I placed an order from Billy J a few months ago and didn't like the dress so I sent it back ($10 postage). I then ordered the Tamara Dress (another $10 postage) and couldn't believe how cheap the quality was! It looked totally different to the images online and it was definitely not a $65 dress. So I sent that back too (another $10 postage) and asked if they would consider giving me a refund because I hadn't been happy with the quality and didn't want to continue ordering from them. They sent me an email that was clearly just copied and pasted about their easy returns policy (they hadn't read my email at all) and I had to email them another two times before someone actually read and responded to it and I just received another credit note.

I just bought the Brielle playsuit (another $10 postage) and it's arrived and the photos on the website are obviously edited because the colour doesn't match at all. It looks much more red on the website but is actually very orange. To send it back will be another $10 postage, then another $10 to get something else - I give up. I've spent $40 on postage so far, their customer service is terrible, and the products look totally different online than they do in person.

Would not recommend anyone shop there.

I had an awesome experience with Billy J buying online, delivery was fast and dresses were perfect! Their service was impeccable when i had an incident with one of the dresses and they sent a replacement out 1 week later with a 20% off discount code on my next order. Highly recommend!

I brought a dress and after one wear and wash the dress shrunk with following the washing instructions. After sending a email to a customer service rep I was instructed to send back the dress to receive a refund for a faulty product.
Once they received the dress I got another email stating that I would not receive a refund and that the dress was getting sent back to me.
I am so disappointed that I now have a dress that has shrunk a company that doesn't seem to care about their product quality and a customer service team that treat their customers terribly. I will never buy from this company again.

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They didn't have it delivered to my home, the wrong address was labeled. They refuse to give a refund or an update on anything unless you contact them. Shocking customer service especially during COVID and Christmas, you would expect a company to have some heart and give you a refund when they are at fault. Never shopping with them again.

I wouldn't shop here again. I brought the Josie midi dress for a special event, arrived with loose threading everywhere and seams lifting at the bottom from manufacturing. Had very unhelpful customer service, no accountability, I returned the product quickly and politely. No notice of it being received but was sent a gift card for lesser than the amount paid. Luckily I had opened a case with PayPal who agreed it wasnt in good condition and granted a full refund. I usually like supporting Australian boutiques but this wasn't a great experience, and they hold no responsibility for their products lacking in quality. A little more care for manufacturing quality and finish, and better customer care when handling a return of any damage would benefit the business greatly.

I wish I could give no stars. I ordered a dress from Billy j and was mildly dismayed to discover the dress made it appear I had a tail. It was also irritating that my nude g string was clearly visible from all angles. Although I am not against undergarments I found it inappropriate for anywhere other than a strip club.

Very disappointed in Billy J, whilst they stock the same items as other Australian boutiques there prices are much higher! If you also get something on sale the customer services team (Taylor) wont help you or even go the extra mile to assist you like other companies who will. (Spoke to her in August 2020)
I find them very money hungry hence why they never have a sale on.....

Fastest delivery EVER! I did an order at 1245pm and it was on my door step at 330pm SAME DAY! 23rd December how amazing is that?
Clothes are so lovely and soft, have done 2 large orders and everything is amazing!

Absolutely love Billy J boutique’s clothing items! Was so happy with my purchase, when my clothes didn’t fit I sent them back and they provided me with a credit gift card refund which is amazing! Their customer service team is great! Highly recommend them:)

I’m a frequent online shopper and have been so impressed by Billy J. I am obsessed with almost everything on their website! I ordered a few items and my package arrived so quickly in the mail! I definitely would recommend and will be ordering from Billy J again:)

I have very mixed opinions on this botique.
On the one hand i found the perfect pair of flowy shorts (leto shorts), so perfect that i ordered another in the same colour and a third in a different colour only to try them on and have them both feel like a completely different pair of shorts with different material, no lining AND different sizing despite all being a size 10.

Everything else that I have ordered has been an uncomfortable material, cheaply made and an unusual fit.

I'm really disapointed about the shorts being a completely different make to the original I purchased and upset knowing that I won't be able to get my money back for it. At this point I only keep returning my items and getting more to use up my store credit notes on the off chance that something might work for me.

Poor customer service

After spending $500 at this boutique store, multiple items were not as pictured and did not fit. Following the policy I have sent these back in the 14 day period. I had only tried on these items and removed straight away when I realised they did not fit. The customer service team now claim they smell, not sure how when I had just showered before trying them on. Will not be spending another cent with store.

I received wonderful customer service in the Kawana store. My sister and I were shopping with two small kids and often find when we enter boutique type stores we are rarely offered genuine assistance and kindness. The lovely lady who assisted us provided that service and made us feel like valued customers. She was kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. Great customer service leaves a lasting impression and we will definitely return in future.

I purchased a jumpsuit online. I was expecting to receive a white/creamy jumpsuit, as this is what was shown in the images on their website, but the item that arrived was like an oatmeal colour.
It’s not what I wanted and it’s not the same colour as the item that’s on their website.
I sent the item back because I wanted a full refund, for both postage costs and for the item.
They refuse to issue me a refund even though their customer service team acknowledge that - quote: “The item may appear slightly brighter on the website, this can happen with the use of a flash. "
Flash or not. The item I received is not the same as the one in the image and it is misleading.
Don’t shop from them.
They don’t care about customers.
I would have gladly shopped again with this brand if they resolved the issues, but now I’ll never shop with them and I’ll make sure my friends & family don’t as well.
IN RESPONSE TO THE REPLY: both the standard images & video show a creamy white coloured jumpsuit. NOT the same colour as what I received, even if I was to stand in the sunlight or have beams of light on me.
It’s misleading!
Consumer affairs would have a field day with your brand. It’ll catch up eventually.

I purchased a dress to wear to an event however when I received it, the dress had a hole in it. I sent it back requesting a refund. I followed the policy rules- I returned it with tags and unworn within the 7 days. My request for a refund was refused due to the "minor" hole. I am now left with a credit note. Very disappointing and poor customer service.
