Officeworks Chatswood reviews
87Maddy just answered your store phone with the most joyful customer service voice I have ever heard - just thought you all should know that it's made my day.
This is my second time to be here. It took me almost half an hour to collect my online print business cards last time because the staff could not find them. I thought it was OK. But today I know here is extremely bad experience. The services is so slow even though not so many clients at all. I 've been to many of offices works, from Camden, liverpool, to City, none of one is like the staff here. Every staff is slow, look lazy, and walk pass customers but doing nothing.
I picked up a click and collect order on Friday 5/11. The assistant was extremely efficient and tried her hardest to get me carry bags but they didn't have the large ones. She gets 5JB Hi-Fi throw in large plastic bags so you can carry everything, i collected a lenovo Yoga 14" laptop and a Samsung S7 FE Tablet and had to walk back to the train station. I shall never use your store again.
On 11 August 2021 at 3.47 pm, I parked my car outside Officeworks in Chatswood for 5 minutes, dropped the recycled toner cartridges and got a fine of $110. I don't know why the cartridge recycle bins have been moved into the store. I have to do COVID check in and check out into the store to dispose of the recycled cartridge. A few people were in front of me and it took me a couple of minutes to enter into the store. I used to stop outside the store and drop the cartridges into the recycle bins at the shop front. It took only less than 1 minute. Now I got a parking fine of $110. Being sustainable is wrong? In future, I think I will just put the recycled toner cartridges outside Willoughby Council's front door. Do you agree?
Great store to get your… everything from! Very low prices too. I would 100% recommend getting things from Officeworks.
Horrible customer service experience. I have made three calls to check the click and collect status. I dailed 9201 8600 and press 3.waiting.waiting. No ones picked up the call. It looks like I have wasted 30 mins on calling an empty number.
Online printing is a debacle with no field for comments/ instructions for online orders and no-one at the store answer the phone BUT a huge callout to POOJA and ANNA at Chatswood who have been amazing with sorting out printing issues to get the exact size print the file was developed in. They have been calm when the store is super busy and people lined up for printing, they have bot been helpful and gone over and above to ensure I was able to get what I needed. POOJA in particular remembered my order and made changes in advance to save printing wastage. Well done to both of you for shining in a less than perfect system.
Very disappointed with Officeworks Chatswood at the moment.or I guess Officeworks in general.
Firstly there is no reason why these stores should be "click and collect" only.especially when stationery items for businesses and those working from home are in high demand and are required on an ad-hoc basis.
Secondly, the 'click-and-collect' process is hopeless.
Don't allow a product to be purchased online and available to collect within 2 hours when it's not available in store.normally products are required instantly and not having to wait days for it to come from a warehouse.
Thirdly.allow people to contact you and see what stock is in store instead of not answering the phones, then we can change our order immediately. How are people supposed to work when they can't get the items required to help them do their jobs?
Why they decided to go 'click and collect' only is the question that I am sure a lot of people are asking.
Click and collect does not work, with stationery items and office requirements.
Sales Assistants in the store and at the Cash register were efficient and pleasant. Female sales assistant at the front entrance was rude, impatient and ill mannered. Definitely needs a lesson on the importance of Customer service and good manners!
Wanted to print a cardboard poster for a uni assessment that was due the next day (24 hours) and thought this would be more than enough time to print however I was told that it would most likely take 2 days. I then called the next closest store and they said they could have it done within the hour. Just wish staff were more considerate for their customers.
Great place and systems for printing/copying documents.
Terrible system for printing photos.
No viable way to print photos from your phone unless you have a tiny amount of pictures on your device.
Didn’t realise it was click and collect only. I was the only customer at the door front blockade/desk. Requested if I could have a pack of index cards. Really team? You can’t just reach across and hand them to me. No, I’m not click and collecting a pack of 100 cards after spending 10 minutes in the car trying to on my phone. You do have at least 3 staff of whom none will answer the phone. Time to rediscover my local independent stationary store. Thanks for that.
Very poor service indeed. At least the robotic answering service initially presents a modicum of competence. And this symbolic exercise is a waste of time as the chances of any senior manager reading and reacting to the circumstances is myth.
Thank you to the staff member who was soo gracious in helping me print off some photos today! You made my day!
So my gf needed something printed urgently, and the pick up date on their website was too late. Tried calling them to see if theres any chance they can possibly do it earlier.
Ended up waiting 15 minutes on the phone for printing orders, while its ringing, and no one is picking up. Line wasnt even busy.
After that decided to try and ring the general enquires line, the robot lady wastes your time first, and then just ends the call without even a single ring going through.
Whats the point of even having a phone number if this is how you respond to calls.
As with all Officeworks stores, you can expect to find the entire range stocked and if something is out of stock you can speak to the staff and they can arrange to bring one from another store if available. We were after a specific printer and the staff helped us out a lot and also to compare specs with the other printers there.
Each time I submitted the printing jobs online it always gets done perfectly and is ready to be collected the next day or so! Kudos to the team!
Just wasted an hour of my time to get a refund because their machine kept on cropping photos and they couldn’t fix it. Unbelievable.
Best place to buy school essentials at minuscule prices. I don’t see why there are so many 1 star ratings.
Don't ever come here to print photos! Can't be said enough. Their 'self service' machines don't print, you still have to present a ticket to the staff at the counter and wait. This defeats the purpose entirely of being 'self' service. This basically ensures you have to stand in line behind 3 seniors who are the absolute worst. Senior citizens getting photos printed anywhere is a nightmare but somehow this Officeworks seems to attract a real choice selection of dense dull cow eyed zombies who someone gave a USB stick to at Xmas and expected them to figure out the rest. Go somewhere else. Go anywhere else!
