Cho Cho San reviews
86Excellent modern atmosphere. Dishes are well flavoured and balanced. Relatively small restaurant so book in advance, staff are excellent. If you're looking for a creative fusion of asian and western food, this is a must.
Very nice atmosphere and music so good
the service was very good and
food are absolutely fantastic
Not quite good as expected or as the price, but still a good place to try. Although it is not a typical Japanese restaurant as it is named after.
Very nice food and services! Staffs are friendly and they know the menu very well and gave us good recommendations! The raw tuna avocado and raw beef dishes are very nice!
One for everyone's bucket list.warning though, you will go back again and again. Must do Cho Cho San Feast! Incredible meal, definitely in the top 3 meals I have ever had! Great service and atmosphere.
Love this place. Each dish is unique. Fish collars are a must try if you like getting your hands dirty.
Love the dipping sauce sesames with sashimi! The combination of fried seaweed with avocado are really tasty! Staffs are so nice and funny. Great experience for the first time!
Nice atmosphere and tasty food. Like the staff who can speak fluent Chinese. Make the dinner more interesting.
Group of 3. Tried the taste menu, Salmon and Lamb is amazing, kingfish and chicken just so so. Services is okay. Will come back to try other dishes.
Food was good, servings are a little on the smaller side but good for sharing. Recommend the beef tartare and grilled prawns.
Amazing food! Fast service, not bad ambiance (little dark but that's a lot of restaurants). Enjoyed the cocktails, love the japanese infusion. All the food was amazing though karaage was average but the wagyu that's the temporary speciality menu item was so good. Best I've ever had. Desserts were amazing and so different to other restaurants.
It’s Japanese with a twist in a good way. Food is tasty, service is very good. Huge prawns with kombu butter is just delicious. Not sure if it’s still in the menu but I remember I had this Japan curry crab omellette which captures the taste of Japanese curry but did not look like it, it was very tasty.
Always good here and didn't disappoint for a Tuesday birthday treat. Green tea softie fit desert was a fav.
Great food and nice atmosphere. The only negative thing is that we felt rushed through the menu. The next course was served when we hadn't even finished the previous one, same as our drinks (we had the sake tasting).
Great atmosphere however food was very light on for the cost and wine price was very expensive. The food was delicious they do have limited selections for gluten free
I would replace most of my sexual experiences with their sticky date pudding and I'd still be a happy man.
Went there today and the ambience was nice, clean tidy and alowing some space between tables. Staff were friendly, hygiene was great. Ordered 4 dishes, the one with chopped raw beef mixed with fried noodle was superb and surprised our taste buds. Mushroom Tofu with miso was also amazing, it even had Vegemite on it. I would describe this place as "featuring creative cuisines with a tint of Japanese style ", not a genuine Nippon restaurant though.
The best and freshest sashimi ever. Definitely found a spot to call our own. Hats off to the chefs. Masters of their trade
Hip atmosphere cool place to hang out or for a date? But the food is pricey for what you get, some dishes were good, some questionable
