Access Canberra Motor Vehicle Inspection Station Hume

All the staff at the Hume were courteous and helpful pitty the same can't be said for the Access Canberra call centre as the advice for the process required was missing some essential steps which made the transaction impossible to complete in one visit.

This is a review for the beautiful lady at the front desk. She was so kind to my two year son and I after a long trip. I hope you know that you are doing an amazing job!

I was expecting a very low level customer relations experience at another ACT department. The staff are amazingly friendly, efficient and so my visit was fantastic. I give you my genuine congratulations.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Good facility but extra street signs would be good as it feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. Great street art wall painting sign out the front though!:)

Great unlike the other Access Canberras. I was waiting outside and they called me to organise payment over the phone. Exceptional other centres should learn.

It also has full Access Canberra office on site, you can get your number plates on the spot. Staff is helpful with great attitude. I would prefer this over Belconnen Access Canberra.

Good inspectors, very understanding, if you don't pass roadworthy the 2nd time they'll do the third one free with no booking.

Been here several times. The garage officers are very friendly, considerate and goes an extra mile for their customers. Sometime last year, despite they were full on busy and near to closing time, the officer was able to secure a booking for me in a very short period of time so that I can drive to work the next day. Thanks to the officer Neil for going forward with the booking. Also, thanks to the officers Colin, Nigel, Dan for their extraordinary customer service as always. Very much appreciated!

Organised, efficient and helpful. I had to complete a roadworthy inspection and identity check after buying back my hail damaged Golf. It was all over in 30 minutes. Really pleased.

I brought my toddler with me and every staff member went above and beyond to help me out! Everyone was so polite, patient and friendly. It made the experience stress free.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They even turned the tv to ABC kids for my two year old!

Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. I got there very early as I'd finished my shopping and decided to read a novel in the car and maybe have a nap. The reception lady sorted all my papers early so back to my car I went. I did fall asleep but fortunately woke up in time. While waiting in the waiting room for my car inspection the nice reception lady passed by on her way to the car park. She was on her way to find me and wake me up from my nap in case I'd overslept! How thoughtful! She even let me pick out my own numberplate so I was able to choose my lucky number. Then the man in reception said to call for help if I needed help putting the new plates on. Turned out that I did as I dropped 2 nuts somewhere under the back of the ute somewhere in the chassis. An inspector heard me say "oh fruitloops" (I actually did say that) and came over to help, ending up lying down on the concrete to find the dropped nuts in the ute's chassis and screw them on for me! I would have been in a pickle without him. So thank you, you wonderful people.

Service was very quick and staff were extremely helpful. Had booked in for a road worthy and ID check over the phone for separate days but on the day of the road worthy they were able to also complete the ID Check. Fantastic, friendly and helpful

A very helpful team both out in inspection bays and office front. Special mention to Vanessa on the front desk for her happy approach to her work making it a very enjoyable experience. Great to now be able now do everything in one location - roadworthy, identity check, number plate selection and payment for services.
