This is now the 2nd time I have been to this store. And have been aggressively spoken to by the printing staff my recommendation is to avoid this shop at all costs go somewhere else they are so rude

Came in to print stuff. Was gonna go for the self print for cheaper prints per page. Staff offered to help me at the counter and they charged me double the price without telling me it's double than self serve. It wasn't much money I just printed a few sheets it just felt very dishonest of the staff.

Despite the reviews, I’ve never had a problem here! Printing was pretty seamless despite the slight queues. Stock is decent however it’s not a big store so definitely doesn’t carry everything. Parking is good which is nice as street parking is nonexistent. Staff aren’t overly friendly but I’ve always found them to be knowledgeable.

I live in Chatswood but I generally do not go here anymore because all their work is slower than other stores. I always see less than 4 staffs is working there so its always a long queue. Hope this store can hire more staffs as we do not want to wait more than 10 minutes every time when we need to print out something. I found North Ryde store is bigger and they are more helpful.

I am not being a racist here but I just could not get the names of those dark brown skin black hair staff.

My experience was

When I asked the dark brown skin tone, black hair petite height lady staff (I tried my best to describe her) if she knew anything about the square reader, I could tell her face was full of impatient. Since I couldn't get any information from Square Reader online about payment over $100 to be pin-required or not, that's why I came to the shop and seek help while I still need to buy something from officework. Then she asked the "technology team for help". Obviously I knew she didn't listen to what I ask because she told another guy "I don't what she asked".

The other dark skin tone black hair man staff only gave me advice of checking out their app and it had all the information. Lol

All I wanted was get any advice if this machine suitable for my business or not. Or I need to get the upgraded one.

Anyway, I get my suitable machine for my business from JB Hi-fi. Good luck to your shop with such ignorant staff.

Ordered a very simple print job (print an A2 poster) and had to come back a total of 6 times, because each time they had stuffed up something different. I wish I were exaggerating. There’s no point even getting angry at them, it’s just a bunch of kids who have clearly not received any training in neither printing nor basic customer service. Some were nice but clueless, shuffling around with hands in sleeves, one in particular was incredibly rude and sulked like a teenager who’d just had her phone taken off her. Just posting this to warn people not to come here unless you have LOADS of time and the patience to explain why it’s unacceptable to have printing that is stripey, patchy, wrong size, wrong paper, etc etc.

Saw a laptop online and the website said Chatswood had it. Arrived and there was no display model. Rude service and ultimately while they had the laptop out back, they wouldn’t show me a non-display model. So why would I buy something I can’t see or check out? Waste of time.

Amazing helpful staff. I arrived 8 mins to closing time and needed some stuff photocopied and printed. Una and team did it all for me with kindness. Thank you so much!

The hours are wrong. On a Sunday they close at 6pm, not 10pm. Got hustled out as turned up at 5.45pm as they were closing and then asked 3x did I really think the place was open until 10pm on a Sunday. Given that's the information shown online yes.

Unfortunately they are understaffed and overpriced.
I came in on a lunch break and the USB-C to HDMI cables were sold out.
Finally I got a staff member for help and turns out they have a box of them not on the shop floor. They charge over $40 for them!
I walked out and bought it from Kmart for only $15 and works perfectly!

Anna is so kind and professional! She helped us with a print job for a funeral the following day and we so grateful! We highly commend her!

It's such a shame my closest Officeworks is the worst one. The Bondi one is good, but Chatswood is shocking. Often their ONE colour printer is out of order, staff are always wandering around not helping customers or nowhere to be seen. Never enough people behind the counter serving and huge lines. Often wait half an hour to laminate etc. Long wait times even to pay. Staff not very experienced or knowledgeable/trained. Often customers become irate and argue because of things not being organised or running well. Wish someone from upper management or head office would visit for a week and intervene. Or just close down and let a better store open in that location.

It is so unfortunate that the OfficeWorks In Chatswood closest to me is literally the worst one to go to. I have been coming in regularly during the course of my Masters degree for The last two years, and to say service is poor would be putting it mildly. Every single time I’ve come in to collect a printing job that I have put through online, one way or another there is some error with the job which then requires me to get it corrected thus consuming more time from me, and also labour and time for them. I have come to the point where I literally would pick up a job expecting a correction will be necessary and if not, I would feel like I’d won the lottery. Now these complaints may seem minor to some but as a customer who comes in regularly and pays exorbitant amounts of money for work that is not 100%, it’s a wrought. And if you complain or point out the error, you are made to feel like you are being an inconvenience. I’d love to be able to come in and collect a job and not have to point out another error made. But unfortunately this is not the case. They have recently increased their prices with jobs (printing) to name one of them, but the service is still lacking. Did you know that you pay an extra 2cents for each paper you want a hole-punch on, which by the way, the copier machine does automatically. No human labour involved at all for adding that to your printing job. It is unfortunately a systems problem. There are no systems and logic to their functioning, hence the dissatisfaction of most customers who go there.
There is only one employee who actually works there and does so with grace, efficiency and kindness, and her name is Anna. It’s a pity that I don’t see her there as often.

My friend told me that if you want to buy stationery supplies in Australia, you must go to the largest chain store "Officeworks". Passed by its Chatswood branch today and walked in to take a look. The salesman are polite, the store is large, and the products are neatly arranged by category. However, compared to the stationery stores in Japan, Taiwan, and even Hong Kong, there is still capacity for improvement. The downside is that the variety of goods is limited, and it does not have sufficient choices, so it is difficult to attract people to buy. Unless the guy is too free, or really wants to buy something for use, he will not go to the shop initiatively.

Not bad, but would need to check the availability of stock online before going there otherwise you might not find what you need.

A little bit far from the Chatswood Train/Metro Station, so you would either need to walk and cross many roads to get here or take a bus. Would really love the NSW Government construct a light rail extension from Chatswood to North Willoughby to Willoughby to Cammeray to North Sydney.

Some of them have a very hostile attitude. Went for some promotional items and treated as though I have come to get it for free.

One printer out of two not working, no back up printing at the counter, long queues, when asked to speak to a manager one staff member was very hostile, and was unable to call the manager.
Note to officeworks if your going to make everything automated make sure it works and help for the older generation please.

The place is normally OK, but lately the website says that they close at 9 pm but you arrive 8.30pm and they already closed. You stand in the door and they ignored you with no explanation and no advetisement and unfortunately is not the first time!

3.9 - This is a much smaller version than the one on Epping Road. They seem more focused on specific items like household products and stationery.
