Battery World

Called to ask if they would price match a battery from another retailer. I was abruptly told, "buy it from them". That was it. Made my decision pretty simple.

Have been dealing with this store for awhile now and the young men are fantastic to deal with but the older fellow needs to retire already, He is always in a mood and very arrogant. I shudder each time I see him slouched behind the computer when I walk in luckily half the time he wont acknowledge you.

Worst service I have ever experienced, uncaring staff who just make excuses and hope you go away, do not stand behind the products they sell, do not know how to properly test deep cycle batteries, took 5 weeks to do a a simple load test which isn't the correct way to test these batteries refused to give me my money back when both batteries failed, verified by two other shops batteries had dead cells, don't buy Century deep cycle batteries.

Went to buy a mobile phone battery today. Very angry rude man yelling that he has nothing to do with battery world company

Reading the reviews here, I will agree with all the negative comments and take the positive with a grain of salt. They did not want to explain correctly why their battery did not fit my device but, preferred to argue instead of explaining clearly. Then they had the gaul to tell me to take my business to JayCar and then turned their back on me and walked away. Extremely rude. Based on that I'll recommend you also go shop elsewhere to get better service and exactly what you require as I did afterwards.

Poor attitude & couldn’t even be bothered to check the Amp Hr rating of a battery I needed. Not the first time I have been spoken down to by the owner & I purchase 3 to 5 batteries a year from bikes to trucks. Never again will I buy from BW Chermside or Albion.
On the other hand a quick call to another branch & was treated normally & question answered within 2 minutes.

Only deal with these guys if you have to. Ordered a battery and paid for it. Working to a deadline as we are going away. Waiting for them to call as promised they would as soon as it came in. Didn't call as they forgot who was calling whom. Told that the battery i was now getting was different to what was ordered. This battery I found online for $70 cheaper then what they were offering it for. Yes they offered me a full refund but as I am going away that day i had no choice but to accept. Very disappointing.

The worse costumer service I have ever seen before, just this branch as the other branches are better in costumer service.

Appalled at how dishonest the staff here were. They flat out told me rubbish to get me to buy something I didnt need.

HOW DISGUSTING! AFTER GETTING A REFUND FOR A BATTERY THEY PROVIDED TO MY WIFE THAT WAS AN OVERPRICED SUPERCHEAP BATTERY THEY LAUGHED AT THE FACT MY WIFE HAD TO LIFT THE BATTERY BY HERSELF BECAUSE SHE WOULDNT PAY $30 FOR FITTING OF THE OLD BATTERY!

Staff very impatient. They just asume they are the only one know the battery, everyone is idiot.

I had to go here due to Bunnings not having the battery I needed. Unfortunately the battery I had to buy at battery world was double the price of the exact same one at Bunnings.

I rang Battery World Chermside chasing an uncommon car battery after visiting two battery providers and calling another two battery world stores which didn't have what I needed. The lovely gentlemen here assured me they had what I needed and when I arrived they had it waiting for me at the counter. Their customer service was great, and they were very friendly. I would recommend these fellows to everyone.

Knowledgeable staff and they had both batteries I was looking for in stock. Fitted the car battery and explained why I needed the size and spec recommended.

The staff here know their products and love their bikes. Worth paying a little more for good quality products and great advice.

The team is very professional and they go out of their way to provide the best possible service.

Great to drop off domestic dry cell batteries and old laptop batteries. Helpful counter service.

All I can say what amazing people that are working at battery world chermside the new owner is 2nd to none I had issues with my battery and she was quick to help me out and point me in the right direction to resolve the issue with my bike battery the service is impeccable I will 1000% be a returning customer and I will also be posting it up on my group chat to let all my fellow riders know were to go next time they need a battery I can not stress it enough to anyone reading this post to go to battery world chermside. Thankfully one of the few open actually on a Sunday, had a battery issue, the manager spotted the issue and rectified it easily, friendly and polite, great service
