Access Canberra Motor Vehicle Inspection Station Hume reviews
53A place of Rude employee and Rubbish Management. How do you send all the staff on lunch brake at same time and make people to wait for everyone to come back from lunch and asked lady when your staff finish lunch brake, she responnded in a way that how dare i asked this question. But Govt employee we need to be respectful to them, they can push people to extreme and not we are not allowed to say a word.
All the staff at the Hume were courteous and helpful pitty the same can't be said for the Access Canberra call centre as the advice for the process required was missing some essential steps which made the transaction impossible to complete in one visit.
This is a review for the beautiful lady at the front desk. She was so kind to my two year son and I after a long trip. I hope you know that you are doing an amazing job!
The ladies at the front desk and inspectors were fantastic and helped me sold my issues on the spot with a smile. Couldn’t recommend this team any higher! Thanks for the great service and support
I was expecting a very low level customer relations experience at another ACT department. The staff are amazingly friendly, efficient and so my visit was fantastic. I give you my genuine congratulations.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Good facility but extra street signs would be good as it feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. Great street art wall painting sign out the front though!:)
Check your car after ID check guys, they hit my car somewhere, did not realised until few days after. If you made a mistake atlases let us know
Had to go somewhere to transfer car in to my name after id check as they says they don't have enough stuff
Worst experience I've ever had in a government process. Over the three times I was made to drive out there I saw staff were yelling at each other, highly inconsistent processes and checks, and terrible communication for what process they wanted me to go through. It took me over a 3 months to get my plates changed over. Embarrassing for a government organisation and staff.
Absolute joke. Over a week before I can get a vin inspection done? Get some more staff already. This has been an issue for years. Not only that but they act all secret and close the doors, oooh oooh look at me I can read some numbers of compliance plates. I have the power. Staff here are an absolute joke. I hate every second of this place.
Didn’t let me change over my registration after my booked inspection because I didn’t have a screwdriver. Surely something they could anticipate people needing?
Ran on time. Sat in waiting room tv n kids. Nice friendly staff. The lady gave my kids chocolates. Good security bloke helped holding the door! Friendly staff
These guys have no idea on compliance of grey imports. Since A80 supras don't come up on the Australian data base they use a blanket type statistic which is totally unreasonable. Firstly, failed on noise emissions on a totally factory OEM system. The exhaust, turbos and tune is untouched from 1997. Secondly, the car was failed due to the lack of child restraints which funnily enough were never installed on my vehicle although it was a factory option for JDM supras. In summary I was failed on 2 apparent violations that were passed previously by the RTA on importation to Australia. Also, I don't pay you to slam my hood like you own it, do better. A trained monkey could do this job better.
Inspection staff were great and very helpful. Gent behind the desk was one of the most unpleasant and incompetent people I’ve come across in a while. Not that you have any choice about where to go, good luck!
The woman at the front desk is just so bloody rude as if everyone f-Ed her mom and left her. Avoid her at all cost.
The guys at the station were very helpful. They were fast, efficient and friendly. It's the best experience I've had dealing with any sort of Access Canberra services.
Booking process is very bad. The waiting time on the line is 30min+, the earliest appointment to just verify freaking VIN is 5 weeks away and no online registration facility or walk in shop,
I got my vehicle inspected today but I was not able to do rego as the staff was sick. I told that's alright but can I come in tomorrow for rego as other Access Canberra centres have long waiting time and I have already five hours at Belco as I was given wrong advise on phone. They were like unfortunately we can't do that. Frustrating and painful service. It is a pain changing rego from NSW to ACT
Good people there. It's a pitty I waited more than 3 months to get a Vehicle Identity Check due to lockdown only to find out that Access Canberra didn't realize that I don't need one because Allbids is a registered dealer. The inspectors here knew and told me straight away.
I spent 20 minutes on hold trying to book an appointment to get my vehicle inspected. After waiting for over 20 minutes I just gave up.
