Billy J Boutique

Not only are their clothes quality but so is their customer service. Will definitely be shopping Billy J for both their causal and formal wear again.

I love shopping at Billy J Boutique, I recently found them on Insta and since my first purchase I’ve loved every item / all items received come exactly as what they are advertised, the quality, the fit and even the price it’s a bundle deal, not only are the clothes amazing and the prices but they deliver with amazing postal services, my order was express delivered and after ordering it late afternoon the next day I had it on my doorstep/ couldn’t rate them highly enough!

Unfortunately I've found that Billy J sells clothing which greatly fluctuates in both size and quality. I have purchased some beautiful items from them in the past, but this experience really put me off.

Their return policy allows an opportunity for the company to make an unnecessary profit. You can expect to pay an $8 fee to return a sale item (this was applicable at the time of my purchase), however the fee doesn't apply to full priced items.

In my case, I had to return two items one of which was faulty (A dress labeled size 8, which had size 14 measurements). I had to cover the cost of return shipping and was told this would be refunded IF the item was deemed faulty.

The company immediately issued me with a credit note for both items instead of a refund for the faulty item. Upon e-mailing Billy J they claimed they had tried the item on and had found no fault.
The issue was partly resolved only through opening a PayPal dispute.

In response to Billy J's comment:

The following was the companies response to my request for a faulty item to be refunded without a restocking fee.

"Unfortunately we are unable to waive your return fee as we are unable to fund free returns at this stage but hopefully this is something we can offer in the future "

"We have enquired with our returns department and they have informed us that your return was tried on and compared with stock on hand and your return has NOT been deemed faulty. This style is a relaxed fit and this is the first piece of negative feedback we have received regarding this item.

Our size guide on our website is purely just a 'guide' and if you need more accurate measurements for an item, you're more than welcome to contact us and we can help assist with sizing to avoid disappointment as the different brands we carry can sometimes vary with sizing.

High quality products for the price. All my dresses were lined and I found the sizing was very accurate.

I have shopped both online and in the Kawana store. I have loved my purchases. When i ordered online, my order came quickly and I had my last minute outfit sorted for my sisters birthday! I was really impressed with the fit and quality. I love the Kawana store the staff are always so friendly and helpful.

I found BillyJ a few years ago and love every piece I have bought. The clothing is great quality and true to size. I like how much variety and great range they have to offer. And now instead of just ordering online, they have opened a store that I can shop in. Thank you BillyJ for giving girls variety and beautiful clothing to wear!

PSA All Customers - returns are store credit only and they make international customers pay for return shipping. Not worth it and poor customer service. Spread the word!

Edit: shipping is with DHL so it cost me $30 in taxes/duties to get the parcel to Canada. Just something to be aware of (:

I was reading the reviews and came across mostly positive and some negative, BUT that didn't stop me from trying this boutique out my self.

I ordered two satin dresses in a size 14 about 2 days ago and I received them today. They fit perfectly (true to size), material feels worthy and postage was fast.
I will have to see how they are when worn for a long time.
Also, it's great that they send a care information note.

First time ordering from this Boutique was intrigued as they had some nice items. I purchased a few and one dress I sent back because the fit was wrong. I asked for a monetary refund and they wouldn’t give me one. When I emailed customer service all she could do was send me a link about there refund policy. The dress I purchased wasn’t designed for women with large breast. Anyway was disappointed they only gave me gift card. Will use it and that’s it.

It’s safe to say I buy 90% of my wardrobe from Billy J.
The clothes arrive fast, are always good quality and are well priced.

Have ordered a couple of times and loved all of the items i've gotten so far <3 The quality is really well made and soft. I got a few bodysuits which are my favourite! It is very comfortable to wear. Definitely recommend:) The sizing is quite accurate (from my experience) for me. Idk about bigger sizes but i'm an XS and 6 was perfect.

Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the products and service I have received from Billy J Boutique. The items I purchased arrived packaged beautifully and felt like such great quality. However, unfortunately when I washed one of the dresses in accordance with the wash instructions on the tag (which I always strictly follow) after just one wear, the expensive dress shrunk significantly to the point it is unwearable after one wash. I gave this company the benefit of the doubt that there could have been a material issue with their supplier etc and sent a reasonable email awaiting their reply and offer to rectify the issue (like most professional businesses) but instead my email was just ignored. I then came here and saw the large amount of bad reviews and bad star rating which would have made me think twice before purchasing such a significant amount of items from them had I realised they are a dodgy company. I will only purchase from companies who I know will do the right thing should any issues occur which provides buyer satisfaction and security. Unfortunately isn’t one of those companies. So disappointed when I thought I finally found a brilliant clothing boutique.: (

I have met almost all their team members, all being very professional. This is a girls dream warehouse. So much stock and they have a shop in Kawana Shopping World.

Purchasing from Billy J is so convenient for busy people like myself. I had an issue and Sarah at Customer Service sorted it out without hesitation. Thanks guys!
