask for service.sales guy was quiet friendly and arrogant.had a chat about item and price only could give $5 discount. Told me they are the sole distributor cannot get a better deal. Went to opposition got $25 discount extra year warranty and free delivery on item (beko dishwasher)

The home store doesn't offer much more than most regular JB HIFI stores these days. Of the gaming chairs, gaming tables and monitors available online, the floor selection is extremely limited and you cannot see the product before you buy it. This also includes the projector range.

I got what i wanted and they are great however two female workers were chatting and saw us approaching them to ask a question then they walked away and started chatting elsewhere. This was quite shocking to say the least.
