Subaru Waitara

Having never bought a new car before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Nik really took care of us and even though our delivery date was Dec 31st he hussled to get it here 2 days before Xmas. Nothing is a trouble, he is always available and excellent at communicating. Wouldn’t hesitate it recommending Subaru Waitara and Nik to anyone wanting to make buying a new car easier

It was an ok service, alex was friendly but when I first arrived asking questions about one of the cars seemed not that interested.ended up with a tesla and service was ok but knowing that I was coming from goulburn you'd think they would have fully charged the car? Dont think I am that fussy.also the promo they advertise conveniently didnt apply.

3 weeks later I am still waiting on a refund of the initial deposit. I've had to follow up a couple of times.

My wife Cheryl, and I took delivery of her new Subaru XV S this morning. We were very impressed with our Sales Consultant Damien Kelly from our first meeting. We found him to be helpful and courteous, without being pushy. At the handover, we were astounded with the amount of time Damien spent with us, explaining all of the cars functions, and how to operate them.

Great service with experience team. Explained what was done in detail and asked if I needed any more information on the service.

Salesman, Damien Kelly could not have been more obliging, helpful and knowledgeable. He understood what I was looking for, was patient with my numerous visits and questions, and helped make the decision on my new car purchase easy. Got told that they cannot sell me parts from their spares department because the lady who runs it is sick with covid and i should come back in a few weeks when she is back at work or drive to Artarmon subaru.

The gentlemen at Subaru Waitara were fabulous. They listened to our concerns and found the cause of the problem that we had been complaining about for over a year to another service center. They even fixed ones we hadn't mentioned. Very thorough and customer service is fantastic. No complaints here.

Even though they are struggling with staff shortages during this time, Subaru Waitara is still able to offer the usual smiling service. I was able to be dropped off and picked up by one of the lads. A full report on the health of my vehicle was provided. To top it off they had washed and vacuumed as well. So it is now not just a well functioning car it looks good too.

Staff, Margaret really helpeful and friendly. She was efficient to order the parts I needed, and knew what I was talking about for various items to inspect. Overall a nice service experience.

I purchased a vehicle from Damien from Subaru Waitara. He was able to find me a car and have it delivered as a priority and at a great price. Exceptional customer service and communication was great. He listened to all my requirements and made sure they were adhered to.

The Sale:

Damien went above and beyond to provide service that is second to none. I travelled an hour to get to Subaru Waitara due to a poor experience at my local dealership and the difference was night and day. The other dealership put me in a "similar" car for the test drive, did not wish to discuss pricing (I came prepared to buy) and tried to push me towards a car I was not after. As a Sales Manager myself I was reluctant to provide a review straight after purchase because with a good sales person the quality ends there. We weren't dealing with a good sales person though, we were dealing with a great one. The after care was there, the promised extras during time of first service were honoured and more importantly he treated my family and I with respect. Upon arrival Damien identified the reason for my visit (arrived in a small heavily modified euro hatch with two kids crammed in the back), gave me a tour of the car I was actually after, made sure I test drove the exact model even though cars had to be moved to do so and provided me with the best option for getting rid of my car due to not being tradable.

The Service:

On Friday I had my first Service. With my old car I used to travel nearly 2 hours for any work to be done. I'm glad that I now only need to drive to Waitara. They carried out the service as well as the 2 recall work in a timely manner. My floor mats were filthy when I dropped the car off (holding off cleaning until after the service) but when collected the inside of the car was spotless. Being under 6000kms the Fuel additive was not required yet so instead of just leaving it out I was provided the bottle for future use.
